Chapter 35

A month had passed since my fight against Nnoitra and Yammy, and I was starting to get used to my newly awakened segunda etapa.

Surprisingly, Aizen hadn't said a word about my newfound power. Even during his long speeches about his plans, he didn’t mention my new power or the desire for other Espadas to awaken it.

From my side, everything was progressing smoothly. Cirucci, for instance, had grown significantly stronger since joining my ranks. I'd say she was now on par with Aaroniero, the former Espada Nueve. Of course, I hoped for her to grow stronger before the start of the upcoming war.

Meanwhile, Asguiaro was making steady progress. Just last month, he was struggling to lift a 100-ton rock, but now Cirucci had him carrying a 250-ton one while she perched on top of it.

However, there was one strange development I couldn't quite shake off. Whenever I visited Harribel's fraccion to ask out Cyan sung-sun, I couldn't help but feel Harribel’s stare at me with some sort of hopeful stare.

It actually made me shudder, something I hid in public, since I knew her stare contained no lust in them. Despite the discomfort it caused me, I tried to brush it off in front of my girls.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize Cyan Sung-Sun had woken up until she spoke up.

"You're doing your inner monologue thing again." She said, grinning and attempting to fix her disheveled hair.

“Yes.” I replied, feeling like a child caught in the act. "It helps me organize my goals."

“Don't be so noisy.” Cirucci grumbled, her hollow mask's remains, shaped like a spiked hairpin on her left forehead, were buried within my pillow.

She didn't bother to open her eyes as she spoke, her voice muffled by a blanket.

Cyan Sung-Sun raised an eyebrow at Cirucci's complaint. "She is as moody as ever."

I shifted in bed, feeling tired of my bed.

Today was one of these weird days where these two girls sneaked into my bed to sleep with me at the same time without fighting each other.

It was something so rare that I wouldn’t be surprised even if I Aizen announced the clown day of Hueco Mundo as a holiday.

However, it wasn't as enjoyable as it may seem. Not because anything happened between the girls and me, but because they both decided to sleep in my bed at the same time.

I didn't mind sharing a bed, but it was hard to sleep with them rubbing on me all night while they sleep-talked.

Some may think I'm lucky, but I'm not into threesomes so it was a long night of tossing and turning for me.

Anyway, it was over and I had a new mission to accomplish today.

“We promised Szayelaporro Granz that we would visit him before noon.” Sung-sun said, looking at the sleeping Cirucci with disapproval. “Let’s leave the purple log behind.”

Noon being a foreign concept to hueco mundo that was introduced by Aizen’s artificial sky. I actually haven’t bothered to check if it matched Japan's noon since I was too lazy.

“I know, I don’t want to hear another half hour theory about how time is important again.” I said, recalling my last visit to his lab to get an acid for my training. “He is such a boring fellow, but we need his abilities.”

Sung-sun rolled her eyes, but didn't argue further. I lifted Cirucci's limp body off the bed, ignoring her muffled protests and Sung-sun's hard gaze.

“Darling, just let me go change my clothes.” Cirucci pleaded, her tone a mix of annoyance and frustration.

“Hold still or I'll drop you.” I warned, but I couldn't help a small smile from forming.

“Here, let me help you,” Sung-sun offered, yanking my pillow off Cirucci's head rather harshly.

“Watch it, crazy woman.” Cirucci snapped, her anger rising.

Feeling the boiling pot about to explode, I decided it was best to leave before things got out of hand.

“I'll give you both a few minutes to change.” I said, gently lowering Cirucci back onto the bed.

As I walked towards the door, I could feel their burning gazes on my back. I wasn't a coward, but I knew better than to get in the middle of their squabbles.

After all, they were both strong-willed women who could hold their own.

Aonte

We start a new mini arc where Acidwire will try to win over other arrancars while Ichigo is a few days away from being trashed by Byakuya and Urahara.

Omake: Agreement

Last night.

Cirucci Sanderwicci and Cyan Sung-sun looked at each other warily.

"We can come to a truce for today." Cirucci said, surprising Cyan. "We need to thank him for his idea that will benefit us all."

Cyan nodded reluctantly, still not pleased with the idea of giving in to her fellow arrancar's whims.

"He better appreciate it." Cyan muttered under her breath.

Both of them entered Acidwire’s room, ready to reward him with a peaceful night, or so they believed.
