We successfully hired the mercenary group Bangle.
There were several other mercenary groups that came to us, but few of them were worth hiring, and we ended up hiring only Bangle.
The mercenary group Bangle decided to be stationed near the state of Sights on the west side of Canale County.
The state of Sights is still quiet, but they might start to attack us soon. We should be more vigilant.
Besides, the security near the state border is beginning to deteriorate.
As the war seems more and more futile, the morale of the soldiers begins to decline, and eventually, some of them start to desert. Deserters, in some cases, become bandits.
Since Sights originally had a large army, the number of deserted soldiers was also quite large, so the number of bandits became very large.
Canale County, which is on the state border with Sights, had also felt the flow of bandits.
To maintain security, it was more convenient to keep the Mercenary Corps Bangle in the west.
Let’s hope that they will be successful in the battles.

The Mercenary Corps Bangle had quickly achieved some success in exterminating the bandits.
During the past few weeks, we have been searching for new recruits and have been lucky enough to find 10 people who are skilled in magic.
Two of them had a high aptitude for Cavalry. We are still a long way from forming a Magic Cavalry Unit, but we are getting closer step by step.
In addition, we found 12 people who are skilled as Infantry.
They were assigned to Braham’s elite soldier corps.
This unit has the potential to possibly become one of the most powerful soldier corps in the entire province of Messiaen, given the high potential of Braham.
They still lack a captain, though.
Anyway, we have hired quite a few mercenaries and acquired a lot of human resources in a short period of time, so we have decided to suspend recruitment for a while.
Too much increase in personnel in a short period is bad for our finance.
We also need to train newly recruited personnel, so if there are too many, the efficiency of training will also suffer.
There are still many personnel needed.
If I were to take a break, it would be for a month or two, and I have decided to take a short break here.
However, if I don’t do any appraisals, I will have much less to do.

I have left the management of the territory and other matters to my vassals to a large extent. If I ask them to help me now, I might be dragging them down.
However, I could not just sit back and do nothing.
After thinking about what to do, I decided to study the world again.
I had been studying since I was a child, but lately, I had been neglecting it.
Many of my vassals are very knowledgeable. It may not make much sense for me to cram in knowledge now, but as a lord, it is not good to be too ignorant.
As for my studies, until now Ritsu had been teaching me.
However, I can’t ask him to do so, especially now that he is very busy.
Russell also seems to be busy with his own studies and research. I can’t let myself take up his time.
I can study alone, but I will definitely make more progress if I study with someone… or if someone is teaching me.
Well, I can’t think of anyone else, so I’ll do it alone.
