Bloom glanced at the NPC while observing him so close. The name of his wasn't that famous or common. Back in the days of the Titanic Revolut game, he was the only NPC to carry such a name, and it took a year or two for a player to change his nickname to his.

"Are you going to help me?" the NPC asked, while mistook Bloom's silence as hesitation.

"Sure, but may I ask a couple of questions?" Bloom nodded while he had tons of questions that needed answering.

"Ask what you want."

"Am I the first player to come here? To obtain this quest?"

"In this empire, yes, but in the entire world, no."

The answer of Bloom seemed not to be far from what he had in mind. 'A limited time quest,' he muttered to himself before asking again:

"So other players are still in the quest or… failed it?"

The NPC glanced at him in confusion, before Bloom added, "I just want to know my place in the world, that's all."

"Oh, then yes they all failed."

"And you won't leave here if I fail, right?" Bloom tried to act more like a player, less suspicious of the NPC.

"Well…" and the face of the NPC changed slightly. "Please, I don't want to lose such a chance," Bloom acted like he was pleading for his life here. 'If direct questions won't do, then I have to find another way around,' he said to himself.

"Sigh, I can't promise that," the NPC said, before adding in a bitter tone, "if it was up to me, then I would have selected one place and stayed there."

"Then if I failed, would you come back again?"

"I just told you I can't stay here."

Bloom had reached the question he wanted to ask from the beginning. "I mean after you circulate the entire world for one turn, can you please start the second turn here? I will keep some of my group waiting here all the time for you."

Bloom's tone and attitude told a lot about his sincere intentions; yet he wasn't feeling any sincerity regarding what he said. He just wanted to know something.

"I can't…" the face of the NPC started to be gloomier, "after this round, I... I won't have any other rounds to play here anymore."

The eyes of Bloom shone yet his features remained the same, showing his sincerity. "I promise you then to do everything in my hand to help you," Bloom said, and this time he meant it.

"I hope you can do it, after all I crossed half of the world already and none managed to help me."

"I will be up to the task."

"Great, I hope we can start the quest now then, shall we?"

The next moment Bloom's ears picked up the sound of system alerts.

"System alert: NPC Bloom has given you a quest: the lost staff quest.

Quest details: NPC Bloom was once a strong and esteemed staff holder NPC, yet he was unfortunate to meet a strange opponent, ending up for him to lose his staff.

Since then his staff is roaming the world, and he is running after it.

You are asked to accompany NPC Bloom inside the fallen mines, search for the staff with him and retrieve it.

Quest difficulty: the quest has three difficulties for you to choose; moderate, hard, and brutal. Note that the moment you choose a difficulty you can't change it later on. Please remember that your final rewards will be determined according to the level of difficulty and the time consumed to finish the task.

Quest time frame: from the moment of accepting it up to two days."

Bloom glanced at the message while understanding how difficult it was to complete this quest. "There is not even a mild degree of difficulty, tsk," he shook his head while thinking about his options here.

He had to enter the fallen mines and level up his own assassination team. So going inside wasn't the issue, but he had some vague feeling things wouldn't be that easy as he expected.

"May I advise you about something?" The NPC said, and Bloom nodded.

"Didn't you say you want a pet egg?"

Bloom wasn't stupid, as this was an obvious inclination from the NPC to him. "Which level should I get? Level one, or two, or three?" he asked, and his hand moved from down to above, and the NPC understood this signal.

"You have only two options of pets, ground pets at level two and flying pets at level three."

'The brutal difficulty is out of question,' Bloom said to himself, 'its difficulty would be high off the roof!' he knew the game wouldn't let someone obtain a flying pet so early and destabilize the balance of the game.

'The moderate difficulty has no pet egg reward, then I only can have the hard difficulty,' he reached this conclusion while glancing over the NPC again. 'Loving to help players, even twisting the rules of the game for that, sigh.'

"What will you do now? Will you help me or not?" the NPC asked, and Bloom smiled, "Sure, I will choose hard difficulty," he said.

"System alert: The quest has been accepted. You have two days most to complete the task."

"Shall I tell you then more details about the quest?" The NPC's face showed a bright smile. He didn't know why, but he had such a positive feeling towards the player in front of him.

"Just give me a minute," yet Bloom had other things to handle first.

"You will call your friends?" the NPC asked, with great expectations.

"No, let's call them… my friends!" Bloom didn't know how to describe what he was going to do and ended up saying something that made him laugh.

"Alright, I will just wait here," the NPC went to one side, leaving Bloom alone to his mission.

"Let's see, I will buy many tokens now so I have to raise my account points first," he muttered before taking out one item of each gear he had, and sold it in the dark auction panel.

This gave him over one hundred thousand points, and then he started buying tokens in large numbers.

This took quite some time, roughly an hour. During which the NPC kept eyeing him in a strange manner.

'First time to see a player so collected when receiving my quest,' the NPC said to himself while sizing up Bloom, 'is he a sword wielder faction? Why do I get some strange vibe from him?'

The NPC was much curious to see what Bloom was doing out there, yet he didn't move to ask. He just wanted to start the quest, especially if the first part of the quest was the part everyone failed at!

So far no one managed to enter the real fallen mine lands.

"And… I finished," Bloom shouted while raising both hands in the air and clapping, celebrating his luck to gain one hundred tokens from this auction in one hour. "Phew, I thought I would lose a couple of them there," he laughed while glancing over the NPC.

"Are you ready?" the NPC asked.

"Give me a couple of minutes," Bloom said before taking out one token.

"Minutes! You asked for one and took one hour!"

Just as the NPC was about to lecture him, Bloom activated the token and a stunning beauty appeared just in front of him.

"Master," she knelt and greeted him.

"Who… Who is she?" At this moment, the lewd nature of the NPC showed up while he jumped all the distance to reach Bloom and the stunning girl.

"She is… my friend," and Bloom couldn't say anything real about her. 'Tsk, I'm pretty sure I wasn't that sex lunatic back in my days,' he commented while sizing up the drooling NPC.

"Brace yourself, we still have more," and Bloom laughed while taking out one token after another. In the end one hundred girls appeared, knelt and saluted him in the same manner.

And none of them was inferior to the other in beauty.

"Who are you?" the NPC asked, while feeling extremely nervous while all these beauties were kneeling. Even if not for him, he took it as if it was him.

"Me? My name is Bloom!" and Bloom replied, with a big smile while watching the skeptical look over the NPC face.

"You are playing me, right?"

"No, I'm speaking the truth, my name is Bloom."

"You know mine is Bloom, right?"

"Yup."

"And you know my name is quite rare, very rare actually, in the game and in the real world of yours, did you know that?"

"How come? I'm standing here in front of you and my name is the same as yours!"

"No way, let me see the info about the quest," the NPC was so messed up at this moment, and Bloom totally related to him.

"That's…" and the face of the NPC changed the moment he saw the details of the quest and the player who accepted it.

"See? Told you, I'm Bloom."

"Alright," and the NPC seemed quite nervous at the moment, "let's go and start this quest then, shall we?"

"Why are you nervous?" Bloom laughed as he watched the NPC returning to the spot he stood at next to the shielded zone.
