It has been a month since I learned the move, and now I am challenging my sister to reaffirm my dominance. Well, not exactly that, just that after learning , the giant dog was forced by my mother to teach me other moves like and . Because of that, I had to be bitten by him, and I had no choice but to endure his painful bites because I didn't want to lose to my sister, who was learning moves at an incredibly fast pace. When I finished learning those Stoutland moves, our mother started teaching us moves that both of us could learn.

She explained to us that learning the moves was just the beginning and that we had to start practicing them until we mastered them completely. Therefore, if we simply know how to use many moves, it really doesn't mean anything other than being able to use moves that have type advantages against other Pokémon. It's not that I'm trying to find faults out of envy for the move that my sister has.

Right now, I'm in front of my sister at a distance of about 20 m in a clearing in the forest that is quite close to our burrow. It seems like my sister and I are in a staring contest because neither of us dared to make a hasty move until I took the initiative and used . Just at that moment, my sister shortened our distance using , and I jumped to the side, avoiding her attack while my clone tried to bite her.

She gave a little spin and looked in the direction of my clone before electricity started coming out of her hand, and she attacked my clone with , thinking it was me, only for my clone to disappear in smoke. But my clone was just a feint to give me time to move away with , and I started using several times until I had three more clones.

My sister seemed annoyed by what I did; she hates using moves that are not direct attacks, and the fact that I use them bothers her quite a bit.

It's not like I want to use this strategy, but if I simply face her in hand-to-hand combat, my defeat will be set in stone because she is much faster than me; besides, she knows fighting-type moves.

My sister used again and hit one of my clones, but this time, it wouldn't flee. I lunged towards her with my clones, but when my clones were about to attack her, she attacked one of them with her ear, then made a jump and kicked another of my clones.

When my third clone was about to bite her, her hand began to envelop in fire, and she launched to dissolve my third clone into smoke. When she looked in my direction, I was already quite close, and I used , causing her to stagger a bit, and she didn't have time to try to retaliate. So I opened my mouth and started using to bite her arm. But when I succeeded, I saw how she endured the pain to release a smile, and when I tried to move away, I felt a strong blow to my head, throwing me several meters away from her. The pain I felt from that blow was overwhelming, and I had to endure it as best as I could.

Not wanting her to take advantage, I used as fast as I could to gain some time. But I could see her body starting to release a faint reddish glow, which meant that I managed to burn her.

I noticed that she didn't look so injured despite receiving my with the defense decrease from . It only took me a moment to realize the reason for her smile; she must have hit me with , absorbing some of my health and due to the type advantage, the impact was much greater than it should have been compared to an attack of another type. But it's a shame because I noticed how her smile disappeared when she saw the red aura that covered her, she must be really feeling the burn effect. So it's best to end this battle as quickly as possible.

I used , and she prepared to use another punch attack, but she didn't expect that, instead of confronting her head-on, I transformed into a Pidgey and flew over her using the momentum from . When I was hovering over her back, I returned to my Zorua form, and when I was about to use , our mother appeared in an instant to stop my attack.

"Lopu-Lopunny (That's enough for today)," said our mother before giving some Safre berries to my sister. Although the Safre berries started taking effect, the burn didn't disappear instantly like in the games; it gradually diminished.

After my victory, a cocoon with the appearance of tree leaves approached me and started snuggling against my body. "Swa-Swadloon! (Congratulations, you achieved another overwhelming victory)." I felt a bit happy to hear its praise, especially because a week ago, it gained wisdom upon evolving while having a small battle with Rattatas.

"Thanks for your support," I praised it a bit, and I saw how my sister recovered from the burn before starting to walk in my direction with a frustrated look.

"Bune-Buneary (Alright, I admit it. I'll also try to improve in using status moves)." Even though she looked quite frustrated, it was very good news for me because I finally got her to accept my request. For the past two weeks, I've been asking her to also try using moves that are not just direct attacks because it's very reckless to believe that brute force alone can solve everything.

"At least you did very well. The fact that you used one of your arms as bait to attack me caught me completely off guard. I'm not sure if I can defeat you if you use other moves." I saw how she calmed down and became somewhat happy with what I said.

Our mother approached us and said, "Lopu-Lopunny (Both of you have improved a lot in a very short time; I'm very happy for both of you." She gave us both a hug, but in no time, the Swadloon cocoon that seemed to feel left out joined us.

Suddenly, I started to feel a bit hungry and told the three of them, "I'll go hunting; I'll be back later" when we had finished our hug.

"Lopu-Lopunny (Good luck)," Mom always says that when I tell her I'm going hunting.

"Bune-Buneary (Come back soon and don't take too long. I want to play hide and seek with you)." My sister likes us to play hide and seek, or rather to try to find me disguised as other Pokémon. It turned out to be very fun to try to blend in with wild Pokémon using my illusion.

"Swa-Swadloon! (I want to play too!)" Swadloon said, full of energy.

"Alright. I'll be back as fast as I can," I said before transforming into a Pidgey and started flying away through the forest.

Our burrow is located in one of the most peaceful areas of the forest, where only non-evolving Pokémon are found. Many Pokémon leave their offspring that have already lived for a while in this place because there are no predators here, and if one appears, they expel it. I can't hunt in this part of the forest because it would alert the Pokémon, and the place that seems friendly to everyone would become a completely hostile area, harming the relaxed atmosphere in our burrow.

So I have to hunt weak Pokémon in a quite distant area, and I have to be careful to select my prey.

I observed from the sky the area I arrived at, which had many fewer trees, and my prey was much more visible. I perched on a fairly tall tree and started looking at the place, identifying the Pokémon before noticing something strange.

I looked at a point that was quite far away and could see a familiar silhouette. I approached at a considerable distance but not enough for them to see me and be alerted to my presence.

When I finally could see the silhouette, I could confirm that it was a human.

What did you think of the fight? Too short? Too long? Too boring? Entertaining?

A friend suggested that I include the movements of the characters at the end of the chapter to provide a bit of context to the readers. However, if I receive many comments stating that it is not necessary, I will stop doing it.
