KFC
After trying my best to remove the idea of me getting of peoples pain that Wednesday brought up which was odd for her, I mean she was just teasing me, This all is really out of character for her, but well then again... I only know her personality form the show where she is Wednesday the Charecter just being played by a person, yet here she is an actual human with her own complex emotions and thoughts which I dont understand.
I drove for a bit and reached a nice KFC which is the only thing I can think of that is currently open.
Wednesday was just staring at me with her blank face making it impossible for me to guess what she was thinking.
"... What? This is the only place open at this time of hour"
"Nothing, Just get something to eat is all"
I drove over to the drive through window and ordered for the both of us and drove to the parking lot and started eating the finger licking Chicken.
"Wednesday, The Machine is done now when we go back we will do the surgery"
She seemed to have frozen for a bit but just just resumed eating.
I took that as a yes and we eat up the food I bought cleaned out hands and I started driving back to the warehouse mentally preparing myself to do this
Jarvis must have already taken care of what I had said to Wednesday regarding the surgery after eating food so It should all be prepared but before that.
I made a stop at a 24/7 store and went to get some necessities for such a surgery like gloves, bedsheets, masks etc.
I got back into the car and started driving back in silence when Wednesday who was besides me, spoke.
"What did you get?"
"Just some neccesary items required when doing surgery, Sanitizers, gloves and the likes"
"Are you nervous?"
"Heh, Yea I am nervous.... no matter how many fail safes I build that nervousness for something like this wont go away easily"
"There is really not a need to do this James, This could very well go horribly wrong"
"Wednesday... I trust what I have built, Because it's me who built it, Now how can I not have trust in myself?"
"Sounds like Overconfidence to me, This is an absolutely crazy plan... But"
But? She didnt continue... What is after But??
I drove the car all the way to the warehouse which was not actually that far I just drove at a normal speed so it took a bit longer and the entire trip back I was wondering what Wednesday was gonna say.
I drove the car inside and saw the arranged bed I will be laying down on along with the holographic table which was besides the bed holding the Medicines and tools Jarvis created.
"Sigh, Its time, Are you ready Wednesday?"
"Heh I should be asking you that"
"Well let's do it then"
I placed tbe items that were neccesary I had bought from the store which were common items, Machines that monitor my heart rate and the resuscitators and the like was built by Jarvis, as an extension to one of his arms.
I removed my coat and Unhooked my top part the shirt and laid down on the bed with my exposed back facing up.
"Jarvis lets do this"
"Yes Sir, Miss Wednesday please come over here and prepare according to the procedure I had mentioned previously"
One thing I found truly convenient about Jarvis is that since he is always listening he prepares for it all, For example the items I bought from that store was from a list provided by Jarvis a few hours earlier as a necessity to get, or else Jarvis would not have done the surgery on me as that has a high risk of danger to my life and health.
I could not see much other than Wednesday feets moving along with Thing crawling and doing the procedures Jarvis had mentioned to the two of them.
I noticed how Thing would also be helping in this surgery where my nape would be sliced open and wires and such would be connected to my nerves connecting straight to the part of my brain responsible for storing information, Along with making sure one part of my brain does not suddenly imbalance itself due to the large information being poured in at once so it keeps it all in balances that is just one of the many security forms I had thought of and let's not forget the fail safes I have in place in case something goes wrong.
This connection to the nerves will be temporary so after the knowledge is transferred all these wires connecting to my nerves will be removed and my cut will be sealed back up, After all I dont want to leave a mechanical machine connected to my nape now would I.
It reduces many potential risks and also, This machine was never built to be permanent, After all even for me such a short amount of time, I can only make work temporarily.
Back to Thin, with our current reputation with each other I dont quiet feel safe having this surgery done with him working as an assistant.
"Wednesday I dont think Thing helping out will be a good idea, he seems like he will take any chance to kill me... Afterall I have not been the nicest to him"
Wednesday spoke in a calm as a still lake tone.
"He wont do such a thing, Right Thing"
I could see things body so I was waiting for some response but Thing did not move.
"Thing.."
She raised her voice slightly and looked at thing compelling him to "speak"
Thing seemed reluctant but after some time, Thing finnaly decided to start doing his Hand signs.
"He says he will do it if you learn sign language"
Huh that is easy and it's not like I have anything personally against thing so why not.
"Sure I promise I will learn sign Language, As a matter of fact if this surgery goes well then... Jarvis add sign Language and maybe a few more languages like Russian, Chinese, Japanese umm I dont know Like French, Arabic I mean really there is not much of a issue learning these things, Rather these can be Just super convenient for future related things that might pop up so Jarvis go crazy add all the Most recognized Languages in the world"
"That will not be an issue Sir"
"Good, so Thing are you cool with it?"
Thing threw up a thumbs up and I smiled and threw him a thumbs up back.
I got up around and connected the tape type item that Jarvis will be using to monitor my body, I laid back around after it was all done and patiently waited, I chose not to make myself pass out for this surgery mainly due to me not wanting to leave everything upto chance, and atleast if I'm awake and something goes wrong I can instruct Wednesday and thing about how to proceed, I know that Jarvis can do that aswell, but I guess it is scary not even knowing what's happening to you so I prefer to know what's going on, Its kind of like a self satisfaction.
[Okay so Next POV will not be a repeat so I guess celebrate... I dont know dude.
