Sweeping the whole team and most of them are unable to continue:

Hightown provide best opportunities to the aspiring hunters and let them chose one of the specific type of hunting for the present class. This means at each class the hunter can chose what type of hunting would benefit in level up and exploring the various parts of the continents. For example, there were those who chose to hunt in the desert, then they will be provided enough information and sources to face the desert monsters.
Still it was upto the choice of the hunter whether he was interested to choose the advantageous level up or the plain one where the hunter might not be able to finish the class tests as perfect as those who were habitual with diversity hunting.
A hunter cannot be called perfect hunter unless he was familiar with half of the monster's and their hunt. There was restrictions to become hunter King. The first one was to be part of the three schools of hunting, second was the hunter had had been clearing the previous class tests in perfect state, the third condition was to be at level nine primary, the fourth condition was to be able to hunter minimum four to five attribute types of monsters.
If a level nine hunter met these five restrictions then he could give test for the Hunter King. To be adorned with the mark of Hunter King was considered biggest achievement for many but one cannot give test for Hunter King if one has crossed one hundred years of age mark.
This was disappointing for many level eight and nine hunters because further levels were not cake time party to attain in limited time. Still there were accumulated around hundred Hunter Kings in the entire seven continents. Few were hidden and few were running the three schools of hunting.
Only tens of them were available for special and urgent quests. Since the Hunter King has also limit and got retire after reaching marked years of age.
To be a Hunter Monarch which was the last level in the history of the hunting and only one Hunter Monarch appears after two millennium. After the death of last Hunter Monarch no one claimed to be one until now. But the signs were saying that the world needed a Hunter Monarch soon, there were few parts which were being neglected or the available Hunter Kings has been defeated to kill the stronger monsters.
The need of having a Hunter Monarch was getting immense while it was not easy to be crowned as hunter Monarch. One should meet five restrictions or rules, first one that he should be at grade three in all four skills, for example he could rush faster than the wind; second one should at least be at the peak of level Nine; third requirement was that one should be able to defeat all types of attribute related monsters along with normal ones; fourth that he should defeat all the hunter Kings for the Monarch Test. Fifth and last, he should have tamed a monster which was unruly and strongest among all the rare races.
Almost all the restrictions were tough and hard to complete. The last one though few Hunter Kings has tamed beasts since they were determined to reach the untouched crown of being called as the Monarch of the world.

In the Hightown, Guilds were present but the popular thing was the Three Hunting Schools those were run by the Hunter Kings. Guilds has lesser importance and role in polishing the high level hunters in the Hightown while Hightown was the center of all strength in all seven continents, why? Because all big missions and quests were given permission from here.
And also those Hunter Kings also report what changes were happening in the abandoned places of the continents and what kind of measurements or precautions they could take to defeat some of the monsters living there.
Through their suggestions, the missions were finalized and sent. Though defeating does not meant much but it could stop the monster from further attaining levels and becoming stronger. The serious injuries take many months and during this the monster cannot think about to cultivate the hard nature.

The hunter who was standing at the surface tried to find the others and ran toward where they were being flooded by the monster. The monster was also breaking apart the straps from the mouth, it would just munch them like a meal.
"I am here, come at the surface." the hunter shouted nearing them. They heard and raised their hands. The hunter pulled one of them in hurry while the two were hit by the tail.
The monster would not let them escape unscathed. The strong tail smashed them hard and one of them almost lost senses. The second one swam inside the water to avoid the impact still he was affected harshly.
The one who lost senses was constantly dragged inside the water in depth. "Leader, one of the hunter is unconscious, should I jump?" the one who was only able to bring one of them outside voiced to the leader.
Leader heard and immediately ordered, "Don't waste time, hurry." his men were his source of strength and his team should not lose one life either.
The hunter jumped following the dim light of the communication stone and reached the man by swimming faster than the usual.
The monster was able to break the mouth traps by now and can feel the left side flipper was hurting.
The one who was now at the surface called the other hunter, now he was here to help his team members. The hunter who was barely keeping control on his senses raised up his hand to tell that he was there.
The man pulled him outside from the lake. Two of them were still missing.
The monster was not worried about the strap at the flipper, it could still move freely unless it decide to ascend and destroy the bridge. "Leader, two of them are still in the range of the monster, what should we do?" the hunter asked. He was worried because he was feeling their presence around the monster and that the monster could also feel how to injure them.
The big mouth and a single attack was enough to send them at the path of death. The only way was to hurry and distract the monster from attacking them.
The leader was still healing and have no clue what condition they were currently inside the water and he stood up, the wound was not healed, the bleeding stopped though. Waiting was not the right choice, "Were you able to injure any part of it?" he hurriedly asked the one who survived the ordeal just now.
"The left flipper is injured at this moment and it is constantly weakening by bleeding." the hunter reported. "Alright, sense the presence of the monster and attack the flipper from the surface, use the chain to land on its body and do not waste any moment after attack. This way the monster cannot do anything but to appear on the surface."
He was the last one to stand on the surface and holding the strap which the two hunters were using as chain to reach the monster. The monster was not in the depth of lake nor at the surface but at the middle, opening big mouth to take inside both hunters who were helpless at this moment.
If they were in good condition they might have chosen to attack but one was holding the other who was unconscious, if he let him aside for attack then he would fell in the dark depth of the lake.
The monster was contented that at least two were going to be killed, this would decrease the numbers of its enemies. By supported each other, one of the hunter landed on the body of the monster and recklessly stabbed the sword at the injured flipper.
If it was a part which was not injured before, the monster might have neglected but it was agonizing to shook away the attack. The opened jaw almost omitted back the big amount of water immediately. The teeth injured the one conscious in the meantime.
The hunter was about to let go the unconscious hunter and bring the sword to stop the mouth from hunting him more when he noticed that monster suddenly changed the direction and left them there.
It seemed a battle of fate where humans were recklessly struggling against the monster.
