"It's worth a lot to me," Bloom just inwardly sneered before saying: "I like it, at least I'll have something to remind me of this adventure."

"You've those," the NPC was stubborn as he pointed towards the dolls but Bloom totally ignored him.

"System alert: Congratulations for the player to gain the portable hidden dark fallen mines dungeon orb as a reward of finishing his quest."

"The portable hidden dark fallen mines dungeon orb: Rare item. The orb is linked to one dark fallen mine dungeon, where player can enter and face the same dark fallen mine he just cleared. The dungeon's level and difficulty will be tailored to match the player's current level.

Player can use the orb to allow for a team of a hundred players to enter with him. Player can open the dungeon and allow others to enter but he wouldn't. the dungeon can be exited by clearance, or by team wiped out.

The dark mine monsters will drop the same items they drop during the player's quest, plus some materials, normal gold coins, and gears from time to time.

To use the orb the player has to pay one hundred thousand dark points each time, and the player can summon it once per day."

"Wow," Bloom muttered to himself, "this is really epic! But the cost…" he glanced again at the high cost of summoning the dungeon. "One hundred thousand, I doubt killing all the monsters will give me this amount even," he was confused before he thought of something.

"They put into consideration the quests I'd get when killing these monsters," he bitterly smiled before closing the window, "nothing is free in this world."

He moved his gaze upon the treasure interface. "You said I can randomly have three tries?"

"Yes," the NPC was still mad at him for choosing such a low item.

"But I can see four golden icons, not three," Bloom pointed towards the screen as he added, "that means I have four?"

The NPC moved to the interface, closely observing it. "Strange," he muttered, "the fourth is a system forced gift for you, meaning the system has a surprise for you to take," the NPC laughed before adding, "I'm sure it'll be the egg hatcher, hehehe."

"What's all about this egg hatcher of yours," Bloom shook his head before glancing again at the interface. "One reward is a system enforced one, really?" he had a doubt, yet he had no choice but to try things out and see.

He simply clicked upon the first golden icon. The icon shone brighter for a moment before all the items inside the treasury menu shaffled fast before one stopped in front of him.

"A sword?" he glanced at the sword before taking it out to examine it. "A red grade sword? Wow!" he was speechless for a moment there before opening the details of this big sword.

"Grator sword: Red grade heavy sword. It's made of the spine of the Grator monster, so heavy and durable. Can't be broken, can't be lost, can't allow its user to be stunned. Atp: +15000, Def: +10000, Hp: +50000. Level fifty required."

Bloom glanced over this sword for a moment before bitterly tossing it into his inventory. "It's for such a long road, sigh," he wasn't satisfied by this first reward.

"I told you, you wasted your golden chance already," the NPC remarked and Bloom only selected the next icon.

The icon flared up before all the items inside the menu got shuffled before a single one appeared.

"Shield?" Bloom sighed, "why everything coming from this box are all useless gears?"

He tossed it as well in his inventory as it also needed level fifty to be wielded. "Next," he said, cutting the road over the noisy NPC to remind him again of his first choice.

"A rod?" Bloom was speechless and was already about to toss it into his inventory when the description of this scepter-like rod startled him.

"Wow! Just wow!" he exclaimed in surprise before rereading the description again.

"Ding Dong Rod: Unique item. Bound only to be used by leaders. The rod is a relic of the fallen mines, something that an ancient civilization left behind. Some say it's cursed, it was the cause of demise of this once flourishing empire, yet others see it as a mighty weapon.

The rod is light, yet it carries within it the weight of a mountain. Player can wield it to launch a heavy blow to a certain target, and that target will be smashed instantly regardless of how tough it is. If it was a living being, a monster or player, then according to the level and grade the rod will affect the target.

Yet the lowest effect is to take away half of the target Hp and render it in weak mode for one minute. No level restriction, only rank restricted to leaders. Used once per day. Can't fall, can be traded and sold between leader ranked players and NPCs."

Bloom glanced at this thick short rod in hand with white outer shell and inner golden one, ending up with a lotus-like end. "This is amazing," he muttered.

"You got something nice," the NPC nodded.

"What is this leader rank thing?" Bloom turned to him and said.

"It's the rank given by the village mayors, the town magistrates, and the city governors to players and NPCs based on their performances and quest done."

Bloom glanced at him for a moment there before adding, "there's no other way other than this?"

"Nope," the NPC said, before adding, "lucky for you I'm not a small fry here. I'll speak for my city governor and let him assign a quest for you."

"Who isn't a small fry?" Bloom laughed before adding, "says the one whose neck was about to be slaughtered if not for me."

"So I'm repaying the debt and helping you to gain the rank fast!" the NPC instantly said.

"Nah, don't play these tricks on me," Bloom was amused by the fact his past self was trying to trick his current one, "this is considered part of you paying back to me. After all your life isn't that cheap, big shot, hehehe."
