Whispers in the Wind: An Enigma Unravels

"Jarvis, what's the status of the approaching storm?"

"The storm has split from the massive tornado and is headed straight for the warehouse, Sir. I estimate it'll reach there in no longer than 20 minutes."

"How much time do I have until it hits the Warehouse?"

"20 minutes or less, Sir."

I swore under my breath, knowing that I couldn't let the tornado hit the warehouse. The table could be easily replaced, but losing Jarvis's laptop was not an option. I had to act fast.

I pressed the accelerator to the floor, causing the car to speed up rapidly as I swerved past the traffic on the road. The sandstorm made it increasingly difficult to see the road, but I didn't let it slow me down.

The tornado sirens were blaring loudly, and I could hear the police officers trying to get me to stop with their loudspeakers, but I ignored their warnings and continued to drive at breakneck speed.

The sandstorm made it harder to see, but the surround sensors I had installed in the car after the "Thing" incident helped me navigate around the other vehicles on the roads much more easier then it would have been otherwise.

I arrived with just 15 minutes left before the storm hits the warehouse, i was really grateful for my driving skills that got me here so fast and ofcourse the car.

The sand was flying everywhere, making it difficult to see, but I managed to make it to the gate and drive inside as the gates opened.

With the sound of the doors closing behind me, the sand inside the warehouse settled, and I breathed a sigh of relief. I quickly got out of the car and rushed to the Table and grabbed the laptop from the table and placed it in the car, along with the old arc reactor.

I quickly purchased a 2TB USB stick from the system shop and inserted it into the table which costed about 1 spoint.

"Jarvis, install all files into this USB and then delete them permanently from the table," I said. I wanted to ensure that even if someone found it, they wouldn't have access to my data.

Jarvis responded with a simple, "On it, sir."

The holographic table displayed a red bar, indicating the progress of the download.

I nodded, acknowledging Jarvis's response, then walked over to the metallic flooring and stepped on it, unlocking the leg armor that covered my legs.

As I walked forward, my entire body was covered in armor, thanks to Jarvis's assistance, until I was completely armored.

I took off my mask and turned to face the computer screen, watching in satisfaction as the downloading bar finally turned green. successfully completing the transfer.

I gave a small nod to myself as I approached the table. I extracted the USB from the computer and placed it carefully into the car.

I approached the table once again and asked Jarvis, "Has the data been permanently wiped?" I needed to make sure that no trace of the information remained.

"Yes sir, the data has been completely wiped." Jarvis answered back as I let out a sigh of relief at the good news.

I quickly opened a drawer and retrieved a weapon I had created as a precautionary measure. It was an odd-looking gun that I had designed specifically for situations where I would need to track down the Wendigo in situations I had lost the location of Wendigo like the time it had dissapered into the forest.

I was gonna put this tracker in the Wendigo's Body soon, Just didnt expect it to be this soon.

I made my way over to the metal cage, as Jarvis unlocked it. The immortal Wendigo was inside, its head appearing to have been crushed recently.

The monster was smaller in size, almost resembling a malnourished child. Despite its weakened state, it still managed to let out a growl of anger as it glared at me.

I aimed my odd-looking gun at the immortal Wendigo and fired. The bullet flew through the air, piercing through the damaged part of the monster's head. It disappeared inside, and the monster let out a shrill cry as I closed the metal cage, trapping it back in darkness.

I made my way to a plain section of the holographic table and double-tapped it in a specific location. The smooth surface slowly opened up, revealing the old arc reactor within, connected to an array of wires.

"Wednesday, I need your assistance," I said, beckoning Wednesday who was busy taking apart the weapons I Jarvis had meticulously placed around the warehouse for its safety.

As she approached me, I could see the curiosity in her eyes and she asked, "What's up?" I responded by asking for her help in separating the maze of wires that surrounded us.

With a simple nod, Wednesday got to work, following my lead as we tackled the intricate web of wires. Working together, we were able to complete the task in half the time it would have taken me to do it on my own.

I couldn't help but feel grateful for Wednesday's presence, it definitely made the task much easier.

"Sir, the tornado is rapidly approaching, it's only five minutes away," a voice - that of Jarvis's - informed me as I frantically disconnected the Arc reactor from the table. The lights flickered and died, the once bright and lively room now plunged into darkness as Jarvis's hands shut down.

While I tended to the Arc reactor, Wednesday had returned to dismantling the guns that were attached to the warehouse.

With a hurry, I walked over to my car and saw the back seat overflowing with firearms, a sigh escaped my lips involuntarily.

"Wednesday, do we really need all of these guns?" I asked, gesturing to the stockpile in the back of my car.

Wednesday approached me, two M16s in her hands, her expression unreadable.

"I understand your concerns," Wednesday said, her voice even. "But I need these for target practice. Shooting at live targets with a bow and arrow is just too easy."

"Alright," I said with a shrug, settling into the driver's seat of the car. I cast one final look at the warehouse, unsure of whether the impending tornado would wreak havoc on the building.
