Lu Jue looked at her with his pitch-black eyes. After looking at her quietly for a few moments, he pinched his lips a little and said slowly, “Ugly you.”

Recalling that the old Lu jue had called her ugly a few times before she got her halo back, Ning Zhi harrumphed and pinched him on his handsome cheeks where water was still dripping from. “I’m ugly now, so you don’t like me anymore?”

The two attracted a lot of attention from the tourists on the streets. Not only because of their hurried steps but also because of their appearances. Even though Lu Jue was completely drenched, he was still quite good looking. Ning Zhi, although not exactly stunning after doing her makeup, drew attention as well because of her good looks.
Realizing that she only had 5 minutes left of materializing time, Ning Zhi quickened her steps and walked toward the hotel with Lu Jue in tow.
“Xiao Jue?” Mother and Father Lu had taken their time to stroll around the resort together. Noticing that she had left something at the hotel, Mother Lu was on her way back to get it from her room when she ran into her drenched son.
