Thomas has decided to become my vassal, albeit on a trial basis.
Of course, now that I’m a vassal, I want to leave some work to him.
Since he is very capable, I would like him to do some important work, but it would be a problem to immediately put him in charge.
For the time being, I think he should follow his sister Mireille’s instructions and manage Lamberk.

Finally, after discussing the matter with Ritsu and the others, it was decided that Thomas would be entrusted with the training of Canale’s soldiers.
When he fought in Beltud, the troops he led were undoubtedly the best of the best.
It was proof that he had been training them properly.
I left some of the training to Ritsu, but if Thomas did it, it would be less of a burden on Ritsu and more of an advantage.

Recently, the economy has been gradually improving, and the tax revenue has been increasing.
After lowering the tax rate slightly to eliminate dissatisfaction among the people, the tax revenue has gone up, which is probably a sign that business transactions have become more active.
Sometimes when I walk around outside, I feel that the market is more active than before.
The tax revenue has gone up, which means there are more people to hire.
I need to keep looking for them.
As usual, I started interviewing the possible vassals.
I couldn’t find any highly talented personnel today either.
However, there were two men who had B aptitude for magic and B aptitude for cavalry, so I decided to take them.
Their military prowess was reasonably high, and their other stats were low. In terms of simple status, they were not up to the hiring standards, but looking at their aptitude, they seemed to be capable of playing an active role as magic cavalrymen.
The interview progressed, and I reached the last person.
So far, I had only considered hiring two candidates for the magical cavalry.
The last one was a woman.
Her bangs were awfully long and her eyes were hidden.
Her age was probably in her early twenties to late teens.
She was of average build.
She was wearing plain gray clothes.
Her face is downcast and she does not lookup.
She appears to be nervous.
“Welcome to Canale Castle. I am the Lord of the castle, Ars Louvent.”
“…” (Gloomy Girl)
She seemed to move her mouth a little, but I couldn’t hear her voice.
Her voice was very quiet.
I knew right away from the little exchange that she would not have a very upbeat personality.
In the first place, I don’t even know if she really wants to become a vassal.
There was a possibility that someone had ordered her to come here and forced her to do so.
