Door locked?  Check.  Laptop, please.

Patricia, my pink partner, summons it for me, and I get to work.

Spoiler

So, seventh. I’m definitely getting some choice paralysis again.  Let’s see… I shouldn’t neglect basic defenses, so Mettle, from the Hexblade in Complete Warrior, makes a decent choice; things that are partially resisted by a fortitude or will save are instead completely resisted on a success.  That’ll be ten points.

Next up: Force of Personality from the Mighty Godling from Rogue Genius Games: It sets my base ability modifier for saves to Charisma, and lets me pick three skills to switch to Charisma as well… I'm going with Perception, Sense Motive, and Stealth, I think. I'm mostly nabbing this for the save bonuses, though: I'm a little concerned about those, but that could just be paranoia.

For the third choice… basic defenses. Nature’s Whispers from the Nature mystery of the Oracle will let me replace my Dexterity modifier with my Charisma modifier for armor class; that should make me really hard to hit.

For the feat… Extra JP, so I can grab the Domains ability of the cloistered cleric… because that grants me two domains plus the knowledge domain. The Knowledge domain isn't great, but it does translate to a few useful class skills here. My other two domains… the Time domain from Purple Duck Games: Because while I won't be able to use it until next level, undoing a recent event rocks.  The third… Liberation (Self-realization) domain… for no other reason than to get Paragon Surge on my class spell list without the spell's normal racial restriction. Basically, it's a floating bonus feat for me, that can be used for prerequisites, to go with the one I can get from Evolution Surge on my eidolon.

My eidolon gets better… more BAB, more hit points, armor up, strength and dex up, another evolution point.  Hmm… ah, there we go… I can trade a skill down to increase Charisma again.  That’ll be handy, especially now that I'm getting it to many extra things.

Light Body Technique progresses… I guess I'll take “Sharp Turn” so I can do corners when charging or running… not that either has come up.

The rest is just numbers: Skills go up in general, and the three I switched to Charisma go up a lot. Armor class goes up a lot from the Eidolon, charisma boost, and Nature’s Whispers. Saves go up from the Charisma improvement and due to switching the base statistic to Charisma. Hit points go up, as do Stamina points… spells known barely matter… a few odds and ends….

[collapse]

I check my work, commit things, and… yay, my headache is gone.

And of course… my measurements. I drop my illusion, remove my shirt… I still haven't felt the need for a bra, no backache or anything.

“You’re welcome,” my pink partner Patricia provides a comment.

Thanks Patricia.

I talk to Stephanie, “Stephanie… measurement time. How big am I?”

My ship responds helpfully, “One thousand one hundred forty cubic centimeters per side, a very large 34G, just shy of a 34H at one thousand one hundred eighty.”

And the illusion adds sixty CC's, putting my just over that 34H, “And what would be the next size up, and volume, after a 34H?”

“A 34I at one thousand three hundred seventy, CC's, Mistress,” Stephanie is obedient, but I'm really only getting the numbers to resize my clothes.

“Thank you Stephanie,” I put my shirt back on, and renew my illusion of normalcy.

Well… I've probably left the captured officers stewing long enough. I open a storage Keyhome, head through to the storage demiplane, and make another demiplane from there.  The spell itself puts me on the new plane, so I use Wish's Transport Travelers clause again to bring just one of the ship’s captains to me.

He was wearing armor when I nabbed him; she isn't anymore.  Her chest is crazy big… but not nearly Cowbird-level… which I suppose makes sense: This is the fifth time I've shuffled her with Wish, and I'm not feeling a need to be gentle with someone who used orbital fire on (probably, mostly) innocent colonists. So she should be up to about nine thousand CC's in her chest… and I'm really not done. Not giving her a chance to react, I hit her with Dominate Monster, and her chest expands, each side a good foot in diameter now.

I take a good look at the person I've warped: She seems human. Her hair is now pink, she's about five foot three, quite physically fit, middle aged, and decidedly out of uniform. But based on the overstretched t-shirt and way too tight briefs she's squeezed into, that's because they don't fit.  She's still wearing her dogfood tags (metal tags on a simple chain with name and rank, so that the body can be identified if the soldier has been burned beyond recognition or something).  The pressure of her shirt on her chest is causing her some stimulation, and she's leaking milk.

She's also looking a bit glassy-eyed, but that’s the mind control, “Let’s start with the basics: Tell me your name, rank, and allegence.”  I'm sure I've broken the Geneva conventions with the mind control and body warping… but I have the tools I have, and these guys killed civilians from orbit, so I'm not going to look it up… if it even exists here.

“Riila, Captain first class of the Azlanti Star Empire,” she's very monotone… but that’s the mind control.

“Tell me your mission here.” A command, not a question.  I'm giving orders, enforced by my not-magic.

“We were to secure all technology from Captain Alex Abrams, or failing that, ensure it does not fall into the hands of the enemies of the empire, by any means necessary. As we are not officially supposed to be in this section of space, we are also to eliminate all witnesses.” Quite the serial killer vibe, with such words being spoken so calmly and in such a matter-of-fact manner… but again, that's mostly the mind control.  Dominate Monster is NOT subtle.

“Tell me: Given the current status of your mission, what do you expect to happen if I send you home?” Again, more of a command than a question.

She gives me her expected sentence quite calmly, “With the effects your technology have had, I expect I will be studied for as much information as my superiors can glean from me, which will likely result in my dissection after many other experiments.”

“Tell me: If given the choice, would you prefer I hand you over to the authorities on Absalom Station, release you on New Thespera, or summarily execute you?” I am curious how loyal she is now, and what she thinks about Pact World treatment.

“Absalom Station,” no hesitation there… “please.”

Okay, I wasn't expecting any initiative on that one… I guess she feels pretty strongly about it, “Great,” I flip on an audio recorder, “now tell me everything you expect I would find useful that you know or strongly suspect.”

She drones on for a good hour… which isn't actually all that much; operational security, I guess.  Still… she does have some account access codes - mission funds for bribes. I take those down, and send her back to my planar prison via Wish Transport…

…then rinse and repeat with the other seventeen prisoners. I have three captains and fifteen commanders… and to a woman, they all prefer Absalom Station's authorities to being sent home.

And even more than the casual obliteration of civilians, that says something about the people hunting me, doesn't it?

I walk back into Stephanie, close up the Keyhome… and realize I forgot to make the prison plane suitable for long term storage: No food. So I Wish myself there, add Bountiful so it produces fresh produce, and Wish myself back to Stephanie.

Of course, I still need a plan.  Preferably two, or better yet, three.

Let’s see… I like being me, so plan A: Keep going as I am, build my forces by trading and breeding Stephanie, hope that the intimidation factor of my current battle records - ship and personal - convinces anyone with serious resources that I'm not worth the expense.

Plan B… run and hide? Between the summons, the UPB plant, and the fuel synthesizer, we can hide out in luxury basically forever. We could probably even dock The Brute with Stephanie to keep her expecting, and slowly build up a proper fleet.

That would give new meaning to the term “Mothership,” wouldn't it?

Plan C… hrm. I should get a third, maybe something between the two?  But I am not the only one impacted. There are several other people who have hitched their wagons to my train. I should discuss this at length with Stephanie, Euler, Linda, and Cowbird… although figuring out how to get her honest opinion will be tricky.

So I get on the coms as we enter The Drift: “Stephanie, Euler, Linda: We should discuss future plans.  When's good?  Cowbird you come too.”

It'll be four days until we hit Absalom Station, so we have a little while….
