The newcomer and his backing
After a long a distance they were standing in front of the entrance. The grand entrance presents the vibes of the strong hold of every block in its own space. Everything was in organized manner. The hunters who came in these two days were enrolling for the proper classes. The elders took their standard tests and then they registered them. It was the regular procedure for every hunter referred by the reputed guilds. There was some exception. With the consent of the Rank Masters the elders created this exception for some of the hunters.
Some of the hunters were eligible to enroll direct Test Trials for the Class Badge. The Class Badge states the position of the hunter in the Hunting School. The elder saw a level eight peak hunter and stood up. "Did the Rank Master send some instruction?" Coming of a higher level hunter in the Hunting School was taken as the new order of the Rank Master. "Not really; I was here with my brother here. He wants Test Trails for the Enrollment. I hope few more slots are in reserved?" Dachin asked. The elder looked at the hunter. Qiao was only level five peak and those who wished to skip the standard procedure should necessarily be level six primary.
"This…" he scrutinized the hunter from head to toe. There was shapeless weapon in his left hand; the second weapon was hanging on his back and from the looks it was the rumored sword of ages. He fell in dilemma what to answer. There were sure capable hunters. "For this the hunter needed to answer some of the questions in front of the elders." The elder nodded and gestured toward where three elders were sitting across the table. They were here to enroll the new hunters.
"Qiao I will go back now; from here it is your responsibility to pass the test." Dachin patted the shoulders of the young hunter and went back. Qiao was grateful that the senior showed the path and brought him here. He walked toward the elder and stood in front of them after greeting. "Young man we need to make sure that you are familiar with the required information. You are given exception because a level higher hunter is at your backing it means you must have learned much from your family of hunters." The elder gestured him to sit in front.
As for why he stated 'Family of Hunters' because the higher level hunter called him brother. No one call another hunter brother without good relation. "I am prepared please proceed." Qiao spoke respectfully. He was excited what they were about to ask hoping that it should be under his information list. "If you are surrounded with the monsters when out in the forest for mission. What will you choose whether to abandon the rest of team members or help them escape as well?" the first elder asked the first question. Three elders were here for three different types of questions. The answer of the hunter will let them decide whether they would enroll him or not.
Qiao thought for a moment and spoke, "It depends on the situation. If the team members intentionally harnessed or triggered many monsters without forming a plan then I would not struggle to help them because this kind of behavior is prohibited in the team collaboration. No matter if it is team leader he should foretell his plan or whatever trap he was planning to avoid the sudden confusion as well earning the trust of the team members. Without trust no one will be willing render his life for incapable hunters." His tone was not high or haughty instead a determined and firm pitch.
The elders squinted brows but nodded. The young hunter was fair in this answer. The way he explained was enough to let them understand his point why he would abandon them. They also prefer hunters who rationally decide rather than keep stubborn attitude in the peril situation. If they were asked whether they would follow behind a dumb team leader then their answer would be no different than the hunter. It seemed the young hunter passed the first question.
"My question is what you would prefer completing a mission or solving a personal grudge in the open territory?" The second elder asked another different question. One could easily tell why this type of question was asked but a normal hunter cannot tell the reason behind as to what the elders want from a hunter. The order of the Hightown was superior all the way not the personal grudges of the hunters. "I would complete the mission at any cost because completing a mission meant keeping the peace for hundreds of normal humans. So my option would be to secure the normal humans rather than satisfy my personal grudge." Qiao has seen several real interviews of big companies and what type of questions and they ask.
The purpose of these questions was to test the mentality of the contestant. The interviewer asked such questions whether the contestant has complete control on his senses or what would be his choice in a time of chaos whether the contestant could prove beneficial for the company. There was some information which could not be added because of bundle of information stocking to be imparted. Qiao was still sitting confident. "Young man you are selected for the enrollment test. There are some other requirement which the senior would guide you from here." The third elder gestured him pleasantly. Their task was to test the fortitude of the hunter whether he deserve to be added in the exception list and this young man seemed already qualify for the test. They were happy for the first time to interview a hunter. Mostly hunters were plain and unmannered while giving the answers though they cared the position of the elders while speaking. It was refreshing to meet the young blood full of enthusiasm.
As for whether he can pass the real test was up to him. The Hightown was always welcoming for all enthusiastic hunters. They were provided chances to prove the worth.

There was not much time remained and the competition would be tough as always. There was another fresh adding that his friend was always rolling for these trials. Before he could enter his lodge someone bothered him with his aura. Rumble happened to see him walking toward the lodge and came to say hello. Well it might not be a friendly hello. "Did you forget your buddy?" Rumble snickered furiously looking at the hunter who betrayed them. "I never forget my friends as well as enemies. You say why you came to bother?" Dachin gritted his teeth and his hanging chains produced screeching voice. These chains were the weapon of the hunter so whenever he gets furious his weapon show the loyalty that it was also furious. The weapons of higher level hunters were considered unusual. This was true. The weapons bear the aura of the hunter and they follow the orders of the master. "I came to remind you that brother Rucha will be looking for you soon. Be ready to face his wrath." Rumble shook his face as if threatening the hunter. "Let him come and see what he gets in return." Dachin answered and then his eyes fell at the back. A Rank Master was coming toward him.
Rumble turned and greeted the senior. He can no more threaten the hunter in presence of the Rank Master so he went away sneaking the hunter and glaring. "Dachin it is good that you are here. The fresh dates of the trials are available. If you are ready this time then do enroll in the Second Tower in the next week." The rank Master handed him the paper. They became buddies so the Rank Master personally same to see him.
"Thank you for your favor. I will do appear there in the Second Tower then." It was good news for Dachin. One week was enough to find a beast and tame.
