Chapter 400: She Is Here

Jackson after parking his car raced into the house expecting to meet Jasmine in the sitting room but surprisingly he didn't come across a soul after entering the large house.
Was the information Max gave me right? Could he have made a mistake?
Jackson thought as he scrutinized the large sitting room. He was about to give up hopes of finding her there when his eyes caught the photo album lying on the grey colour couch.
This was the same album the others gave the two of them as a reward when they went on their last trip.
"She is here, that is great!" Jackson smiled as he began searching the house for the lady whom his heart and entire being has yearned for.
Despite having to run around the large house for over ten minutes Jackson did not give up. The weather at the time of the year was normally cold but due to running around beads of sweat began forming on his forehead.
Climbing down the stairs he turned to look out through the glass window he was surprised to see that it was snowing outside.
"It's snowing! I guess this is a sign that even the heavens honour our union. Who on this surface earth can go against the will of heaven?" The snowfall further motivated Jackson.
"Miss Naughty, mentioned once that her grandma is a lover of flowers. If that is the case then that means the mansion must have a flower garden," Jackson thought as he looked around to see whether he will be able to guess where the garden was located.
Because there was no sign of maids in the building, he had no one to ask questions. It was a far distance from the gate to the house, he did not feel like asking the security guards questions so he decided to search for the garden by himself.
Jackson did not have to search for long to see the lady wearing a fur white coat sitting on the wooden swing while staring at what he didn't know.
Jackson finally heaves a sigh of relief after setting eyes on her. He approached where she sat without making a sound. When he was close enough, he halted.
"Are you enjoying the beautiful scenery at the expense of your health?" Jackson's cold voice jolted the lady in a trance back to reality. She jerk to her feet and turn around to face where the familiar voice came from.
Jasmine was too shocked to utter a word when she got a glimpse of his frowning face.
"Has Miss Jasmine Avans become so cold-hearted that she would make me worry by harming her health after leaving me without uttering a word or leaving me a message?" Jackson asked as he took two steps forward. He waited for her to speak but despite waiting for three minutes Jasmine didn't utter a word to him. She barely stares at his face with her eyes which speaks nothing else but longing.
"Do you now hate me so much that you wouldn't bring yourself to speak to me?" Jackson said as he quickly closed the gap between them.
"If you hate me so much because of what happened I don't mind going down on my...,"
"What are you doing here?" Jasmine asked before he could finish his words.
"I am here to find the one who had stolen and afterwards ran away with my heart," Jackson said as he raised his hand and caressed her face he has yearned to touch and feel the warmth of her skin against his.
"What are you doing here, shouldn't you be enjoying the upcoming New Year with your new lover...,"
"How do you want me to make you understand that you are the only woman I have ever loved? How do I make you understand that I will choose to forever remain single if you choose not to marry me?" Jackson said emotionally as he continued stroking her face affectionately.
"Why did you have to leave without uttering a word or even leaving a letter? Was the reason you easily made a deal with her to leave me because you never loved me...,"
"How could you say that? You know that is not true. I wouldn't hesitate to give up my life for your sake. That is how much I love you, Ice Prince," Jasmine unknowingly fell for Jackson's tricks. This is all he needed her to say. He needed her to confess her true feelings for him.
"Then why did you agree to leave me? Why did you allow the evil ones to successfully cause a rift between us?" Jackson asked as he cupped her face with his two hands. Jasmine turned her back on him when she recalled the incident that happened a month ago.
Although because of the influence of the two families the news about the incident was taken off the internet like it never existed, she still recalls vividly what happened. She still recalls the numerous despicable names the public called her.
Homewrecker, sl*t, temptress, promiscuous woman and so many other names to mention a few were the names everyone gave her.
Honestly, she didn't care about how others thought about her.
What she cared the most about was how Jackson saw her. His silence had made her guess that maybe he agreed with them.
"Because I don't think I am good enough for you. I have caused you and your company so much trouble, I don't deserve you or your love...,"
"I will only say this once so listen to me clearly Jasmine Avans," Jackson said as he turned her around so that she was facing him. He stares into your lovely eyes.
"Nobody has the right to tell me whether or not you are good enough for me. No one has the right to say whether or not you deserve me. Not even you have the right to say these so never repeat those words or I will get furious at you," Jackson said in a firm tone.
