Utaha looked at the skyscraper before her and fell into silence. She had been thinking of many conspiracies and strategies on her mind to meet that hateful guy, but unexpectedly, Sonoko would take the initiative to let her meet him.

Still, hearing Sonoko's requests, she agreed without hesitation.

"Guide him around Tokyo, huh?"

Utaha smiled sweetly and thought that it was her chance to make him fall for her, but at the same time, she also wondered whether she could do this task well. It wasn't like she was proud of it, but she hardly left home and mostly stayed indoors. Even if she left the house, she would either go to the library, bookstores, or the publisher to discuss her book.

However, it didn't mean that she was hopeless.

With the help of the internet, Utaha researched various spots that they should visit in Tokyo. Moreover, she also dressed beautifully, so when she made mistakes, that "bastard" would be lenient toward her, as being beautiful gave her such an advantage in reality.

Nevertheless, Utaha aimed to become a perfect girl in his eyes, making him fall in love, then dumped him right away.

"But..."

Utaha had to say that her plan was quite cruel when she thought about it, and at the same time, she felt it was wrong of her to do this to him as she knew that he had done nothing wrong. What he did was just refuse to contact her, which was normal since if she was on Mizuto's side, she also would refuse such a troublesome matter.

At this point, she realized how unreasonable she was and understood that her anger was nothing but frustration as nothing was going her way. Yet, when her novel moved in a good direction under Mizuto's help, she wanted to do something for him, and frankly, sometimes she even thought about jumping on the train to go to Kyoto to meet him.

Yes, this might be too extreme since they didn't know each other, and she just knew him from his writing and the instruction guide he wrote.

Anything else?

She knew nothing about him.

So, it was also why she often thought about him, wondering what kind of person Mizuto was.

"However, this guy must be an anti-social otaku."

When Utaha thought about Mizuto's writing, while she didn't want to admit it, she felt like this guy was a casanova-like existence, someone who could seduce one woman after another, but then again, she didn't believe such a person existed. Instead, she felt like this person should be an otaku who spent his time reclusive, like a hermit, and thought of a fantasy of having a harem every day.

Yet, it didn't matter.

While Mizuto was such a person, Utaha knew that Mizuto was talented, especially in terms of writing. No matter how bad he was, she believed that she could accept him and give him a great time in Tokyo.

Still, what if he falls for her?

While it was normal for a man to fall for a beautiful girl like her, she didn't mind giving Mizuto a chance, but still, she hoped for him to show care and treat her more like how the protagonist of his story did to his women instead of ignoring her coldly like this.

Nevertheless, when Utaha knew where they would meet, she was in a daze.

Staring at the high-rise building before her, Utaha felt a bit nervous. After all, while she had written a novel, she wasn't that famous light novelist who had sold 500,000 copies of books yet. She was still a baby bird who knew nothing about the world. Moreover, she also had a normal family, so watching this large building, she was in a daze for a while.

However, she took a deep breath and came inside.

Still, she was stopped by security, which made her nervous.

Yet, this was a normal process since while this high-rise building was partly a hotel, it was also an office building.

How could one enter the office buildings like it was their house?

As for the hotels, every guest usually came while being guided by the staff, and the security should have remembered them, considering this luxury hotel brought such a privilege.

While this might be hard work, those who could stay in this hotel were all rich.

In this country where the economy was in a downturn, remembering the faces of those wealthy people definitely wouldn't be hurt, right?

"Ah, um..." Utaha was quite nervous when security asked her, but then the hotel staff came to her and asked, "Are you Kasumigaoka Utaha-sama?"

"...sama?" Utaha was confused, but hearing her name called, she nodded. "Ah, yes! That's me!"

"Then, please follow me. Machida Sonoko-sama is waiting for you at the hotel longue."

"..."

Utaha was speechless, wondering whether her editor was so rich, but then when she recalled Sonoko, her editor, she felt like... it was impossible.

So what was happening?

If there was a reason, then there was only one.

'It must be that guy.'

Utaha was sure, but somehow, when she saw all of this luxury, she realized what Sonoko had said wasn't wrong. It seemed that he might not have had time to contact her, and writing was just a side job for him. This made her feel ashamed, realizing how insignificant she was.

Yes, Utaha might not think much about luxury, considering her age and all. She also didn't think that wealth was everything, but when she saw many people change their expressions as if they wanted to curry favor with her, she realized how special Mizuto's existence was.

This was a power that was brought by wealth.

Mizuto not only became the "King of Logistics" but also controlled many important warehouses and transportation from land, air, and water. Moreover, he also had many buildings, hotels, convenience stores, restaurants, theme parks, and even sports clubs. Still, this wasn't his end, and soon, this world would be as good as his.

Still, Utaha didn't know all of that.

Her world was still limited to her school, home, and the publisher.

Her experience in the world was nothing, and somehow, this meeting with him brought her some nervousness, yet also curiosity, as it made her wonder what kind of person Mizuto was.

Yet, at the same time, to make herself feel comfortable, Utaha tried to badmouth him inside her heart so she wouldn't feel inferior.

'Hmph! Evil capitalist! That guy must be ugly, right?'

With that thought, Utaha tried to fight this invisible enemy inside her mind before the lift made a "ding" sound, and the staff guided her to the longue of the hotel.

As expected, the hotel was luxurious.

Even though this high-rise building was the pinnacle of modern architecture, the inside was unexpectedly designed in a traditional Japanese style. The center of the building had beautiful flowers carefully crafted by the master of Ikebana. The vast lobby was designed to look like a combination of washi paper doors and engawa platforms.

'If my book is sold, I will stay here next time.'

Utaha made up her mind, but then her thoughts were interrupted when her name was called.

"Shi-chan!"

Utaha turned and saw Sonoko was there, appearing so beautiful, yet compared to Sonoko, her eyes quickly drew into the figure of a man, who sat on Sonoko's opposite, sipping his coffee slowly.

It was like the sun during the sunrise. Even though the scenery was beautiful, only the sun became the main character of that breathtaking scenery.

Utaha just couldn't look away at the moment.
