The moment he arrived at the village main central plaza, his mind was buzzed by a long series of notifications.

"System alert: Player Nara tried to contact you, but you were in a special zone so the attempt was a failure."

"System alert: Player Muna tried to contact you, but you were in a special zone so the attempt was a failure."

"System alert: Player Nara tried to contact you, but you were in a special zone so the attempt was a failure."

"System alert: Player Muna tried to contact you, but you were in a special zone so the attempt was a failure."

"Tsk," he shook his head while seeing all these alerts lining up like a giant train. "First things first," he muttered before opening his friend list and choosing Muna from it.

"It's amazing though how the system even considered her as a player," he admired this little detail which made him quite sure it wasn't this easy for Muna to be discovered.

"Finally," the moment her face appeared on the floating screen she sighed in relief.

"Any news for me?" he asked.

"Panty came back hours ago in a very bad mood," she said and he was already anticipating this. "Anything more?"

"He ordered everyone that could be bought to come and serve him in his quest," she paused before adding, "he sat the deadline of the quest to be two days from now."

"Great," Bloom said without much excitement as his mind was still troubled by what happened in the lost mines, "anything else?"

"Are you alright?" she asked yet he just briefly answered, "I have other things to do. Keep me posted about everything you know."

He closed the call before taking a deep breath. "I can't go on like this, I have to clear up my mind first," he muttered while knowing the perfect way to do so.

"System alert: Player Nara is calling you."

Before he could even move a finger, this system alert kicked in. "It seems I have to meet her before I leave."

"You rascal! You left me behind and disappeared for the entire day! Entire day!!" the moment she appeared in front of him, her face reddened and she exploded with shaking fists.

"Calm down," he smiled a faint one, "I told you I have a special quest to make."

"You…" she suddenly sensed the change of his mood, "did you fail it?" she asked.

"It's not that," he sighed before adding, "I just didn't get what I wanted from it."

"Amazing," she glanced at him before adding, "I never truly understood men, you always seek strange achievements beyond success!"

"The same goes for your kin," he shortly laughed before adding, "have you found my players?"

"The leveler is easily found," she said in discontent, "that player… sigh, it fits precisely your requirements."

"Great," he said before saying, "and the other one?"

"We are still looking around."

"Strange, I thought it would be easier to find the alarmer," he commented.

"All players we talked to got excited at first before asking for a rotation deal with other members in the team. Of course I let them all down, if we would do a rotation, then what's the need for them?"

"Makes sense," he nodded before adding, "keep looking, I have something to do and then return."

"Are you going to rest?" she asked in some doubt.

"Sure, I haven't had a rest since getting there," he said honestly.

"Didn't you get out of the game? Even once?"

"Not a single time," he lied as he suddenly understood where her questions were leading to.

"Sure? Didn't go out, drove your car and entered a hotel for example?"

"Wow, you certainly have much imagination," he laughed and his laugh made her more suspicious of him.

"I need to go and you have work to do," he simply said before adding, "let's talk when I rest for a bit."

"Waiting for you, my mysterious man," she muttered and he just closed the call with a simple smile over his face. "Sigh, many things need to be arranged in a short time."

He glanced around, the village was much bustling with activity right now.

"System alert: Player Anotan wants to add you as a friend."

"Oh! That's surely a surprise," he laughed and this time he meant it while accepting the add request and then sending a call.

"Master," the face of Antoan appeared with slight changes over his nose bridge and chin, yet he kept his café-au-lait skin and his strong physique. "I'm here."

"I can see that," Bloom nodded before adding, "get out now, there are important things to discuss."

Antoan has his face slightly changed before hurriedly nodding. He noticed how disturbed Bloom was, and for him this meant only one thing.

"There is a big problem he is facing right now," he thought to himself while arranging things for his team then he logged out.

He was playing in a room just next to the room of Bloom. So, in less than a minute he reached Bloom's room where Bloom was just getting up from the capsule.

"What's up?" he asked, "what makes you this nervous?"

"You said before we have a sponsor inside the CEO board, right?" he suddenly asked out of blue.

"Sure," Antoan replied without thinking before adding with doubt, "why?"

"Is he trusted?" he asked.

"He is," Antoan said, "he was the sole man believing in you, one of your old man's best friends back in the days," he explained before adding, "is there something you need out of him?"

"Sure," Bloom said, "can you get a secured call with him?"

"Now?" Antoan glanced around, as the world ushered under the heavy curtain of the late hours of the night.

"Yes, now," Bloom confirmed.

"May I ask what happened?"

"You'll soon hear everything," Bloom briefly answered.

"Alright," Antoan said before going back to his room and getting his screen before returning again while dialing some numbers.

"He is supposed to be asleep," he muttered, shaking off his head while Bloom didn't care about his doubts. "Just keep bothering him until he answers."

"Brother whom?" suddenly the called connected and an old man appeared in front of Bloom. The moment he saw him he instantly recognized his face.

It was the old man who spoke with him first on the stage, warmly welcoming him. "Oh, sorry to bother you," Bloom said with no sincerity in his tone, "but something strange occurred and I needed to contact you to keep you briefed."

"Directly to the topic," the old man laughed before Antoan added, "Mr. Gilbert, sorry to bother you in this late hour, but my master has something very urgent to discuss."

The old man smiled before saying: "And I suppose you too don't know what it is, right?"

Antoan turned to Bloom who simply asked: "Is this line secured?"

"Oh, it's urgent to such a degree," the old man was sitting on a comfy seat when he stood up and walked inside his mansion, "wait a moment."

He took out a silver suitcase before opening it and there was a device with many small screens there.

He put his screen in a special place there and pressed some buttons before the screens lit up with red values and loud peeps.

It kept buzzing for seconds before everything went silent. "It's secured now," Gilbert said before adding, "what happened?" he asked. "Did that kid try to pull a trick on you in the game?"

This was the wildest thing Gilbert could think of. As his sponsor, he was the one of the main investors in this trial, making them both two men in one boat.

"It happened in the game," Bloom nodded, "but not from that lousy kid, it was one of you."

His words made the face of Gilbert instantly change. "No way, we are bound by heavy oaths, oaths no one dare to break!"

Bloom didn't understand his meaning before saying, "It's, and he confessed this to me."

"Tell me everything," Gilbert asked in a deep tone and troubled face. Bloom started explaining what happened inside the quest, and when he finished, even Antoan standing next to him was burdened with worry.

"Are you sure he said these things?" Gilbert said.

"Yes," Bloom answered, "he simply threatened me and said something about how Dockrey was destined to be the next owner of the entire corps."

"He said corps, not just the game?" Gilbert asked again just to make sure Bloom didn't mix the two, and Bloom nodded. "And he said he couldn't leak your ID because of certain punishment?"

Bloom also nodded, and this time Gilbert stayed silent for long minutes without saying a single word.

"This is indeed one of us," he finally sighed, with a helpless look over his face that soon turned to anger, "yet he dares to use this backdoor… damn!"

"Didn't you say you were bound by an oath?" Bloom asked, "can't you just punish him for that?"

"The oath is not to leak anything related to you two, or saying anything to threaten or endanger you," Gilbert sighed before explaining, "he didn't speak, he was too cautious to use the screen and typing words over it. This way he is safe from the punishment of breaking the oath."

"Yet he threatened me," Bloom argued.

"Did he?" Gilbert smiled, "he said a piece of advice to you, not something that can be bound to being a direct threat. Also he promised to make things hard on you in the game, not doing anything in the real world which is the main concern of the oath."

Bloom didn't get everything he heard but he knew this was doomed to be a headache for him. "So he used a loophole to get away with his mischievous doings, right?"
