While the news of his foot being broken caused another riot in his school, and many kept asking him, Mizuto answered their questions normally, as a normal person would.

When someone was worried about you, it was a good thing.

Why should he feel troubled by it?

Yet, he had to say; sometimes it might not be bad to act more coldly so that fewer people would trouble them. Moreover, he thought of announcing that he had a girlfriend so that no men would try to approach him.

While the world might start to become kinder to those who fall for those who fall for the same gender, Mizuto refused to accept it!

He was damn straight!

He was only interested in women!

Nevertheless, whether it was Nami, his teacher; Shikimori Miyako, the girl whom he had saved when she was about to fall from the stairs; Ai Kamiya, another girl whom he saved when she was about to be crushed by a heavy object, even Oumae Kumiko, who had been avoiding him lately, everyone in this school quickly asked him, how he was walking.

Still, when the break came, it was relatively calm as many had understood what was happening, but many still walked past his class, looking at him with a worried or curious gaze.

However, Mizuto ignored them and ate his canele.

"...so you were there at Ikebukuro?"

"Yup?"

"Were you hurt because you saved a girl?"

"...yup."

Unlike when he was with the others, he only told them that he got his foot broken due to an accident, but when facing Akatsuki and Reina, he told them the truth. Yume also didn't feel surprised by this, considering how close Akatsuki and Reina were.

As for Mizuto's lie?

Yume felt that it was better for him to lie since if he told the truth, then the crowd around them would be even more horrible. Moreover, the Ikebukuro Anarchy was so famous that the heat wasn't subdued until now.

Nevertheless, even if Mizuto said he got hurt because of the accident, many thought he was hurt because he saved people. While his record was also partly the reason why everyone thought so, it was because those who weren't close to him tried to perfect, worship, and turn him into a deity-like existence.

While it might sound exaggerated, when one is obsessed with others, they will try to beautify the object of their admiration, as if that person is the perfect being in the world, even though that person also has many flaws, like everyone else.

"Hey... why did you two cry?"

Yume was startled when she saw Akatsuki and Reina suddenly crying.

"It-It's okay..."

"I... I am just worried about him... For him to be there... it must be scary..."

Frankly, whether Akatsuki or Reina, their feelings were complicated and sad. They knew that Mizuto didn't want to make them worry, so he never told them what was happening to him. While they knew that he was okay, they wanted him to rely on them anymore since the thought of losing him was... frightening.

Watching the two who wiped their tears, Mizuto also thought about all the women and girls who asked about his situation. Their eyes were reddened, and they were on the verge of crying. No, they were already crying. He had never thought about it, but when he saw their expressions, he didn't expect that his existence meant so much to them.

Unlike him, who could live without them, if he left, they might be devastated and do something that couldn't be understood by ordinary humans.

Knowing this, he looked at his penis, wondering why he couldn't control it.

Yet, he was fine, so he tried to reassure them.

However, there was no doubt that all the plans that they had became a failure, especially when Yume never left him when his foot was broken.

Mizuto knew that as long as he couldn't solve the problem and tell Yume about his relationship with others, it would be impossible for him to hold Akatsuki, Reina, and the others openly.

Well, while he wanted to be able to hold all of them together, it didn't mean that he wanted to do it in front of everyone. After all, he didn't have a hobby to announce his relationship with the others. He might have a harem, but he felt like it wasn't something that he should be proud of.

Being a man didn't mean that he had to show many that he had conquered many women.

He might be scum, but it didn't mean that he was so horrible to do something like that. He wasn't so childish, but then again, as they had chosen to be with him, this was also a price that they had to pay.

While they got many things from him, they also had to pay.

Still, due to his injury, many things had to be postponed.

Akatsuki, who had good news for him, could only endure it since it was impossible to tell him what she wanted to tell him when Yume was present. Well, she didn't mind telling Yume, but at least Yume had to wait for a while.

However, knowing that he should be okay in a week, they sighed in relief, and they also quickly changed the topic of conversation.

"Aoi Festival?"

"Yup."

"You should know, right?"

"It is a famous local festival. Of course, I know."

Mizuto didn't pay attention to such a festival, considering his business was never affected by whether there was a festival in Kyoto or not. As his women had talked about this festival, he decided to listen to it. Moreover, he knew that Rinko's school also participated in this festival, using a lot of money, so her Ikebana school could become more prestigious.

"But I didn't expect you to pay attention to such an event, Akatsuki," Reina said.

"Well, my friends are quite excited about this festival, after all. I mean my friends from middle school. They like this kind of event."

Yume looked at Akatsuki in surprise and asked, "You still communicate with your friends from middle school, Akatsuki?"

It was normal for friends to part away.

Those who you were close with in elementary school or middle school would become a mere acquaintance when you became an adult.

Well, sometimes, one didn't have to wait until one became an adult since just because of something simple, such as becoming a high school student, would make one become a distant acquaintance.

Yume was like that since her friendship with her friends in middle school had become somewhat vague.

As for Mizuto?

Those girls in middle school often tried to connect with him, but he decided to keep this matter shut as he didn't want to cause trouble.

As for Reina?

This girl didn't have a friend.

"Yup." Akatsuki nodded. "If she didn't invite me, I wouldn't come." As she sighed, she winked at Mizuto, causing him to look at her helplessly.

Unlike the others, who were oblivious to what Akatsuki was doing, Mizuto knew that this girl visited this festival as she had told him.

"What about the Saio-Dai?"

If one talks about the Aoi Festival, one naturally has to talk about the Saio-Dai, the main character of this festival.

In the past, the role of the Saio-Dai was chosen from the sisters or daughters of the emperor, but as many things had changed, this role was taken by the unmarried daughter from Kyoto, but it could be from other cities, too.

Nevertheless, there was no doubt the woman who was chosen as the Saio-Dai was the epitome of wisdom, grace, and social standing.

It could be said that this role was admired by every woman in Kyoto.

However, Mizuto knew that this was just a gimmick. The truth was that if one wanted to become Saio-Dai, one had to pay ten million yen.

This was a reality, after all.

Everyone needed money, which made him helpless.

Nevertheless, there was no doubt that the Saio-Dai was comparable to the Miss Universe in Kyoto.

"So, is this Saio-Dai beautiful?" Yume asked while glancing at Mizuto.

Reina and Akatsuki also looked at Mizuto, wondering whether he was curious.

"Now, you make me curious."

When those words came out, Yume pulled his cheek while pouting.

Akatsuki laughed and took her smartphone to show the photo of Saio-Dai. "Look at her yourselves. What do you think?"

A photo of a young woman wearing twelve layers of traditional style robes (jounihitoe), sitting gracefully on the gorgeous carriage, was shown before them. Her face was pure white, and her hair was pulled up, showing a sense of beauty that could only be appreciated by people in the Heian Era.

Yet, there was no doubt that this young woman was beautiful.

"She is beautiful..."

"Yeah, she is so sexy."

The narrow eyes of the young woman attracted Yume and Reina the most, and the young woman was so graceful in their eyes.

Still, Mizuto's lips twitched when he saw this young woman, who had become Saio-Dai.

"What do you think, Mizuto?" Akatsuki asked, observing Mizuto's expression constantly. However, she felt confused by his expression since it was different from what she imagined.

"You guys are much cuter than her," Mizuto answered naturally after he recovered.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Still, they understood from his expression that Mizuto didn't like this type of sense of fashion, so they quickly lost their interest in this Saio-Dai.

Nevertheless, Mizuto was speechless when he found out the young woman who took the role of Saio-Dai was the young woman who asked him to buy her virginity. Still, it was something that no one needed to know. It was better for him to keep this matter to himself.

However, he couldn't help but sigh since the woman who gained the epitome of wisdom, grace, and social standing in Kyoto had to sell herself to someone. This made him helpless because of how fierce the society was that even such a woman with standing had to sell her dignity to live.

'I need to become stronger,' Mizuto thought at that moment.
