"Wait," the dragon seemed quite anxious and worried Bloom would leave and not return, "if you already know these then you know how important it is to have strong friends."

"Friend? With you?" Bloom laughed, "c'mon, you can't be trusted."

"Who said that?"

"I said."

"That's a very wrong conclusion," the dragon defensively said, "I'm a very honest person. Someone who honors his words and will carry on his promises."

"I don't trust anything you say," Bloom said, "as long as you aren't bound by the force in this game I won't be able to sleep well at night."

The dragon glared at him with surprise but Bloom only shrugged, "c'mon, give me something too valuable to ignore."

"What about… a path where a special game map is situated?"

"What's the benefit then?" Bloom sighed, "I'm too weak to get there and survive."

"How can you tell without trying?"

"It's a special game map, and from your tone it's very exclusive. I can already imagine how deadly it is for someone like me."

"What if I told you this would help to grow your personal power? I mean the real personal power in your pathetic world?"

Bloom paused as he was already interested in this offer. "I can't risk this, I'm far too weak," he kept repeating this and the dragon was finally impatient.

"I can help with that," the dragon said, "I can leave a follower of mine to help you. He isn't that strong or mature yet, and you'll need to nourish him but I doubt this will be a problem for someone like you."

"A dragon?"

"A wyvern," the dragon said, "it's still in its baby phase and requires a lot of nourishment but it is quite strong… at least far stronger than you."

Bloom thought about this and found this wasn't a bad thing. "What does he eat?" he casually asked.

"Anything with energy… gold coins, light points, dark points, even materials and gears. Anything with energy from this world just brings it on and he will eat it," the dragon said, "but the higher the food the faster he will grow."

"Is it a pet?" Bloom tried to understand the kind of relation with that wyvern.

"You can call him that," the dragon said, "but I have to warn you, he can fly but only once per month. Even if you fed him up, he won't be able to cross this limitation forever."

"For…ever?!" Bloom was skeptical about this, "are you sure? He is part of your kin after all."

"He… was born with some deformity," the dragon said, "he can't fly except once per month."

"This… decreases a lot of his value to me," Bloom honestly said, "can you add anything more to this so I can accept this deal?"

"He is quite valuable," the dragon tried to bargain, "you can't imagine how valuable he is with his other innate talent."

"…"

"He can work as a perfect tanker for you, absorbing any damage the master receives for a fixed time. It's a real blessing, you can't ask for more."

The dragon seemed like a merchant trying to sell his goods here, but Bloom didn't agree despite being slightly tempted by this ability. "I need more."

"…"

"He is good, I can give you that, however he isn't that unique. I need something else to make this deal worth the trouble."

"I promise I won't kill you," the dragon returned to his old offer.

"It seems you aren't sincere about this. Fine then," Bloom turned and this time he walked meters while the dragon kept shouting at him, trying to make him stop.

"Damn it! Why is it so hard to deal with you?" the dragon shouted in rage from behind, "it's not like I have riches and hold them off you! I've been confined here for ages already, stripped away from any riches and have no wealth to offer."

"Think of other things to add… you are a dragon goddammit!" Bloom shouted without even stopping or turning to the dragon.

"Alright," just as Bloom was about to reach his team on the distance the dragon shouted, "I can give you something valuable in addition to the wyvern. What say you?"

Bloom stopped, turned around and glanced in a serious way towards this cunning dragon. 'I knew you have more to offer,' he inwardly sneered before returning to the dragon.

"I swear if you played any tricks this time I won't stay even if you offered me the throne of this world," he said and the dragon only glanced at him in a calm way.

"I'm confident this will please you," he said.

"Say it then," Bloom waited until he stood in front of the dragon and demanded to know the details.

"I can bestow part of my energy upon you," the dragon slowly said, "it's something very rare and I won't even consider it if not for this… humiliating situation."

"Power?" Bloom muttered, "the power of the dragons… What is its power?"

"In its epitome you'll be able to turn into one of us," the dragon said in disdain, "despite this would result in a weaker form of me but you'll be strong in your own terms."

Bloom didn't fall for the far fetched promise this cunning dragon offered. "What's its initial effect?"

"You'll have a power to scare monsters on the same level or weaker than you," the dragon explained, "also if you manage to cross the first levels then you can have more abilities."

"Like flying?" Bloom sensed the urgency in the dragon explanation for fear he would refuse.

"This… can be achieved but in higher levels," the dragon said, "but you'll have awesome abilities, like to stun your enemies with your roars, having scales to cover your entire body to obtain outstanding defense… they are cool stuff, you don't want them?"

Bloom inwardly sighed, as this dragon was a real master in bargain. "Alright, you'll have to give me this wyvern and bestow me the power then I'll release you," he said.
