Their eyes were flickering light in the darkness similar of small and dim light source. Those nearing the fissures did not close eyes or sleep. They were alert for the toil of the migration. Their habitat in the next territory was better home in the winters because it has several underground caves. The winter snow or the harshness remained at the surface and these monsters could spend this time in leveling up.
Qiao let the loyal buddy rest for a while and he was jumping between the groups of the monsters. He was going to see the four hunters at the upfront. After a full fledge burdensome day and the work, he was going to meet them and ask if they need anything or any help.
His job was to run the team and secure the migration so he thought that it would be safe for the normal hunters to lead the migration while he would be facing the beasts hence beasts were the only threat for now.
He reached the group of four hunters. They were sitting at the edge of mount, looking at the tired monsters. The whole day they were leading the migration without worry of the beasts. If they happened to be in the middle they might have heard the lashes of the attacks during the day. "I hope the day peaceful?" Qiao asked bringing vague smile. "Indeed the migration was peaceful. We are confident that the next day will be equally smooth going." The hunter that broke his jaw in the previous confrontation stood up and answered immediately.
Qiao nodded, "You will follow me tomorrow. There should be one or two hunters helping the monsters not to fell in the fissures during journey." The hunter listened this and his broken jaw almost fell again. Qiao talked with other hunters and advised to remain alert and guide the migration as before. He then returned with the hunter.
The hunter was level seven peak and he could rush between the monsters and the groups helping them from the fissures. Qiao was taking this aspect his considering for strong reason. In his eyes if half of the monsters fell in the fissures during journey then it would not be called successful migration.
"Do you know about this third island something that I should be aware of?" Qiao asked the hunter who was silently following him behind. The hunter coughed, "The native hunters told that the threat in the third island is double fold because the boundary line breaded level seven beasts. Though the beasts never attacked on the Nest however they will attack on the migration." The hunter told what he heard from other three native hunters.
The beasts preferred not to cross the whole island and tickle the Nest for no special reason; they rather focus on the availability of the fresh food. Qiao heard understood. The third island was going to be tough not just for the fissures but the presence of stronger beasts.
They were in the middle when Qiao noticed the other four hunters leaving for the other side of the island to secure the nest with his orders. He called out them. They stopped knowing that it was team leader. Qiao gestured the affiliated hunter to come back and ordered others to work with all their efforts for the safety of the Nest.
He intended to keep these both affiliated hunters at the place where the threat could originate and ruin the mission. He could guide them so that the threat should remain under their control. This second hunter was saved from falling in the depths of the fissures therefore he was wholeheartedly sincere to fulfill the orders of the team leader.
