Valen orders Chloe to find that person only to ask what the purpose of doing that is.
"Take him to my father's study! I'll try him there!" Valen said with a cold expression.

Kenzo sat back in his original place because he didn't want to interfere with Valen's business. Because he knew that the person who did that was just an ordinary human. Kenzo would only act when it came to Vampires and werewolves.
