After explaining to his parents that this was the car from the office, Mizuto then brought Yume to the car. "Thank you for picking us up."

"No, it's not a problem at all." The driver answered politely with a smile. "Is it the Kyoto station?"

"Yes." Mizuto nodded. "Please send us there."

"No problem."

With that conversation, the driver started to drive to the Kyoto station.

"Th-Thank you very much."

Still, as the two finished their conversation, Yume suddenly jumped in and thanked the driver.

The driver only smiled and didn't talk to Yume, but Mizuto chuckled, which made her pout.

"Why were you so nervous?"

Yume looked at Mizuto with a complicated gaze and asked in a whisper, "You didn't tell me that a driver would pick us up in the luxury car."

"Then, do you want us to walk to the station?"

"...." Yume was speechless. "That's not the problem, right?" Frankly, it was normal for people in this country to walk toward the station when they wanted to travel, especially to a different city. Instead, it was uncommon for someone to have a driver to pick them up!

Still, Mizuto, who had money, wanted to avoid entering public transportation. It wasn't that it was bad. Instead, public transportation in this country had the best service, especially those that were expensive, but as his charm got better, he was afraid that he would be molested.

Mizuto believed in human kindness, but he wouldn't underestimate human lust.

After he, who had become the richest in this country, couldn't control his lust, then what about the others?

This country might be peaceful, but if they let their guard down because of this, they would be sorry.

Those who smiled, acted gently, and were kind to others would suddenly stab you in the back without you realizing it. It was like an anglerfish that emitted a light under the darkness. When those prey thought that it was a hope, nothing but despair awaited them.

Still, Mizuto knew that he might be exaggerating, but he wanted to say that someone couldn't be naive, thinking that everyone's head was full of flower gardens and fluffy things.

Nevertheless, to answer Yume's question, Mizuto said, "It's not like this car is mine (lie). It is owned by the company, and this pick-up service is like a facility prepared by the company. It's like those pantries that can be used by the employee."

"...do you think that it is normal for an employee to ask a luxury car to pick them up?"

If it was someone else, they could be fooled by Mizuto, but who was Yume?

She ranked 2nd in the entire grade, just below him!

Moreover, even their parents had never been picked up by such a luxury car!

Even if they don't use public transportation, the best thing is a taxi!

"Yume... let me tell you one thing."

"Wh-What?"

"Don't think too much and just enjoy, okay?"

Pulling her closer with his arm, Yume subconsciously leaned on his shoulder, feeling a bit embarrassed by the sudden intimacy as there was another inside the car, but she saw that the driver seemed to focus on the street, which made her sigh in relief. Still, she knew that he was correct. She might as well stop thinking as she was afraid that she couldn't stay calm.

Nevertheless, as they arrived at the Kyoto station, Yume felt relief as everything was normal.

The two rode on the Shinkansen to Osaka, which only took 12 minutes, and they used to talk about the car that picked them up before.

"I feel like a rich lady somehow..."

"Rich lady, don't flaunt, okay?"

"Then, how do they act?"

"They don't act. A luxury car might be something special for us, but for them, they will probably act like how we ride on the bus."

"...if you say it that way...."

So, was being picked up by a luxury car something normal for him?

Still, in the end, she followed his advice by not overthinking as they enjoyed a pudding they bought at the station before they entered the train.

Nevertheless, as their trip was only about 12 minutes, it felt so fast somehow.

Mizuto was sure that people in the past wouldn't have imagined that they could take 12 minutes to travel from Kyoto to Osaka.

"So, this is Osaka..." Yume murmured. Unlike Kyoto, she could see how rowdy Osaka was, but then she linked her hand to him tighter as she could see the women in Osaka seemed more aggressive as they kept staring at him. Like a leopard that saw delicious prey, if she didn't show he was taken, she was sure they would leap and bite him down!

"You haven't been here before?"

"No, no... it's my first time." Still, watching his calm expression, she felt at ease somehow.

"Then, I took your first time?"

Yume blushed and lightly hit him. "How about you? It shouldn't be your first time, right?" Watching how calm he was, she thought he had been here before.

"No, it's my first time too. You took my first time."

"....that's kind of wrong for some reason, but I am happy regardless~!"

Yume decided to be happy and walked with him as she saw someone with a board written with his name. "Mizuto, that's..."

"That's our driver. Let's walk there."

"O-Oh!"

Nevertheless, as it wasn't her first time, Yume felt calmer than before, and unlike the previous car, the car that picked them up was kind of low-key, which made her calm and curious about everything as she could see how lively Osaka was. Moreover, as they had arrived at seven at night, the street was still full of people. Still, as a Kyoto person, she felt this was too rowdy and lacked elegance.

If Mizuto knew what this girl was thinking, he would roll his eyes.

"Is this where we are going to stay?"

"Um." Mizuto nodded. "Haven't you checked the internet before?"

"I did, but..." The reality and the picture were different, okay?

The place they were going to stay was Conrad Osaka, which was located on the Nakanoshima Festival Tower West.

While Mizuto didn't buy Conrad Hotels brand, he bought this building.

If there was something special about this high-rise building, it would be the tallest twin tower development in Japan, which was divided into "Festival Tower" and "Festival Tower West" and reached 200 meters from the ground.

While the "Festival Tower" is used as the headquarters of the Asahi Shimbun Company, it also includes an auditorium and tenant office, while Festival Tower West houses the luxury hotel Conrad Osaka in addition to offices, a museum, an auditorium, and shops. Moreover, the underground square also links to a subway station, forming an access network for the public.

Still, as he thought about Asahi Shimbun, Mizuto also wondered whether he should acquire this company as he felt like it wouldn't be bad to have media, a place where he could express himself and also talk in case he and his company were being slandered. It also could be used by him as a weapon to take down others as the media sometimes were even crueler than killing. Moreover, with the "Business" job, there was no need for him to worry that it would go bankrupt.

Mizuto felt like this company wasn't bad at all since not only was it the second-largest circulation newspaper in the country, but it was also the owner of TV Asahi.

While abroad, the newspapers were bankrupt, and the television started to lose their viewers as most people mostly stayed on the internet; this country was different as the newspapers and the television were still strong.

Moreover, even if the internet was strong, it didn't mean that the newspaper and the television couldn't stay alive. They only needed to take a different approach and a will to develop so they could always stay on top.

There was no doubt that it was a troublesome and cruel place, but a business was like this, right?

If you don't want to do this, then you might as well work as an employee, waiting for a salary every month.

Still, in the current economic situation, there was nothing stable except for government employees, yet even so, this job wasn't popular as it had long hours of work and limited salary.

With that said, Mizuto didn't hesitate and bought this media company as it was cheaper than he had thought.

Still, this focus should be on Yume now, especially when she was nervous and excited about their stay in this luxurious hotel.

When they arrived at the building, they were greeted by a concierge, who guided them to the hotel. Still, the entrance was luxurious, especially in the elevator hall, where there was a beautiful chandelier.

If it was other girls, there was no doubt that they would put this into their Instastory.

Unfortunately, neither Yume nor Mizuto had much of a hobby to pay attention to on social media, so they peacefully entered the hotel entrance, which was located on the 40th floor.

"...we're going to stay here?" Yume asked as she gazed over the spectacular view of the Osaka night. It was kind of overwhelming as she could overlook the entire city of Osaka from this place.

"Yes." Mizuto asked, "You don't like it?"

"No, I am fine, but... I guess I am not used to it..."

Yume wasn't like Cinderella, who somehow had the confidence to dance in the most luxurious ballroom with the prince after she got a dress from the mother fairy. She knew that deep inside, she had many inferiorities, and she was also so perverted that sometimes, she wondered whether it was okay to be with him.

"It's okay. I am here. There is nothing to worry about."

Fortunately, her prince was gentle, guiding her steps so she wouldn't fall into this luxurious hotel, and because of this, she became more expressive as they walked.

"We're like Laputa."

"The building on the Laputa is old."

However, when she talked about Laputa, Mizuto somehow remembered Reina as she was a trumpeter, and he wondered whether she could play " A Morning in the Slag Ravine."

"I wonder if Reina can play " A Morning in the Slag Ravine."

Mizuto looked at Yume and thought that they thought the same thing.

Still, there was no doubt the design of the entrance hotel was amazing, and they were also greeted by an artistic statue that reminded them of Fuujin and Raijin, a god of wind and a god of lightning in Shintoism.

However, even if those statues were intriguing, they were more interested in their room, so when they were guided inside the entrance, they were led to the king executive corner suite.

Entering their room, they were alone, and as there were no people except him, Yume felt relaxed. Still, unlike him, who knew which room they stayed in, she knew nothing. "Can I look around?"

"Sure."

Mizuto wasn't sure how to describe this, but it was probably like how a child entered a theme park for the first time. Yume was like that, he thought.

Yes, Yume was excited!

It was her first time in a luxury hotel, and their room was so spacious! It was probably about the same size as her apartment before her mother married Mizuto's father.

Or rather, this room should be much bigger, right?

Then again, the one that made her the most excited was that it was her first time to be in such a tall building, and from their room, she could see a panoramic view of Osaka City from 200 meters above the ground!

"It should be much taller than Kyoto Tower, right?"

"It is."

Hearing his answer, she was stunned. It wasn't because of his answer but because he hugged her gently from behind, and he clearly showed his intention.

"He-Hey, we have just arrived... and I haven't taken a bath yet..."

"It's okay, isn't it?"

Mizuto put his nose against her nape and inhaled her scent. "Moreover, your scent is nice."

"Pervert~!"

Still, her resistance was minimal, and she was then drowned in the pleasure caused by her step-little brother.

"Hnh~!"
