Once Akashi calmed down, she enthusiastically used a giant broom to sweep the entire area clean, and we all had breakfast together with the members of the drama club.

The meal consisted of stocked bread, jam, vegetable salad, and some fried bacon. Despite its simplicity, it was well-received, especially the bacon.

Yup, I’m glad I made bacon.

…you eat a lot, Akashi.

“Maito, this is so delicious! What is this? What is this?”

With shining eyes, the cute girl continued to munch on the fried bacon. Hmm, how can someone look both adorable and pitiful at the same time?

“It’s bacon.”

“It’s different from the bacon I know! I want more, but I’m already full… Ah, if I just throw up a little… Aaah, but that would be such a waste… Ah, but, but…”

“Stop it! Don’t throw up!”

It’s beyond heartwarming to see someone enjoying the food so much that it becomes worrisome. Yes, what is this feeling?

In the end, I had to share about half of the bacon with the drama club to calm Akashi down.

For Akashi, who had been eating plain meat without any seasoning, this bacon seemed like a drug to her.

Carrots for horses, bacon for Akashi. From now on, when I want to catch this kid, I’ll hang bacon in the future.

The breakfast, where Akashi almost completely devoured the bacon, ended safely, and now we were about to start stabilizing the living conditions of the drama club.

The team for exploring the 4th-floor stairs consisted of Suzumoto, Hagasaki-kun, Kadomi-kun, Toriumi, Kariya, and, from the drama club, Akashi and Shidou-kun.

Both Akashi and Shidou-kun had enough acting ability to perform solo, and Shidou-kun also specialized in healing, while Akashi excelled in close combat. So, these two were selected from the drama club.

Akashi and Shidou-kun were both intelligent, so I expected that the stair exploration would progress smoothly.

As for the food, we relied on the supplies from the chemistry club today and planned to do a big food run tomorrow. The reason for that was that if we spent today equipping the members of the drama club, their combat power would increase significantly, making tomorrow’s food procurement much easier.

In the meantime, Katori and Hariu worked diligently on creating various theater equipment and props, from large stage settings to small items.

The president was more interested in this work than exploring the stairs, as he researched something related to Glida’s poison. He seemed to be having fun, which was great.

As for me, I focused on mass-producing costumes for the drama club, ranging from dresses to animal costumes, depending on the variations in the plays they would perform. It kept me quite busy, but I enjoyed it immensely.

It seemed that we all had a natural inclination toward creating things. Even Hariu and Katori seemed to be enjoying themselves.

…Katori, in addition to repairing the damaged Unit-01 whose legs were melted, was planning to create Unit-02 for the drama club members. He said it was for the sake of romance, whatever that meant.

…This different world is falling apart!

Around noon, the stair exploration team returned, and it was time for lunch.

We had pizza for lunch. Sorry to all the thin and crispy crust fans out there, but it was an American-style thick and doughy pizza. Well, it’s okay to have both types, right? Maybe I should change my allegiance.

During lunch, Shidou-kun put on a one-man show, acting out the scene of repeatedly saying “pizza” and confusing it with body parts. “Pizza-pizza-pizza-pizza-pizza-pizza-pizza-pizza-pizza-pizza!” and then asking, “What’s here?” “Knee!” and responding with “No, it’s actually an elbow…!” This performance caused many people to choke on their food. The drama club members are quite entertaining.

In the afternoon, it was back to work.

Since the stair exploration went surprisingly quickly, the stair exploration team, along with the drama club members who didn’t have production-related skills, went out to gather food.

Ketorami went along with them to have his meal.

I asked Ketorami about the effects of poison, but he assured me that it was not a problem.

As for Hunter, he seemed exhausted from the previous events and was still dozing off, so he’s currently wrapped around my neck, keeping watch while I’m away.

…Though sometimes when half-asleep, he would tighten around my neck, which is a bit unnerving.

And so, the production team continued to work tirelessly.

I was not only making clothes but also needed to make blankets and futons, so we were a bit short-handed.

[Good morning. Hey, hey, what are you doing there?]

Oh my, looks like Glida has woken up.

“I’m making clothes. But I’ve run out of thread.”

Well, if I turn wood into fiber, the maid dolls can move around and turn it into thread.

[Thread, huh? …It’s better not to stick it together, right?]

“Yeah… Huh?”

[My thread is sturdy. Want to use it?]

Spider silk is said to be about five times stronger than steel of the same thickness. But what if it’s the silk of a unique monster?

…Could it be even stronger?

“Um, can I have some of it?”

[Sure, you can. I’m bound by the contract to obey your commands, after all… Ah, no matter how many times I see it, I’m enchanted by this body.]

While Glida was lost in admiration of her legs, I asked Hariu to make a spool for the thread.

“Okay, Glida, can you release some thread for me to wind around the spool?”

[Sure, here you go.]

And the thread came out at an astonishing speed…

….

[Hey, aren’t you winding it?]

“Well, it’s just… too fast.”

[You’re so clumsy.]

Shut up! It’s because you’re too fast!

[Well, fine, give it to me.]

Reluctantly, I handed the spool to Glida, and in an instant, she wrapped the thread around it and returned it to me.

This spider is quite skilled, I must say.

When I appraised the thread, the result showed [Glass Spider Thread].

Glass… so it wasn’t far off to call it a glass spider after all.

I pulled and bent it a little, and it had the texture of high-quality silk.

Since it’s a protein fiber, it makes sense that it would feel this way.

Until now, I improved the performance of fabrics by “dyeing” or “embroidering,” but if the base material itself becomes even better, then we can expect an even greater improvement in performance!

Once I finished making the clothes for the members of the drama club, I started thinking about renewing the equipment for the Chemistry Club.

I asked Hariu to make more spools, and Glida helped me wind the thread. Then, I had the maid dolls weave the fabric, and I focused on sewing the garments.

The fabric woven from the [Glass Spider Thread] had a glossy and supple texture, soft to the touch, yet incredibly durable. Whether woven thinly for a sheer and delicate feel or densely packed for strength, it maintained its flexibility. This fabric was truly remarkable.

Hmm, this is fun. Even thin fabrics that may not be practical for everyday use can be put to good use as costumes for the theater. Glida became a valuable addition to our group at the perfect time.

[Ahh, I never expected to be forced to produce so much thread. Well, it’s fine, but once this is done, I’ll need a meal.]

Even a glass spider gets hungry, huh?

“What do you eat, Glida?”

[Anything, really. Well, you look soft and delicious… just kidding! What’s with that face?]

It didn’t sound like a joke at all! I wonder how my expression must have looked.

“I mean, you eat anything, like meat?”

[Well, yes.]

I guess Glida is pretty strong, so she might be able to manage on her own for meals.

I spent the afternoon tirelessly working as a clothes manufacturing machine.

Glida’s thread had such a nice texture that sewing with it was enjoyable. Well, it didn’t change the fact that it was tiring work!

By evening, we had gathered enough food, so it was time to prepare dinner.

“Can you manage your own meals, Glida?”

[Are you making fun of me? I’ve been doing just fine on my own until now, you know?]

Ah, right.

“Well then, have a good meal. Thanks for your help. Please come back by tonight.”

I then watched as Glida effortlessly moved away.

Now, it’s time for my own meal.

By that time, Hunter had also woken up, so while cooking, I cut some raw meat and fed it to him. I prepared a sumptuous dinner with lots of vegetables, meat, and fish that had been gathered.

With the help of the girls from the drama club, we cooked and enjoyed our meal, chatting and preparing for tomorrow. As night fell, we went to bed early, ready for the challenges of the next day, surrounded by freshly made bedding.

The members of the drama club were completely engrossed in their fluffy bedding. After all, it was such a comfortable and cozy feeling.

Even the bedding from the Chemistry Club was soft and fluffy, as we had sun-dried it all day.

Now, my fellow adventurers! Embrace the softness of the bedding and sleep well!

Good morning.

Today is another day of preparations.

Most of the preparations are already done, except for me who needs to make various fabric products, and Katori who hasn’t completed the humanoid optical weapon No. 2, along with the members of the drama club who are helping with that.

In other words, most of the people have free time.

So, they decided to go on a sightseeing trip in this world.

They are going to visit the Diechemoore and the royal capital. Well, I can understand why they would want to do that; it’s a good opportunity, and it also helps with explaining the world’s setting.

Most importantly, they all seem a bit tired, so taking a break like this is crucial, I think.

Additionally, I asked them to run some errands. Things like spices, ready-to-eat food, and bottles.

Bottles are constantly being used by the President for various purposes, so we always seem to run out of them.

So, around here, it’s quite peaceful.

…Except for the occasional clattering sounds from the humanoid optical weapon. They can be a bit noisy when they move.

The fact that it’s moving must mean that it’s nearing completion.

Everyone returned by lunchtime.

As expected, the female members of the drama club seemed delighted about the shopping. Although for us, apart from my experiments, we hardly bought anything related to clothing or accessories in this world. But they all enjoyed shopping for clothes, accessories, and other items.

…The male members didn’t seem too thrilled to be dragged along, but they had their own fun, rowing boats endlessly at Deichemoore or engaging in duels in front of the Colosseum, you know, enjoying it in their own way.

Well, the female members of the drama club are all strong, so it seems they didn’t have any trouble with being kidnapped or anything like that. They said they defeated any attackers easily, like one punch was enough.

Apparently, a suspicious person once approached them, and seemingly weak Akashi, with a single right straight punch, showed enough force to serve as a deterrent.

As for our side, the humanoid optical weapon is finally completed as well.

After finishing lunch, we can set off anytime.

…Well, our ultimate goal is to return from this world. This is just a temporary farewell.

Moreover, we have the [Communication] bracelets and the dispatched maid dolls, so we can always stay in touch.

Feeling a bit sentimental, we all had lunch together.
