Level Battles 33

The beasts could fly and Lam was well aware that's why it was standing near a suspected hill. According to its senses one or two beasts were hidden behind waiting for the monsters. Lam was holding breath so that any moment it would leap at the target.

Knowing that Lam was sincere in leveling, he casted his glance at the huge numbers of the monsters coming in his view slowly. He could see the severity of his mission and single mistake could ruin his reputation. He had been working for his reputation to get recommendations and exceptions which he met eventually.

Now the tough missions started to test his grounds. He knew that the elders of the Hightown were keeping eyes at his progress and he was supposed to give his best. This mission of the migration was tough regarding how the monsters should be traveling between six islands under the threat of the beast attacks.

Anything was expected. He could see that It was not tough for Hightown to send single Hunter King and make the migration secure. Hunter Kings possessed tamed beasts. They could fly over and stay the beasts away with the help of the powerful stones.

Sending him for the mission was no more suspicious act. The Hightown was about to hand him over a biggest Class Test mission where it involved the stakes of the Hightown. The elders wanted him to kill a disloyal Hunter King hiding among the beasts in the North Sepedra the second part of the Sepedra continent.

At the same in the Guild grounds:

A woman was running behind young huntress. The age difference was there however one could in a single glance that the older woman was mother and the younger being daughter. The daughter was crying and running away from her mother.

Qiao could tell who the young huntress was. Lowa came to know that her father was alive. Her mother huntress broke this news recently however she warned her to not meet him. "They are mistaken. Do you wanted to say that the blood running in my body is disloyal? I would not accept it. I will go and search my father. I am sure he is in big trouble." Lowa wiped her tears and spoke determined.

The huntress was disappointed at her determination. Lowa was never this stubborn. She never disagreed on anything before this. Her resolution was bringing worry for her mother because her cousin who was elder of the guild told about the recent reports. The Hightown was searching this hunter from previous ten years.

"The Hightown would not accept this present behavior of yours." Mother spoke worried. Lowa was the only child and she treasured her. She was equally hurt knowing that her husband became disloyal against the Hightown. Her love for her husband immediately turned in to hatred after she confirmed the reports.

She traveled long journey to reach her daughter in the Guild to stop her from any stupid decision. But seeing that Lowa was equally stubborn just like her mother back then in her youth; she sighed purely. "I would not go with you. Don't blame anyone if your broke your trust at some point. I do not have much strength left to stop you anymore." Her mother uttered exhausted.

"I will come back with my father and tell these elders that he is not disloyal." Lowa spoke determined and left the grounds of the guild. Her mother saw her disappearing stature and few drops of tears fell from her eyes. She was sure that she might not be able to see her daughter ever again but because she cannot side with her disloyal husband she did not accompany her daughter. Searching him and only finding about his shortcoming would kill her several times before the actual death.

The elder of the Hightown came to know that he turned disloyal and told some secrets to the beasts and now currently leading one den of the beasts. It was dangerous and frightful. This news brought chaos for the Hightown and the Rank Masters. Now they were bent on to kill the disloyal at any cost.

For this they chose unknown yet ambitious hunter; unknown because it had been merely few weeks that he showed up in the reports of the elders. This was beneficial to send some hunter who has no open records. Since he leveled up faster so they were curious what level of strength and loyalty he hold for the Hightown.

With this Test Trial he might get the recognition as the Hunter King. It entirely depended on his success. The monsters were walking through the second island and half of them were agitated for the fear of the beasts. There was visible disturbance. Lam immediately leapt at one beast that showed up at the fastest pace possible.

The beasts were casting glances after knowing that hunters were present in the surrounding and guarding this migration. Lam did not give warning also it did not let single chance for the beast to fly away. Its sharp teeth dug deep in the flesh of the beast and tore apart big piece of flesh. Qiao took a look and activated his stone.

Lam was busy so there was threat that another beast might attack at his loyal monster. The activated stone ensured the safety. Another activated stone was guarding the flocks of the monsters. Qiao was known for his risk taking nature. At many places he refuted the norms and tried terrible choices nonetheless coming out successful. Without risk it was impossible to know the limits of the human grit.

Two stones were active. The monsters could see a hunter standing at the hill. They were sure that the elders would send team for this migration. Just that they were worried that perhaps this time for a second time the hunters might fail to stop the beasts.

Qiao was alert more than ever. The active stone attacked second beast when it was ready to attack Lam. Lam finished first meal in hurry. The beasts of level seven or under were not big in stature because it would hinder their flight. Only after level eight they could get the full stature and the form of horrible beast.
