Okay, I admit, that was fun… right up until the merge.

So yes, I was fully hilted in me, and… then YEOWCH. I wasn't anymore.

My body practically explodes off me… because I had dismissed the spell making me nine inches tall. Ugh. That's okay… I needed to rebuild it anyway… and I only told myself that now? Ugh, rude. Oh, that's what I was thinking. Huh.  Okay, yes, understandable….

“As much fun as it is to watch us reconcile two sets of memories from the last twenty minutes,” my pink partner Patricia speaks, “Dropping out of the Drift still leaves us with work to do.”

Right.  Short term, I use the old stand-by of Veil to at least look like me again (also feel and smell…to everyone else), not bothering with armor, and start letting people know, “Okay yes, that was legitimately me from the future, and we're back down to one of me.”

I pause, “And we have work to do. The Drift isn't safe anymore, which means we need a different method of interstellar travel… which I have, although it is mostly slower. But it means more enchantments for the ships, so Ocean…”

“Yes my goddess?” Ta replies.

“I'll either need to cast on you again - which means more side effect - or you'll need to have Stephanie carry you any time we need to go anywhere. What's your preference?” I wait for ta's reply.

Ocean considers, “Do we have the budget for another set of restorative spells?”

Money isn't really a problem, we have many highly skilled summons making UPBs on Stephanie so… “Sure. But we will need to make port to do that, which will take a while; you'll be stuck for a while; likely a few months.”

“I can live with that,” Ocean declares, “I'll even go first.”

“Great!” I let the soon-to-be woman know, “I'll start with you, and do the other biomechanical ships as well, then start the very slow process of updating the Brute and Rustbucket, which will take considerably longer.  Once you're set, you can start the trip to Trillidiem; we'll get you situated there.” I pause, “Same for everyone else, really: We have the money, so anyone who wants to be free from my side effects is welcome to it.”

I get dead silence back.  Right… everyone enjoys it while they're affected. Huh.

“Why wouldn’t they?” Patricia speaks into my mind, “It's quite the blessing.”

Ugh. “I'll see you in a bit, Ocean.”

I head through the Keyhome network, exit into Ocean, and ask verbally, “Are you ready?”

“I am, yes,” ta answers back through the shipwide comm.

I nod, “Okay then… do you want me to hit both bodies? This is actually intended for use at humanoid scale.”

Ocean walks in physically, and speaks, “Yes please.”

I nod, and begin preparations, summoning a group of elementals and empowering them via Create Proxy.  I then have them join with me in Circle Magic, and do the deed.  Now, with my Spheres caster level boosted up to seventeen, I get to add up to four traits to Ocean with Blank Transformation. Elemental Movement for flight and Starflight for going interstellar are the point of this, but for the other two? I go with Unspeakable Presence (it’s a fear aura that only affects enemies; any hostile spending much time within thirty feet of ta will quickly find themselves running away) and Spirit's Reach (it lets Ocean manipulate stuff from an extra ten feet of distance) for the little body.  For Ocean’s larger form, I go with Unspeakable Presence (borders will have a very nasty surprise going forward, as anyone inside the ship is within thirty feet) and Spiritual Touch (in case Ta runs into any ghost ships or some such).

And yes, the bump in Ocean’s pants goes away while her chest enlarges.

“How do you feel?” I look Ocean in the eyes; her soul is not neon pink, but it’s definitely not purple anymore.

She considers, “I'm not as out of control with the lust as I used to be… I'm good.”

I nod, “Great!  I'll go set up Stephanie and your sister similarly.”

Ocean smiles as I walk back through the Keyhome network, ordering the summons to follow me, and buffing them up like I do all the crew members as I go… huh, is she checking out my rear? Eh, whatever, I do my share of staring.

I confirm things with Stephanie first, and give her the same treatment; ditto for Star (they both opt to do both bodies).

By the time I'm done, Euler finds me and interrupts, “You can do that to regular people too?”

Right, addict, “I can, yes….”

“Great!” she beams, “I'd like to never need to worry about getting stranded ever again.”

Well… I DID find her stuck on a planet originally… “Fine.  Here…” I cast, applying the same choices as I did on Ocean’s little body, and her chest expands ever so slightly.

She moans in pleasure, “Thank you, goddess, for your blessing.”

I shake my head as I go to collect some UPBs to make a new body… and Linda checks with me too, “I would like to know what it's like to travel the stars….”

I chuckle, “Fine.  Here you go…” and apply the spell to her as well.

“Thank you, my goddess,” my charmed minion replies, skipping off.

I shake my head as I collect the UPBs.

I needed to remake my body anyway… Minute Form will work much better, making me just three inches tall, allowing me to (once I scale things down) install a good sized apartment within my body for when I want some ‘me time’... not that I ever used it before, I just always stayed connected. Still… it comes with a much better Dexterity bonus, which is good for skills, and the strength penalty won't matter once I'm plugged in, as I'll be using my body's strength score… it's also compatible with Paragon Surge, which will be important when crafting the ships into Animated Objects.

As I'm about to start work, I pause: I can get a Storm Giant in here, make it count as fey via Share Link, and use Enable Function repeatedly with Attuned Mysticism to give it the Open Minded feat to load it up with skill points. At nineteen hit dice, that could do some serious improvements, as powered armor can be upgraded… yeah… I'll do that… oh, but I should get it upgraded with a Machine Telepathy Clyster first, as that will let her hit item level twenty… yes….

I go to my crafting Demiplane, set up a summon that way, and order her through what I want, including giving a Permanent Image of the final result for reference. I consider, and set up more summons the same way, ordering up two Specialist Series Hardlight suits (it's as good as light armor gets), with a Lightwarp Inlay (one slot: the technological invisibility will go well with my Mythic ring), a Ghostmarch Unit (one slot: for when I want to go through walls), Mark 4 Flashbinders (one slot: it briefly blinds folks nearby), a Teleportation unit (one slot: teleport a few hundred feet, twice a day), a Mark II spell reflector (one slot: to turn spells back on their casters), two Silicone Armor Casings (one slot each: solar power… mostly useful for hybrid items that are essentially x/day), and an invisibility personal drop pod (two slots: it handles re-entry, and makes me invisible during). With my backup generator, that makes ten armor upgrade slots… but that's okay: The Hardlight suit I will wear under the iInfiltration Skin will take six at no penalty, and the one I'll put over it shares six upgrade slots with the Infiltration skin… I have room to spare, which I fill with Concealed Compartments (storage that blends in with the armor).

It's a crazy-expensive setup, but I have the UPBs to burn.

And while spells ARE better, I suffer my drawback when using them on people… so I also commission some weapons: A Warpshot Shirren-eye rifle (it can fire a VERY long distance), a Hammer Staccato Rifle (it deals a lot of damage at range), a Radial Dirge Pistol (it does a lot of damage for a small arm, and doesn't need much power, so I can fire it for quite a while before I need to reload), a Crackdown Shout Projector (it deals damage in an area, which is nice for a weapon that uses charges), an Elite Irising Shield (it’s extra armor class, and can hold more armor upgrades, bringing my maximum to fourteen…), a Dimensional Slice Longsword (it does a lot of damage in melee if anyone gets too close), and of course, ammunition for all of the above (mostly batteries), and a couple grenades (both high end non-lethal riot and very lethal frag varieties).

Now, normally, the plan is to keep all sets of armor worn (and upgrades installed), the shield non-deployed, the sword and pistol on my belt, the Crackdown Shout Projector mounted in my new body (yes, it can do that: I'll be able to fire explosive blasts of non-magical sound from my hands… that DON'T have Patricia's side effect), and the two rifles on my back whenever feasible. When I have reason not to be seen wearing weapons, I plan to place the forbidden things in my Keyhome… or maybe just make them all Invisible via spells. Hmm….

While they're building (I have enough summoned minions doing the work that it will only take eight hours of time on my crafting plane, so four hours of real time) I setup my buffs to allow myself to craft magical constructs: Enable Function for Craft Wondrous Item and Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Paragon Surge for Craft Construct (feats from Eable Function can't be used to satisfy requirements for other feats from Enable Function, but that doesn't apply to other sources of feats, so this works), create my supplies, and get to work.
