Chapter 395: Jackson Returned And Find Her Gone

"Jane, you have ruined the image I managed to build for myself all these years, if you were someone else I wouldn't have let this slide but for the sake that we were partners I will let it go," Samantha said sounding as though she was benevolence.
It isn't that she forgave Jane for ruining her image but the truth is with her current predicament she can't do any harm to Jane.

"I didn't kill her but I made her leave Jack without using force. If I had known that it was so easy to get rid of her from Jack's life then I would have done this a long time ago," Jane thought grinning happily.
"You mean you made Jasmine leave Jackson on her own accord? How is that possible? How did you threaten her to do such a thing? The Jasmine I know wouldn't have agreed to leave the person she loved even though you were to place a gun at her head...,"
"You don't need to know how I did it. We are no longer partners anyways," Jane said as she grabbed the bottle of champagne lying on the table.
"This would have been a perfect celebratory party if Rose was here," Jane said before she opened the bottle of champagne.
While Jane was busy celebrating Jackson, Catherine and the others were busy searching for Jasmine. After the kidnapping incident and the incident she and Jackson got attacked, everyone became so anxious on hearing that Jasmine was missing.
Jackson spent the night at Ben's secret room just so he would be there when Ben discovers Jasmine's whereabouts.
No matter how many times they checked the CCTV footage, the last place Jasmine was last seen was in Jackson's company. It was just like Henry and Rafael told him.
They were no sign of her leaving the building after entering it. It was as if she disappeared into thin air.
Due to the findings, Jackson had Max and the others search for Jasmine in his company but an hour later, they called to inform him that not even her shadow was seen in the building.
Even the CCTV cameras at the parking lounge didn't capture her leaving the building.
Jackson only left Ben's hideout when it was morning. When he reached home, the first thing he did was call Lilian for questioning.
He has charged Lilian with the responsibility of taking care of Jasmine whenever she drops by at his home so he assumed she knew what happened the previous day.
"Lilian, what happened yesterday? Who visited the mansion yesterday? Tell me all you recall about what your Madam did, including all her mood while I was away," Jackson said his eyes glued on the lady sitting in front of him.
Lilian began narrating all she recalled that happened since he stopped coming home.
"Do you mean Jane came to the house yesterday? Who let her into my home?" Jackson questioned in a cold tone.
"Yes, she did. Madam's mood was already bad all these days because of how much she yearns for you but her mood worsened after Miss Jane left the mansion. Madam lock herself in the room refusing to come out for breakfast," Lilian relayed in a composed tone.
"I was so worried about Madam's well-being but there was little I could do," Lilian added.
"If Jasmine's mood changed drastically after Jane left then I am sure Jasmine disappearance has something to do with Jane's visit. Only when we know what they discuss will we know why Jasmine suddenly disappeared," Jackson said as he stood up to leave. He halted when his cell phone began ringing.
"Jackson, I just learned that Jasmine wasn't kidnapped but she deliberately left," Catherine break the news to Jackson.
"What do you mean? What made you say that?" Jackson asked. He wasn't able to hide his anxiety.
"She sent me a message. I have forwarded it to you now," Catherine who was dressed ready to leave for the office said.
"Ok, I will call you back after reading the message," Jackson couldn't wait to see the message Catherine talked about. He disconnected the call and then clicked on the message notification that just pops up on his screen.
"Hi, Cat I know you must be worried about my whereabouts but actually I am fine. After the incident that happened, I have come to realise that maybe I am not the right woman for Ice Prince. He loves me but all I do is implicate him...," Jackson paused reading the message.
What does she mean by she is always implicating me? Since when have I ever complained about anything that happened between us?
