In the morning I woke up earlier than usual as I planned to leave in the morning. I quickly cooked up a quick meal for the kids and me.
By the time I had finished that Chloe and Alice entered the kitchen. Seeing me already awake and the food ready they were surprised.
"Alice, Chloe can you wake up others," I said to them. Hearing my voice they broke out of their thought and said.
"Yes Sensei"
Then they quickly left the kitchen, as they left I served the food on the table and waited for them.
After a while, all the kids entered the room but they had serious faces. I guess they noticed.
"Come eat otherwise the food will get cold," Ryuu said and the kids quickly sat on their seats without saying anything.
Today there was complete silence and the kids were also eating the food slowly. There was an invisible tension in the room and Ryuu also noticed that but didn't say anything.
After finishing the food Ryuu started to clean the dish and Chloe and Alice also helped him.
"Follow me" Ryuu finally spoke breaking the tension. Then he went outside followed by the kids.
Sitting under the tree he looked at the kids and spoke.
"So what would you like to ask?"
Hearing his question Ryota came forward and asked in a nervous voice.
"Sensei are you leaving today?"
Hearing his question Ryuu said, "Yes"
As he gave his answer there was a sad look on the kid's faces but they didn't cry or say anything as they had already excepted this situation.
"I see, sensei the next time we meet I will become strong enough to not need your protection."
"You know what I will surpass you Sensei," Ryota said with a loud voice with his eyes burning with passion.
"We will see about that but I know you will become stronger," Ryuu said while putting his fist out for a fist pump. Seeing this Ryota also put his fist out and gave him a fist pump.
Ryuu stood up and looked at Gale and Kenya, receiving his gaze they looked into his eyes with conviction and said.
"Sensei I will also become strong," They both said in unison.
"I know you will," Ryuu said and gave both of them a fist bump.
After he was done with them Alice came forward and gave him a hug.
"Sensei you don't need to worry about those idiots I will look after them." She said while looking at his face.
"Heyyyyyyy" Ryota shouted. Alice looked at him and put her tongue out teasing him.
"AAAAAAA" Ryota shouted and glared at her while she hid behind me still teasing him.
"Alice don't tease him too much," I said while patting her head.
"Okkkkk Sensei," Alice said and went toward Chloe. Chloe was just standing on the back without saying anything with a sad look.
Alice getting near pushed her forward in my direction. Due to the sudden push Chloe started to fall forward but I quickly caught her.
"Are you alright Chloe and Alice you know you shouldn't do that," Ryuu said.
"Sorry sensei," Alice said whereas Chloe.
"I...I am al..alright sensei." Chloe said with a shuttering voice.
"Don't be nervous Chloe it's not like that I will be gone forever," I said while patting her head it seemed to have calmed her down.
"Promise," Chloe said while putting out her pinky finger. Quite a cute gesture I would say but anyway I also put out my pinky finger and gave her a promise.
"Stay safe sensei," Chloe said while giving me a bear hug.
"I will you also stay safe," I said and hugged her back. Seeing that Alice also joined followed by others making it a group hug.
Finally, they let go and the kids said in unison.
"We will miss you sensei"
"I will too," Ryuu said and took out a bag from his inventory as it was almost time for him to leave.
"Well then see you soon kids," Ryuu said giving them a farewell with a promise of a future meeting.
"SEE YOU SOON SENSEI!!!" All the kids shouted and it was so soon in the morning their voice was heard for quite a distance.
"Smiling at that Ryuu disappeared from there."
Seeing Ryuu disappearing the kids looked at that place with sadness in their eyes but it quickly changed into a burning passion to get strong.
Ryota was sent to his room to get his sword followed by Kenya and Gale. Now the only people left on the ground were Alice and Chloe.
Seeing all the boys leave Alice came near Chloe who was still looking at the place Ryuu disappeared.
Getting behind her Alice whispered in her ears.
"So when are you going to confess to Sensei"
Hearing Alice's words broke Chloe out of her thoughts and her face quickly turned beet red. Alice giggled at such a reaction.
"Aliceee" Chloe said while turning around and giving Alice light punches with a red face.
Suffering from such an attack Alice quickly asked for forgiveness and Chloe stopped hitting her.
"So when are you going to confess" Alice asked after asking for forgiveness.
Hearing her question Chloe answered in a mosquito-like voice.
"When I grow a little taller."
But Alice heard her clearly and said, "Good luck but are you sure someone won't steal away sensei before that."
The second part was said in a joking tone but as she said that Chloe's expression froze.
Alice felt a chill behind her back and from Chloe. Seeing such a situation Alice quickly said.
"I was joking Chloe, Joking."
"I see but you shouldn't joke about such things," Chloe said with a little angry and annoyed tone.
"Ok, Ok I am sorry," Alice said while joining her hands.
"Hump." saying that she went toward her room. Alice was just left there scratching her head thinking of a way to appease Chloe.
As for Ryuu he finally arrived near the carriage he had bought for his travels.
As he was going to enter the carriage a voice behind him said.
"So Ryuu san are you going to leave without fulfilling the part of your deal."
"Of course not Yuuki and you know that you can just call me Ryuu," Ryuu said while turning around and looking at Yuuki.
"Of course, I know Ryuu SAN" Yuuki said with a smile on his face while emphasizing san. Well, there was a smile on his face but not on his eyes.
Ryuu also smiled and looked at Yuuki while Yuuki doing the same.
A tense situation was created who knows how it will unfold.
