The mayor didn't have this ability, but it was the butler. And that butler just realized Bloom had used a way to block his ability and just alarmed the mayor.

"Too heat for me," he sighed while watching the mayor excuse himself from his company and started to walk directly towards him with his butler. "If you want war, then war is what I'll gladly give you."

And he kept a mocking expression over his face, like he was saying to the mayor: "C'mon… bring it on… I'm not afraid of you."

"Welcome to my humble party," the mayor stood in front of Bloom who stood to salute him and be ready to block any attack coming from him or his butler.

"Thanks, it's my honor to be here," Bloom simply answered.

"I was busy all night with my guests, so I hope you can understand."

"It's alright."

"May I ask about your name please?" the mayor said before his eyes turned slightly colder, "and I'm curious how you got my invitation?"

"I got it from a mutual friend," Bloom met the coldness with another.

"A friend?" the mayor's face showed his doubt in his words, "who is this mysterious friend? I'm dying to know his identity."

"I can't tell in the open," Bloom said as he turned around as if he was afraid someone would eavesdrop over their conversation.

"Oh, then follow me… I also need to speak privately with you."

The mayor agreed and moved towards the same door Bloom entered through for the first time. 'So he is taking me outside? That's better,' he inwardly sneered before hurriedly typing to Sharel.

'Get ready, I'll start my attack soon.'

'Where? When?' she simply sent in a very practical fashion.

'I'm going out now, I guess I'm heading to the smaller building next to the big palace where a hundred guards are lying there waiting,' he sent.

'I'll inform the decoy and support teams now,' Sharel sent before hurriedly adding, 'do you plan to fight all of them alone?'

'What? Afraid of me?'

'No, but this has very low odds of success.'

'Not if I managed to kill the head of the snake first, right?' Bloom sent while adding, 'and I want the teams to do something for me.'

'anything.'

`It is a dark night, so it's not easy to see through here. That building is slightly away from the lights and the eyes of the guards stationed outside.'

'That's… true.'

'Then I want them to surround the building and kill anyone getting out,' he said, 'if they have some sort of silencing gear then it would be much better.'

'I'll see what I can do,' she sent, 'sigh, why men are always addicted to screwing up any good plan.'

'There was no plan in the first place!'

'I was about to send you one now.'

'Not my choice then, the mayor came and asked me to walk with him… should I stay back and not let him lead me to the building?'

'Sigh… still you are very hard to deal with.'

'It's just women who are harder than us,' Bloom smiled while walking behind the mayor and the eyes of the butler were fixated upon him.

"Anything funny?" the butler aggressively asked while they were exiting the mansion and started to take the direction of the same place Bloom guessed.

"It's such a good night to walk in," Bloom said in a way that made the eyes of that butler change slightly.

"Mortale, please don't annoy our precious guest," the mayor suddenly said in a calm tone, "after all me and him will have a long chat together tonight."

The butler didn't change his expression or move away his threatening gaze and Bloom simply ignored him. Bloom kept glancing at the place around as if he was really enjoying the night.

And that made that butler more nervous and restless.

"We are almost there," the mayor said, "can you tell me who my friend is now?"

"We can still be heard here," Bloom shrugged and refused to tell.

"Don't worry my dear guest," the mayor said with a laugh, "one way or another I'll get everything from you tonight."

Bloom threw off this threat as if he didn't hear it in the first place. As they arrived at the building, two guards stationed there saluted the mayor.

"Don't let anyone get near here," the mayor strictly said, "or even my dear… nephew," he said this and paused a little before saying the nephew's words. He was glancing at Bloom in a calm way, a way of a predator feeling confident of seizing his own prey.

"Please, get in," the mayor said in a warm tone that didn't match the situation at all, "we'll have all our talks in private inside."

Bloom simply ignored the obvious remark that the mayor gave about him knowing the relation between him and his nephew. Bloom moved inside and when he entered he saw the large number of guards sitting on rounded tables and gambling.

"Don't bother with us," the mayor said, "we'll talk in that corner," he pointed to the central place of the main hall where a larger table was there with ten guards playing over it.

The next moment they took away everything and cleared the table. "Please, sit and feel free to talk."

"With them around?" Bloom asked with a calm look with no hint of fear or doubt at all.

"Don't mind them, they are my trusted subordinates whom I trust with my life," the mayor shrugged before motioning with his head and the butler suddenly pushed Bloom in a violent way to move forward.

Bloom only glanced in a mocking way towards the butler while rubbing his hand which he blocked with the butler's rough move. "Why be so aggressive to a friend to your benefactor?" he simply said while moving leisurely towards the table like he worried about nothing.

'The teams are in place,' and as he was buying more time here, he received this simple message from Sharel.

The message he waited for.
