The thunderstorm lasted for almost a week as the sun hid under the thick clouds, leaking not a trace of warm light.

Using the excuse that he was afraid of thunder, Pei Lu cheekily took over half of Li Jun’s bed.

Li Jun’s bed was very comfortable and Li Jun, this human-shaped pillow, was also very warm. Pei Lu slept very well every day!

The only bad thing was that he felt as if he was suffering from excessive internal heat[1]

Every morning, his lips were a little swollen and his tongue was also a little ulcerated. Pei Lu scrunched his face as he brushed his teeth and the white foam surrounded his lips like a white beard.

Li Jun was right next to him, standing side by side with him brushing his teeth.

That was right, Pei Lu had packed his little baggage from the guest room into Li Jun’s bedroom! As a pure great magician[2], Pei Lu didn’t feel that anything was wrong with a lamb entering a tiger’s den[3]; he was even complacent!

He bragged to 666, “This time, didn’t I get close to the target particularly fast?! Soon I will become Li Jun’s life coach, taking him away from the shadows to create a better tomorrow!”

“Hehe……” 666 gave a laugh of unknown meaning.

Pei Lu’s chrysanthemum[4] tightened. 666’s sudden cold attitude made him feel very insecure, “Aren’t you going to say anything?”

666 gave a cold smile, “Good luck, life coach.”

Pei Lu: “……” How come your words sound more wrong the more I think about it?

Pei Lu dwelled on the matter for less than two seconds before he became happy again, leaving eccentric 666 behind.

The three days of leave requested with the counselor have all been used up. Plus with the two days from the weekend, Pei Lu had a whole five days off. During this period, the Meng family couple had gone to his school to find him several times, but all to no avail. Meng Xiaoyue’s father, although annoyed, didn’t know where to find him so he could only head back in indignation.

These were what 666 told him during his free time as he was waiting for the advertisements to pass. Recently, 666 became addicted to family ethics drama. He especially liked the kind of extreme relatives-suffering-from-defeat troupe and he even vividly described them to Pei Lu.

Pei Lu summed it up in one sentence: the crisis was lifted.

He could finally go back to school with confidence.

Packing up his clothes when he got back to the bedroom, Pei Lu then got his backpack ready to head back to school.

Li Jun silently followed him, just like a piece of dog skin plaster. The air pressure around this dog skin plaster was still very low and it looked very unhappy.

The insensitive Pei Lu hummed his way downstairs, not feeling anything wrong at all.

“Uncle Wang, I’m going back to school.” Pei Lu smiled as he spoke to Uncle Wang, with whom he had become very familiar over the past few days.

“Ah, then I’ll ask the driver to send you,”

Pei Lu waved his hand, “No need.” After that he turned his head to Li Jun, who was also following him, “I’m going back to school now, see you the day after tomorrow~”

Tomorrow, Pei Lu had a whole day of classes so he won’t be coming over. He would come over only when there were no classes, which was the day after tomorrow.

Li Jun pursed his lips and then followed him without saying a word.

“Eh?” Noticing another person following behind him, Pei Lu turned around and asked dumbfoundedly, “Why are you following me out? No need to send me, go back quickly.”

“……” Li Jun was expressionless, “I’m also going.”

“Going where?” Pei Lu still wasn’t aware of the situation and continued to ask dumbfoundedly.

In his impression, Li Jun had never been out of the door. He still hadn’t reacted to the idea that Li Jun wanted to go to school with him.

“School.” Li Jun forced the bag from his back over and swung it over his own back, urging, “Go.”

“……”

And so Pei Lu inexplicably went back to school with a large human-shaped pendant.

Speaking of which, Li Jun was also a student at Y University. However, during the time that Pei Lu had been his tutor, he hadn’t seen him out of the Li family’s door. Now that he had actually followed him out by himself, Pei Lu was still a little apprehensive, “Leaving just like this…..would you be alright?”

Li Jun gave him a strange look, “No worries.”

“Oh.” Pei Lu responded and he had nothing else to say.

He urgently called 666 in his head, “666, 666! I need help![5]

666 was so engrossed in watching his drama that he ignored him.

Pei Lu was not happy. He laughed maliciously and used the authority of the AI monitor to cut off 666’s internet.

666: “!!!!!!!”

666 replied gloomily, “You are going to get f*ck like this, I’m telling you :)”

Pei Lu was smug, “Who told you to ignore me.”

“……” 666 was on the verge of a rampage and his tone of voice became more and more gloomy, “What do you want?”

Pei Lu gently scratched his face, inexplicably feeling a bit of a Qi deficiency, “I think Li Jun is a bit off……say, don’t you think he’s very off?”

666 sneered, “I see that you are the one that’s very off.”

“……” Pei Lu was not convinced, “Why are you AIs so vindictive……quickly, help me analyze. I just think he has been strange lately. ” And he couldn’t say specifically where he was strange.

666 cursed silently; Of course he would feel strange since his chrysanthemum had been targeted. However, he also remembered the hatred of being disconnected from the internet so he simply would not tell him! Instead, he fooled Pei Lu with a straight face, “I don’t think so, dear~ I think he’s been very normal. Are you sure you’re not thinking too much because you’ve been too idle?~”

“……” Pei Lu wanted to say that he was wrong, but could not find a reason to refute. In the end, he could only shut his mouth aggrievedly.

666 said especially gently, “Dear, connect me to the internet. If you don’t need me, I’m going to hang up~”

Pei Lu could only connect him back to the internet again.

666 finally had a more sincere smile and said to Pei Lu from the bottom of his heart, “Good luck, dear~”

Pei Lu: “……”

On the way back to the dormitory, the two people attracted a lot of attention.

Li Jun was tall and handsome while Pei Lu was civilized and clean. Walking together, their auras were unexpectedly harmonious. Even if the distance between the two was still separated by the size of two fists, it stilled looked like a scene full of gayness.

Pei Lu led the young master Li back to the dormitory under the strange gazes.

Y University’s dormitory had a good environment. They were all rooms for two people. Fortunately, his other roommate had not returned yet so it was only them in the dormitory room.

The dormitory had beds on top and cabinets underneath. The upper bunk was for the students to sleep and the lower bunk was for a desk and a closet. Pei Lu cleared the books on the desk and told Li Jun to sit down.

Li Jun obediently sat down and his eyes scanned the surroundings without moving.

Pei Lu was still rummaging around looking for disposable cups but after searching for half a day, he still wasn’t able to find any. In the end, he poured water with a cup he didn’t use often and was a bit embarrassed to hand it to Li Jun, “There are no disposable cups in the dormitory, I drank from this cup once, if you don’t mind……”

“Don’t mind.” Li Jun interrupted him and took the cup from his hand. Casting his eyes down, he took a sip of water.

Pei Lu: It was that weird feeling again QAQ

After drinking water, Li Jun still held on to the cup and his fingers slowly rubbed over it. How to describe the action? He couldn’t say that there was a problem, but Pei Lu constantly felt a fear surfacing in his heart. He felt that the object Li Jun had touched was more than just that cup.

“In fact, this is all for a dormitory. There really isn’t anything to see.” Pei Lu brought up a random topic, forcing the start of an awkward conversation.

“It’s quite nice.” The corners of Li Jun’s mouth hooked up. His eyes swept across the opposite bunk and his chin pointed in said direction, “Another person?”

“Mnn. He seemed to be a senior from the second year of study. He rarely comes back.”

“Mnn.” Li Jun nodded his head in understanding and stopped talking once again.

“……” Pei Lu felt so awkward that he was about to cry. Young master, you are difficult to communicate with. It was impossible to keep a conversation going.

Ten minutes passed by in silence.

Pei Lu had drunk at least five cups of water, went to the toilet three times, and was fidgeting, as if he had grown hemorrhoids.

And Li Jun did not move; still steady as a mountain.

Pei Lu couldn’t hold back anymore and continued to chat awkwardly, “That……you’re still not heading back?” He pointed out the window, “It’s going to be dark soon, I’ll give Uncle Wang a heads up and let the driver come pick you up.”

“……” Li Jun stared at him deeply. After a while, just as Pei Lu felt that he was going to be burned by his gaze, he said, “I’m not going back. I’m going to sleep with you.”

Meow meow meow?[6] Pei Lu suspected that he had tinnitus and asked uncertainly, “What did you just say?”

Li Jun had to repeat it again, “I’m not going back. I’m going to sleep with you.”

“……” Pei Lu, “Oh.”

666’s words suddenly flashed through his mind.

666 said, good luck……

So when they reached school, they still slept together. Only the location changed from Li Jun’s KING SIZE bed to Pei Lu’s 1.2 meter small steel bed.

The 1.2 meter bed was not big, but it was more than enough even with the two people lying side by side. Most of the pillow was given to Li Jun and Pei Lu could only humbly occupy the little bit of pillow on the edge.

Because of an inexplicable sense of crisis in his heart, he instinctively stuck close to the wall and shrunk himself into a small ball.

“Good night.” He closed his eyes and fell asleep after he finished speaking.

In the darkness, Li Jun opened his eyes wide and stared at him greedily with his eyes licking his face back and forth. After Pei Lu fell asleep, he grew bold, and little by little, he inched himself closer and closer to the center of the pillow. Very soon, his head was right next to Pei Lu and their breaths mingled into one with each other.

With a light laugh, Li Jun gathered his(PL) rolled-up body that was plastered to the wall and enveloped him in his embrace. Only after smelling the faint fragrance in his arms, did Li Jun fall asleep contentedly.

[1] This is something in TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) and my parents tell me about this a lot. Basically, it’s the idea of your body’s internal heat growing from either eating fried/spicy/unhealthy stuff. This also is believed to cause pimples to grow because the heat in your body is too high. Thus, drinking a lot of water is recommended. Most of the time, if you have pimples, ulcers, or parts that are swollen, it is believed to be caused by excessive internal heat.
