The third realm of the hierarchy or the domain of blood and claws belongs to the beastmen and similar beings who have reigned at the third spot ever since they have been divided.
The reason for their superiority to elves despite having fairly less control over magic stems from the fact that Beasts have superior physical innate prowess which they awaken ever since the time they open their eyes. Unlike elves that are frail and weaker than humans if not for mana, adult Beastmen possess enough strength to subdue an entire battalion of human soldiers if subtracted from their firepower.
However, climbing more than third rank was not in their capability because the bloodthirsty being resides above them. Vampires not only enjoy inhumane physical attributes but their magical capability was not anything to scoff at either. Vampires could be called the mixture of every three realms below it.
Back in the third realm, the orb where most of the beastmen resides was called Muara. It was almost three times the size of the earth and was divided into five major parts, ruled by their respective emperors/ess.
There were hundreds of kingdoms on the continents but every king was accountable to their respective emperor whatever major decision they were partaking in. Occasional kingdom wars were not uncommon but whenever the situation of large-scale battles starts to heat up, the central authority intervenes in either dissolving the situation or eradicating the royal family of the said kingdoms and bringing a new set of rulers.
The five empires might be in a state of peace in the recent era ever since a certain man took over the reins, but it was no hidden fact that there is a continuous power struggle transpiring up to this date to become the one and only supreme of the whole realm.
As it implements, the five empires do not have equal strength and due to some reason, despite knowing such a fact no one dares to acquire weaker empires by forming an alliance.
The weakest one is the Salkhar Empire of the east which is ruled by Emperor Raizer Salkhar, one of the oldest and most prominent figures of the realm. This continent mostly deals with trade and harvest of Muara. Due to the lack of strong fighters and the falling lineage of Emperor Salkhar, the empire has been lying at the bottom of the list for hundreds of years and thus become the easiest hunt to prey on whenever the chance arrives.
The fourth comes to Intiyar Empire ruled by Fox Empress Diana. The empire is mostly occupied with blacksmithing or anything related to weapons. Whether it is rune graving or artifact creation, Intiyar Empire has all to offer. Due to their conflicted kingdoms, the empress lost some potential warriors and thus dropped to fourth a century ago.
The third and second empires are ruled by two brothers who despite having a good relationship in front of the public, share a deep grudge against each other. The empire of Silvic and Asisilk is ruled by the mightiest of Felidae, Kalwar, and Imbiqan. The said two empires have the deadliest army whom the two brothers themselves groomed and tailor-made in order to snatch the whole world in their grasp and what they wanted.
If they had joined forces then it goes without saying, what would have been the situation in the realm but it was thanks to the first and the strongest kingdom in the west which has been maintaining the hierarchy and balancing the power among the continents in order to keep things peaceful.
The first empire, Barbatos, is ruled by the monkey supreme Ryuu who popped out suddenly hundreds of years ago and demolished the previous whole empire to form his own base and overwhelmed the other empires with his presence as well. For sure there were rebellions since beastmen love nothing more than the freedom to act on their will but the strength Ryuu portrayed in advocacy for his condition made the other four emperors nod their heads in affirmation.
They can’t practically go against the new emperor so they decided to be satisfied with the current system and strengthen themselves in order to take down the first empire that has been over their head yet not completely conquering them either. It was the worst feeling to realize how weak the other four were yet the first Emperor showed no sign of taking over the domain at all.
He wanted peace in the realm and so the others compiled.

“You have any idea why we are summoned so anonymously?”
Sitting inside a massive court, a white-furred creature that had a massive scar grown across his feline face and covering his left eye asked in a hushed tone as he sipped on his drink. His face resembled the animals that humans commonly known as tigers, but certainly, this one was larger and looked fiercer even though he was so calm at the moment.
“Since it is anonymous, do you think I would have any idea about it?”
Replied the beast sitting beside the questioner which had the same features as his brother except for the scar which was on his right eye yet almost identical. These were the two emperor brothers who were summoned to the court of Barbatos two days ago and naturally, they threw all the work they had to run all the way here.
A meeting of all the emperors does take place near the end of every year to discuss the current affairs and to hear if any unwanted issue has arisen. It goes without saying that all four continent leaders participate in the meeting and discuss the things they prepared beforehand with the empress of the Barbatos.
Yes, generally it was the empress of Barbatos and wife of Ryuu—Lady Sufiana—who deals with matters in her husband’s stead and whenever it feels the situation getting dire like the conflict between empires some decades ago, then only Sufiana contacts her husband.
No one has seen Ryuu since a hundred years ago when he came to resolve the situation between the third and fourth empires and settle down the upcoming circumstances of famine. After that, no one saw Ryuu in the entire realm and it was understandable since everyone knew Ryuu wasn’t from this realm, to begin with. Some thought he was god, some thought he was a devil with a mask but none had the capability to raise their voice so they shut themselves up and followed suit.
Suddenly the courtman thumped his broad-end staff on the ground as every eye fell on the entrance.
“Attention! The almighty Patriarch, who holds the powers of the heavens and capabilities to break hell, has arrived!”
Upon hearing the attendants cry everyone present in the court got up to kneel but as soon they realized what the man near the entrance announced, their eyes widened in shock and their jaws nearly dropped to the ground, as a mutual thought reverberated in each of their minds.
