Kei smiled in defeat as he looked back at the two women who have been continuously weeping and trying to prolong his departure for three hours now.
He could see how genuinely they were concerned for him but he have to cross the portal and leave them behind for the time being.
They asked whether they can also come, despite having a lot of affairs to deal with in their respective life. Kaori had an organization to control where Karen has to learn politics and other stuff to become the successor of her clan.
However, even though they want to abandon their responsibility, Kei just couldn't take them along because of their current physicality.
He can protect them with his barrier skill but Kei did not want to take any kind of risk. So he chose to coax them for time being rather than to take them into that hell domain.
With a smile, he walked toward them and hugged the two for the last time. Kaori and Karen were a little startled as they glanced at each other for once before hugging Kei back lovingly.
If they might, they would have never allowed him to go there but they knew the importance of the matter as what they heard from Kei. They might be worrywarts but didn't want to be imposing more than they should.
"Take care, you two. I will make sure to bring some souvenirs on my way back…"

After crossing the portal which led Kei to the Chaos Realm, he sighed in resignation since before today he never felt so troubled to leap between worlds.
As he thought, love was a deep feeling and he doesn't like when he has to make someone worry for him. But there was nothing he could do rather than look forward and start walking to his destination.
'Now let's see… '
He roamed his eyes around him and found that basically, nothing have changed. Unlike the human world where greenery and decent population make the city lively, this realm seemed like a post-apocalyptic region.
Dark red sky with four suns parallelly shining overhead yet no sunshine able to breach through the dense atmosphere of the place.
The soil was also crimson in color which is the result of the bloodshed this whole globe has faced over time. The place where Kei appeared was an abandoned land with no population around but there were several huge skeletons of different kinds of creatures lying here and there.
This world does belong to the strongest mortal creatures but they weren't the only ones who reside in this place.
**GRRRRR**
As Kei was thinking to change his appearance, a growling low pitched sound came from his back before felt something approaching at a dangerous pace.
Kei turned toward the creature and was greeted with a poison-tailed and humanoid face with a lion body, creature, commonly known as Manticore.
A Manticore was a mythical beast with a power level enough to kill a young dragon and if in a group, they could even rival an adult dragon as well.
Kei first thought to just escape away and dodge the Manticore but he delayed too long to jump away now which left him with only a single option…
'Its been a while… '
Pulling his sleeve Kei clenched his right fist as he awaited the creature's arrival with a wicked smile on his face. The color of his eyes took a reddish shade as Kei readied himself for the first and final strike.
**TA*BADK*TA*BADK**
The manticore which was almost four times the size of an elephant ran furiously with its eyes fixated on its prey. But little did the Manticore think that it would be its last hunt…and last misconception on whom to prey…
**BOOOOOOM**
Just the Manticore reached a certain distance, Kei punched in the open air with all his might resulting in an instant explosion of the whole creature into bits and pieces.
Blood spurted in all directions as the shock wave of that decisive punch penetrated the straight path for more than three seconds and threw the bodily matter of the Manticore in all directions.
This was the result of Kei striking the beast when it was almost fifty meters apart. The strength was unbelievable, to say the least however there was a complicated expression shrouded over Kei as he muttered under his breath.
'I have grown sloppy huh…. '
