I walk from one corner of the yard to the other. Calling for the Maro. I want to find Maro but I didn’t find Maro anywhere I looked. Ikuru also went to look at the rooftop, but he came down immediately and told me that he wasn’t there.
“I couldn’t be, did he walked into the forest…?”
“I don’t know. Well, I don’t think Maro would have a problem going out into the woods… but I’m worried about her.”
I nodded in agreement to Ikuru’s words. I looked around the garden once more. No, they’re gone.
“If she’s in the forest, Maro will be fine. She has snow magic and she’s fast on the run… but there will a problem if someone took her away, right?”

Indeed, Maro is cute and they’re rare.
They could be kidnapped in a haphazard manner. A stray rabbit? I wondered if they had taken her by mistake or something. Anxiety flared up in my brain and it seemed to show on my face. Then, Ikuru called out to me, “It’s okay.” He said consoling me.
“Well, it’s unlikely that she would be taken. Snow bunnies are hard to catch. Besides… this house and garden are safe, right?”

I wonder if Ikuru can see everything… even though I have no idea where Maro is at all. I wonder if this is also thanks to the search for wind magic.

It’s Maro’s voice, coming from Ikuru.
I looked at Ikuru and Maro came out of Ikuru’s back. She climbed onto Ikuru’s shoulder.
Maro was holding a small flower in her mouth.
”Mi!”
“E? Can I have it?”
“Mi~!”
“Thank you!”
I took the flower from Maro and gently sniff the small yellow flower. Immediately, the sweet scent of the flowers spreads through me, creating a gentle atmosphere.
With a pion, Maro jumps down from Ikuru’s shoulder and performs a magnificent jump. As it is, I tap the ground with my small hands.
”Hmm?”
“I thought you wanted me to plant it there.”
“Aah!”
I gently plant the flowers where Maro indicates. Then Maro sniffs the flower with satisfaction. She jumped to me, and I held her firmly in my arms.

“Of course!” Maro made a high, pretty voice as if to say so.
Ah, right. It’s a Maro flower. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could make a flower garden with these flowers?

In response to my voice, a sweet scent rose from the ground all at once. The little yellow flowers spread out all around our feet.
”Mi!”
“As always, it’s amazing.”
Somehow, I felt a little shy…ehehe.
“Maro’s flowers are beautiful.”
“Mi!”
“That’s right.”
It was like a yellow carpet of small flowers. It would be cute to make a flower crown out of these flowers.

I think I’ve forgotten something important.
“Hinami-sama, let’s go inside and have tea.”
“Ah, un…”
“Let’s fry up some bread today.”
“Mii~!”
As Ikuru head towards the house, Maro slipped out of my arms and head towards the house too. Maro loves sweet bread.
Ah, right! I remember now!
“Right! Where have you been, Maro!?”
I shout that out loud and run after Ikuru and Maro.
No, I know that. The flowers that Maro brought me…they don’t bloom in my garden, you can’t get them unless you go into the forest. In other words, you can’t get it unless you go into the forest.
“Mi~?”
“Ah! Maro, don’t try to fool me!”
“Mi!”
Maro, who is in an easy-going mood, seemed to have tried to distract me.
