Qiao surveyed the area but could not spot Lam anywhere. He was running towards the next hill. The monsters crossed half of the area under the second island. Qiao rushed and secured the next threat points. The near hills were beaming with the presence of the hidden beasts. He could not find whereabouts of the loyal monster.

Slowly his worry was increasing with the time stopped at some frame. His attention was divided looking at the moving monsters; keeping the beasts away from the migration and worrying for the loyal monster. The weather was still dull however the winds started to add the dryness.

Initially it was not troublesome but the weather turned intense sluggishly. Dry dust added along with the dried out leaves flying here and there at the mercy of the wind. His fleece fluttered with the wind and the clean hair got dusty with the dusty air. Qiao was moving his hands and guiding his stones to not waste single moment or leave any open spot for the beasts.

The changed weather forced monsters to walk faster and leave the territory of the second island. Qiao rushed to another hill killing beasts in his way. The beasts were no more hopeful in getting their hands on the targets.

The day was near end. The monsters were about to cross the last part of the second island. They gathered in a place and decided to attack at once with all force. The wind was getting stronger and it was difficult to stand firm. Dust was scattering limiting the view of surrounding.

Qiao was caught in serious situation. Fortunately the monsters were not terrified by the changed circumstances. They were leaving the last part in hurry. The beasts gathered in a group and came surrounding from every side. They were annoyed and wanted to get back at the hunter.

Qiao saw them gathering around and shook his head. He was worried for his loyal monster and here these beasts wanted to waste his precious time. The winds turned in to wind storm along with the dust and the broken dried leaves.

The beasts were very glad that the hunter was caught in trouble now they could easily attack them. The weather did not create trouble for them because they could use their feathers against the wind. Qiao took last look at the leaving monsters. He was at ease that the monsters finally crossed second island without any big trouble.

Well biggest trouble was lurking around him. He could see the rage filled eyes of the beasts. They wanted to tear him apart in pieces to vent out their hatred. The numbers were increasing soon he was surrounded completely. Few of the beasts attacked at him; at the same time they heard blood curdling echo coming toward them with the thunder pace.

Qiao was also shocked. He intended to command his stone and escape from the raged beasts. Killing them recklessly was not his way of dealing things. These beasts were angry at him however if he escaped they would not be able to chase behind that's why killing them was useless in his view.

He could easily escape from their circle nevertheless he was not willing to leave before searching Lam. A big feathers creature leapt toward the beasts at the same time. The newly tear opened skin was seeping blood. The three dots on the neck appeared three eyes.

The overall skin color changed in the deep blue. The green circles became the outline of the feathers. Qiao barely noticed in the wind storm and recognized Lam. He completely forgot that beasts were in the middle of attacking at him.

Lam leapt with bloodshot eyes and tore apart the attacking beasts. It was going through the ordeal of transformation however not completely unaware about the tough time of the master. Qiao used his both hands and commanded his tones clearing the dusty wind to have a clear view of the transformed rare monster.

The beasts were late to react. Lam killed half of them and only stopped when Qiao gestured to halt this slaughter. The beasts were initially raged and angry at the hunter nevertheless seeing that he was the one to save their lives they returned with the dazed expressions. They hide behind the hills.

Lam landed on the ground. Qiao was looking at the loyal monster. He was pleasantly shocked that the monster immediately listened to his order. Lam lowered its head in front of the master. "You are looking overbearing. I am glad that you leveled up. I think you should clean this blood first." Qiao was glad truly.

The monster nodded its huge head and used its feathers for blocking wind. Qiao side smiled. This monster was acting like possessive girlfriend but he liked the level of loyalty. They walked towards where the monsters were heading.

The two teams were also following to lead the migration. The two towns at the other side of the second island were worried for any horrible event. The day was ending without ruckus and it assured them that they were saved.

The team members heard many attacks. They were ready for any mishap however the active team leader seemed reaching everywhere in the blink of eye and killing beasts as if he was their death apparition. "How is your condition?" Qiao asked when they were walking in the middle of the storm. He was not going to ask for a ride from the loyal monster.

"I am still going through inner changes. Meat of few beasts would help stable the present condition. But I would not leave my master alone this time." Lam was determined. Qiao nodded. He was also thinking the same looking at the unclear advanced transformation. From appearance it looked incomplete.

"I am the last monster of my race in the South Sepedra. I don't know if my race existed in other parts of the continents. However no matter if I found some den I would not leave my master till death." Lam spread its feathers and blocked strong winds from every side for the master.
