He liked it when he find himself inside a new territory and oblivious of the incoming events.
For others it might not be as welcoming but for Qiao it differs. Knowing things beforehand just ruin the surprise of challenges in his view. Nevertheless his attention was fixated for the limited actions and one of them well formed already; it was hunting. The limitations did not actually hinder him exploring this world. He was free willed in his actions many times. Not roaming for hunting in a fixed place was also part of his exploration. The only thing which disturbed him once or twice was the thought about the wicked hunter. He seriously wanted to know his strength and power or what he could expect in a face to face duel.
They were sure going to face each other soon. There was no doubt about it but the question was how the things would unfold. How many attack type or defense type stones would be enough for the duel? Or there no need for it all? Finding answers of these questions was impossible unless the day comes in front of him answering by itself. He found few things incredible when fighting against hunters twice or thrice. Battling against hunters completely differed from battling with the monsters.
From conscious and intentional act of attack toward the real defense against the attack everything gave off different vibes. One could imagine the aura of the opponent when it happened to be monster in front however the opponent hunter felt like silent poison rarely seeping the aura for a moment. The aura was also used as weapon and on will. At least the hunter cannot tell the next action of the opponent and it made Qiao worried. He has also level six aura which he did not let loose until now. He could expect similar surprises when facing the wicked hunter or perhaps if he was fortunate then ending up stronger enemies and facing them in the higher levels might definitely help him understand how things work.
For this reason Qiao planned to not let go single enemy from no. He was not supposed to take same decision when leveling under level five; he might have faced severe backlash and destroyed long ago. Qiao stood and took deep breath; fresh flow of oxygen revived his senses. He was sure that it was oxygen; what else he could name it. Trees were surrounding him; there was not a single commercial factory emitting out the poisonous gases or chemicals. So in his view the oxygen was garden-fresh giving some sort of strength.
Qiao was about to gesture his team for searching a monster; he spotted a group of monsters pacing very calculative toward unknown destiny. Golden Feather monsters were on their way toward the open stream. They were very arrogant about their beautiful looks. "Oh my ancestors; can a monster be this beautiful?" Kaili gasped. She might have spoken loud however Lama Lu put her hand on her lips gesturing not to commit stupidity.
Not just the feathers bear the golden lines on them in fact the top of head has some sort of resembling crown. It was golden in color. The overall body of the Golden Feather Monsters happened to be snow white. It can be labeled another level of beauty about this special race of monsters. They were walking like goose and resembled with the said bird other than the golden crown and the golden feather lines. Qiao was about to call it goose however the size differed too. These monstrous geese bear the size of biggest ape perhaps eventually letting the Golden Feather monsters show some arrogance against others. Adding these monsters in the beast territory add to their strength in the long run.
After reaching level eight; their feathers would be strong enough carry the burden of the huge monster. The skin of these monsters was sought after because the wealthy and haughty hunters liked to wear fleeces made of its skin. The hunters and huntresses liked the naturally carved golden lines on it. "I can tell hunting this monster would be challenge." Kala expressed his concern. They were looking toward the team leader now. From his curious expressions there was no need in asking anything.
They could tell that team leader was fascinating the next steps and the possible hunting method. 'I should get ready for the death' Kaili thought in her head. She was already worried and here the monsters were in a group no matter which of them they come across it was bound. Lama Lu got excited to see the monster. It was more than a challenge however the experience would exceed definitely. They were gaining fifty experience points with every hunt until now. This was the normal distribution of the experience points.
"Where they are heading? Are they leaving this part? Are we going to chase?" Kaili asked in one go. One could notice her nervousness. "We will be using the normal method; why you asking by the way?" Qiao side sneaked her actions. For some time he had the gesture that she might run away from the team however it did not happen. She was here and asking about the next steps. 'Is she afraid of going against my orders?' Qiao asked in his head. The answer does not differ though. 'He was making others fear of him; or it was temporary?' he thought about it seriously and wanted to know.
If the hunters start fearing his presence then it would bring some benefits at least in case bunch of hunters spread rumors about him for example how ruthless he happened to be? Well it would not tarnish his reputation in the Hunting School because the elders of the hunting schools demand proof of rumors and probably no one can provide it. "This will be my attention from now on; let the others fear I." he murmured under his breath that no one could hear him. Qiao cleared his thought and spoke grimly, "What other method you have in your head?" He directly asked the girl.
"Mm I only know how to save life in case of danger." She spoke hesitating. Qiao was shocked at her answer, "What; do you mean that you will run off when the other get caught in dangerous situation?" His tone was not of surprise instead authoritative and not believing at her answer. "I… I would not do so if it is against your rules in the team." She hurriedly tried clearing the confusion however it added to her misery. This was straight informing that she might have done the same if she was not asked earlier.
"Since I cannot believe mere words; you will prove it." Qiao waved his hand. "There can be times during the hunt when without your utmost effort the team would not be able to tackle the crises; what will you do, let us witness." Qiao voiced and gestured them to follow behind. They were moving after the Golden Feather Monsters. The monsters reached the stream. The stream water was clear and has the depth of minimum four meter that the monster could easily swim in it. These monster were not here for swimming though instead for hunting the water creatures for filling their stomach.

They dug out and gulped the creatures in one go. After eating it to the fill the first one tried flying toward the direction however after closing small distance it fell away from the stream. The second monster ate its fill and did the same. It seemed they practice it in their morning routine. The last monster was left behind. Qiao gestured Kala. He immediately fell in front of the monster.
Kala was confident at whatever order team leader passed to him; he will save him no matter what. Qiao voiced. "See your team member is in danger; go and save him." His words heard everyone. Lama Lu was standing agape; Kala shook his head in great despair, if this girl was supposed to save then only ancestors could forgive his mistake for jumping in front of the monster. Kaili stood frozen on her spot. This team leader was bent on to witness a proof of her loyalty. She held sword in her hand and walked forward.
