Vanessa looked at the different dishes prepared on the table and asked, " You cook so much, is there something to celebrate?"
Yanna responded with a bright smile,
" Well, Melody just moved into the nearby apartment, and it seems that Lanice came to help her. So, to thank Lanice and to welcome Melody to the neighborhood, I thought I might as well prepare a small celebration. What do you think?"
Observing Yanna's radiant smile, Vanessa swallowed her words. She had actually expected to have some time alone with Yanna, but she didn't expect Yanna to prepare a welcome party for Melody so soon after she moved in.
Vanessa asked, " That's fine. Have you messaged them?"
Yanna replied, " Yes, I asked Lanice. She said she and Melody will come later," as she glanced at her watch.
Vanessa looked at the table, feeling helpless, and then gazed at Yanna bustling around in the kitchen. She decided to order some wine and desserts. Suddenly, she remembered Fiona, who had been of great help to them. Vanessa went to the kitchen and leaned against the door, watching Yanna clean.
She asked, " Honey, what about Fiona?"
Yanna responded, " I already asked her, but she hasn't replied yet. Why don't you give her a call?"
" Okay. By the way, I ordered wine and some desserts. " Vanessa agree
" Alright, I'll go change first,"
" Good."
After Yanna went upstairs, Vanessa proceeded to call Fiona.
"Did you miss me?" Fiona asked as soon as she answered Vanessa's call.
"Yanna has prepared a small celebration for Melody at home. Are you coming or not?" asked Vanessa, disregarding Fiona's nonsense.
Fiona raised her eyebrows as if she had discovered something. "You mean you're still with Yanna?"
"So what?" Vanessa responded lazily.
"Are you two dating?" Fiona asked without holding back, displaying her curiosity without beating around the bush.
"Well... guess... are you coming or not?" Vanessa asked again.
" You're no fun at all.. I'll come. I miss her already anyway~," Fiona says playfully, trying to provoke Vanessa.
Vanessa hung up the phone, frowning, thinking if Fiona is really interested in Yanna. However, she quickly realized that Fiona seems to be more attentive to Melody than to Yanna.
Yanna walks downstairs just in time to see Vanessa frowning. "What's wrong?" Yanna asked.
Vanessa looks at Yanna and was stunned. Yanna is wearing a simple lavender colored dress, which showcases her white shoulders and collarbone. Her long black hair is braided, with a few strands framing her face, perfectly complementing her warm and gentle temperament.
Although she has been with Yanna for a while and knows that she has changed a lot, she still can't help but be amazed at how beautiful Yanna is compared to before.
Yanna stands in front of Vanessa, seeing her not answering her, she can't help but chuckle and ask ," look good?"
"Yeah," Vanessa answered unconsciously then she came back from her senses
Yanna smile put her arm around Vanessa's waist and took her in her arms then she whispered like a gentle wind," I'm yours~,"
Vanessa felt as if she had been electrocuted and couldn't help but put her arms around Yanna's neck to support herself. She could hear the sound of her own heartbeat growing louder at that moment. She buried her face in Yanna's neck from shyness, but Yanna's smell took her attention this time. She couldn't help but have some other thoughts, and she could feel herself getting hot.
Yanna looked tenderly at the person in her arms, who appeared shy and could see her blushing. She couldn't help but compare Vanessa's previous aloofness to her current blushing state. Yanna pinched Vanessa's slim waist unconsciously and heard her let out a seductive groan. Yanna's mind went blank, and she felt that something inside her had been provoked by Vanessa.
Vanessa felt itchy in her waist; she looked aggrievedly at Yanna and wanted to scold her, but Yanna didn't give her time to say anything. She was kissed by Yanna, who seemed to be thirsty for her kisses, which caught her off guard. She could feel her own strength leaving her body as they kissed, and she couldn't help but take a step back until she stood against the wall. Vanessa closes her eyes and doesn't care anymore, forgetting her concerns and just wanting to indulge with Yanna.
It looks like a long time, but everything only takes a few minutes before the sweet and romantic moment is broken by a doorbell.
Yanna came back to her senses when she heard the doorbell and blush when she noticed her hand touching something soft. She took a step back and didn't know what to do. This is her first time to lose control of herself.
Vanessa who heard the doorbell, for the first time wanted to curse but her upbringing stopped her from doing so, she noticed Yanna's movement looking at her hand then she remembered Yanna's touch, she blush but then immediately fixed her dress and hair remembering there's people outside.
" .. I'll open the door," Vanessa says then immediately went to the door
Yanna closed her eyes and took a deep breath, when she opened her eyes she came back to her normal self as if she's not the one who got flustered a moment ago. She take a step and follow Vanessa to welcome the visitor.
