Chapter 123: Lord Little Blue

After a long cold night, the daybreak brought with it a glimmer of warmth. The golden light of the sun softly caressed the forest and ignited the birds into a chorus of melodies.
At this time, Shad stood next to his tent and stared at the sun as its rays were burning his eyes. Nonetheless, he didn't look away. His eyes were glued on the beautiful yellow and red rays of colors that filled the sky.
" It looked so real." He murmured to himself.
Even with the power of the Eye of the Red Lightning Dragon Emperor, Shad was still unable to prove that the golden ball of light in the sky was an illusion. However, deep down he knew that it wasn't the real sun as he was within the 1st floor of the Great Tower. Yet, it felt so real and warm like the real sun in the outside.
It was the second time that Shad wasn't able to see through something with his Eye power. The first time was when he came very close to the Great Tower, he tried to use his eye power to see whether he could see through the wall, yet, his vision and power was blocked by an unknown force. When he tried harder, he felt as though his right eye was being stabbed by a thousand needles. If he didn't stop trying, he's afraid that he would damage his right eye. And now again, he's looking at a fake sun in the sky which was clearly an illusion but couldn't prove it with his eye power.
" Just give up maggot, you won't be able to see through it ." While Shad was in a dazed looking at the sun in the sky and trying to see whether he could see through it with his eye power, he suddenly heard a loud and rude voice behind his back. That was voice was filled with contempt and seemed as though the owner of that voice was a supreme being that was above trillions of people.
As soon as Shad heard that voice, he suddenly became alert and looked around to see where that voice came from. Furthermore, he didn't recognize that voice. It was his first time hearing that voice. Moreover, from all the people that came with him in the Tower, none of them was crazy enough or had the capability to call him a maggot, except for his big sister. However, no matter how hard he looked, he couldn't find the owner of that voice.
" Looked down you maggot." The voice rang out again, but this time, with a hint of anger.
Shad who was looking around slowly looked down. And as soon as he did and saw the owner of that voice, he froze instantly because the owner of that voice was none other than that greedy blue thunder wolf who looked like a small winged blue cat.
That Danm blue thunder wolf knew how to talk! An 8th rank thunder wolf knew how to speak?
An ordinary magical beast could only transform into human form after breaking through the 10th rank and reaching the spirit beast rank. Only then they could speak in human tongue. Some beast with rare bloodlines and strong amounts of potential strength would have great difficulty in transforming into a human form such as a dragon. Usually, those beasts would need to reach the Saint beast rank before they could even transform into a human form. No matter what the situation was, the spirit beast or the 10th rank was the bottom line.
There's never been a beast below the 10th rank or the spirit beast rank that could talk in human tongue, yet that small blue wolf in front of him who was clearly an 8th rank beast was speaking in human tongue. So, it was no wonder that Shad was surprised.

" This is the apex of mastery over illusions, reality. With one thought, one could create illusions that are as real as reality itself. This sun you are staring at is one example of it, Even a God-king wouldn't be able to tell this level of illusions apart from reality, let alone a puny human mortal such as you." Listening to the small blue wolf, the perfect image and impression Shad had of it after knowing that it was able to talk suddenly shattered into multiple pieces. What replaced it now was irritation and contempt, he had never heard of someone as narcissistic as that damn greedy wolf who seemed to have an ego of a king.
" Hey, kid. you don't seem simple at all. It's the first time I've encountered a human that has a strong scent of the All Heaven Chaos Lightning Tower on him. Furthermore, You are not even part of the Beast clan." The small blue wolf stared at Shad with a confused look in its eyes as it spoke.
" What is the All Heaven Chaos Lightning Tower you are talking about ." Asked Shad a confused look on his face. Even though he had a feeling that it was talking about the Great Tower, he wanted to make sure. Plus, it seemed as though this greedy blue thunder wolf seemed to know a lot about the Great Tower.
" Are you that stupid maggot, you dared to enter the All Heaven Chaos Lightning Tower without even knowing its name or what it is. Are all human as stupid as you." Replied the small blue wolf with a dejected look on his face.
" Hehe, indeed I don't know anything about this place. it's my first time coming here. Would you mind telling me about this place." Answered Shad with a wryly smiling on his face. His guess was right, the blue wolf knew a lot about the Tower, if it could tell him a thing or two about the Tower, it would make his job easier.
" Of course, but you'll have to give three times the amount of red lightning energy that I swallowed from you the last time." Answered the blue wolf as he was licking his lips.
Shad suddenly furrowed his brow when he heard the blue wolf's demands. His guess was right, the blue wolf did indeed follow him because of the red lightning energy within his infinite space. However, Shad couldn't just give away bis red lightning energy. it took a huge amount mana just to create the red lightning energies so Shad didn't want to give them away or let the small blue wolf sucked him dry as he would suffer form man deficiency and had his strength reduced.
" If you want my red lightning energy that bad, why didn't you fight me or kill me to get them outside the Tower. you are clearly a rank higher above me." Shad said with a hint of mockery in his voice. He clearly was taunting the small blue wolf.
" Do you think this grand-daddy is stupid. If I was confident enough that I could kill you, I would have done it already. Plus, even if I was able to kill you, there's no guarantee that I could get the Heavenly Red lightning energy from your body, one of the nine heavenly lightning energy throughout the universe. Unlike magical beast, humans don't have any energy core within them."
" How about this, just give me twice the amount from the last time, and I'll show the exit to the 2nd floor and the 3rd." Said the blue wolf with a cunning look in his eyes.
" The same amount," Shad said with a decisive look on his face. Shad didn't know where to find the exit that leads to the 2nd floor in the first place, so if that damn blue wolf was able to tell him where to find it, not only he would save some time, he would be a step closer to catch up with the Eye.
