Chapter 44: Slave command
Ben's heart was stunned in fear, his mind was completely blanked out. He did not even know what to do now, why he even allowed this battle to happen.
The blasts and sparks started to slow down, indicating the end of the spell. But the blue flames covering them were still ablaze, similar to the menacing smile on Freya's face. Ben was looking for options before something unprecedented happened, and that's when a notification popped out on his screen.

Something popped in Ben's mind, as he recalled his slave pact with Freya. This is indeed an option, he can just command her to sleep and everything will be fine, at least he can buy enough time to take her away from people.
"But how do I use a slave command?" Ben asked, in panic not knowing how to use the Slave Crest abilities.

"Alright then," Ben muttered, as his red eyes began to glow in crimson light, and with a serious tone in his voice he said, " I command you to sleep".
As if waiting for his command, the purple crest on Freya's chest appeared again, glowing like a plasma passing through it. As the crest took over, a sudden heaviness filled Freya's eyes. The devil controlling her was aware of what was happening.
In the next few seconds, Freya's body fell loose as she slowly fell asleep, along with the purple flames surrounding them.
"Are you guys alright?"
Ben heard a concerning voice from behind him, just when he turned around to face the voice, he found out that it was none other than Alex, who was using some kind of artifact in his hand which was absorbing all the flames around.
"Yes I am fine, but Freya is unconscious due to heat," Ben answered, standing up as he picked the silver-haired girl on his back.
"I am sorry, it's our fault. Ray always goes overboard when it comes to battles, I should have been more careful with this." Alex said with a genuinely apologetic expression as he turned off the pot-like artifact in his hand.
"No... it's actually...she was the one who started first," Ben said with a sigh. In the beginning, all he wanted to do was punch Ray in the stomach until his guts came out, but thinking again it was also a mistake on his side to let Freya fight Ray.
"It took me a while to get this from the storage room, but as long as it worked out," Alex said, looking at the brown clay pot in his hands. Judging by looks it was just a normal clay pot but how the blasts and fire from earlier were all absorbed by this pot, this was magical equipment.
"Well, don't worry, as long as everyone is fine. By the way...I never expected Ray to be this strong." Ben said, trying to change the topic and step out of the awkward conversation.
"Ray is strong? Bruh...you have gotta be kidding me." Alex chuckled as if he heard a joke or something.
"That move you saw there was his Terrain Activation, as it's not even mature bruh. The time it takes to activate and all, any enemy would walk out of it."
"Not to mention...he has a price to pay, for using an immature skill," Alex said, pointing at Ray, who was standing in the same pose for a while as if he was frozen in the air.
"And that is?"
"He will stay like that for 3 hours." In a tone of sarcasm, Alex replied with a smile.
"Ahh...well. He is still strong though. I will go and see my guard duty...You can just inform me when my shift is over." Ben said, walking out of the door.
"That will take more than 3 hours, though, don't you think you should let Freya rest in here?" Alex asked, feeling a little disappointed, thinking that Ben now has trust issues thanks to him.
Ben, on the other hand, was looking at Freya's status with his lips twitching.
