The words of Anna looked weird for Bloom yet he didn't jump to any conclusion as he calmly asked:

"What that stingy mayor did to you?"

"How can you sell a family heritage to an unknown person?" another man shouted in rage that instantly made Bloom furious.

"What the heck are you talking about?" Bloom sneered, "if you had any dignity then you should have gone there and fought that dragon yourself instead of cowering yourself in a corner and coming to bark as a dog!"

"You are asking for death, kid!" another man shouted in extreme rage as Bloom's words tugged over a sensitive issue inside their hearts it seemed.

"Consider me a suicidal," yet Bloom wasn't fazed by their burning gazes or explosive words and threats, "I'm the one who faces that dragon and anything I got from there is rightfully mine."

"It's the family heritage!"

"Screw you and your family," Bloom was already furious, "if you have an ounce of strength then you should have exhausted it over that dragon not me or over her."

Things were clear now to him as these hungry wolves had no dignity at all to come here and reprimand their daughter for what she didn't do.

"At least she had the guts to go for her own heritage and retrieve it," Bloom sneered before adding, "what have you all done? Instead of fighting that dragon you decided to come and fight the lone girl who succeeded in retrieving what was yours… dirty hypocrites are really shameless and with no honor at all!"

"You… you are asking for death!`` One man couldn't help but move. The next moment a very strong aura descended over the place alongside the loud angry shout coming from Anna… "Stop!"

And that man stopped what he was planning to do while all eyes fell over the body of Anna as she stood up from her seat and added in a strong tone, a tone that was totally different to what she spoke with moments ago.

"He did what I asked him for and it's not his fault or crime to get much more than I initially thought impossible," she said defending Bloom before adding, "he also gave me more than I asked for, that skull is now the symbol of my town and I won't tolerate any harm to befall over him."

The men glanced with wide eyes to each other before returning to her as one of them said with a sneer: "Big talk coming from a weak girl… let's see how you can survive in the wilderness by yourself. Let's go brothers, our little brother has given birth to a bitch."

Bloom felt strangely humiliated by these words because the warning gaze he got from Anna made him pause and not do or say anything. He watched them leave while Anna returned with a weak aura and dark face to sit over her seat.

"Don't mind them," she weakly whispered, "they were always like this."

"In what way did they support you?" Bloom asked as he felt from their words the hidden threat they issued towards her.

"They were responsible for providing me with extra money to run the town," she sighed, "it's always bad to run a town without proper business or merchants coming here. Sigh, it's a really hard inheritance that looked like a heavy load I got from my dear father."

Bloom understood her meaning and her dilemma. "Do they also have towns?"

"Only two more had towns nearby," she said, "and they are doing much better than me in that regard."

"Not anymore," Bloom cracked a wide smile all of sudden which seemed strangely out of place to her.

"Why do you look this happy?" she couldn't help but ask.

"Guess what?" he winked as he added in a cheerful tone that wasn't suited to what just happened, "I've got the money to build the guild headquarter outside your town."

"W- What?!!!" she couldn't help but stand up out of deep shock, even her beautiful body trembled faintly when she heard his words. "Are you telling the truth or joking around? Y'know things like these can't be treated lightly at all."

"Hahaha," he couldn't help but laugh, "I'm speaking seriously here, but saying this reminded me of something," he paused and feigned thinking deeply about a problem.

"What?" she asked with some ominous feeling inside her heart.

"I'm thinking of inviting you to a dinner to celebrate this," he said with a wide smile over her face, "I know of a restaurant that provides meat that I bet you never tasted alike ever in your life."

"Where is that restaurant?" she hesitantly asked, "is it inside my town?"

"No, it's there at that stingy man's town," Bloom laughed, "after all he and I are now best friends and he owes me a lot already."

"…"

She landed on her seat again with a gaped mouth while not knowing what to say.

"First let's settle this deal," Bloom said before adding to himself, 'and then I'll make sure to let all those arrogant bastards regret the ill treatment they did to me and you.'

"But…" she seemed quite hesitant about the dinner issue.

"C'mon, I believe you don't have a man that would jump at our table there and kill me for going out with you," he laughed and her face went rosy the next moment as she struggled to answer.

"Don't reject, it's a very important moment for you," he said, "after all after building the guild I'll get as many players as I can to join it. your town will truly turn out to be a safe haven for all players and you will be bathed with endless wealth out of the rich trade my guild will run."

"Trade… wealth…" she muttered softly as if these two words were alien to her. "How can this be and my town is located in the most deserted places ever?"

"Leave this task to me," Bloom evilly said, "after all I have many ways to bring good and stable trade routes to the town and my guild."
