The dark cloudy skies of the Land of Darkness actually separated apart and turned darker than a black hole. The shattered shining moon of Remnant even disappeared with all of the dark mana that Shadow had unleashed. "Roooooaaaaaaarrrr!!!" Salem screeched as she transformed into her Dark Goddess State, she was as tall as the Grimm Titan and her whole body was like a nightmare illusion(Refer to Vol. 5 Chapter 14), the walls and ceilings around the throne all vanished. Shadow's massive destructive attack collides with Salem's Dark Goddess form. Everything around them crumbled and x-shapes were seen all across the Land of Darkness mountains, ground, and valleys. Surely this was the apex of power. His Cero and Resangan had broken reality and shattered Salem's powerful illusion spell.
Neo eyes were shaking and she looked liked she was about to piss herself, her hands were up in the air saying in sign language 'I don't want any part of this shit'.
Cinder was beyond amazed and angered at the same time that this boy she found in the middle of nowhere in the Land of Darkness had the guts and soul to actually stand up to Salem, the most powerful being in Remnant, an immortal!
Cinder's heart was beating faster, she wanted Shadow all to herself. She had always wanted power ever since she was little and now that she sees Shadow's powerful abilities she couldn't control herself from ravaging his young body and taking his powers. She had a weird fetish for powerful 'men', something that was hard to find in Remnant.
Salem shot out a dark gravity beam from her red eyes and her whitish palms. Shadow's Cero+Resangan fused attack which shot out from his Nine-Tail-Wolf aura tails collided with Salem's dark gravity beam, he had shot another attack to counter her's. Both attacks sizzled and roared a thunderous sound of thunder and gusty tornado winds. Salem's whole castle fell apart, chunks of bricks and marble slammed down across the ground where both Gods were battling. It had become clear who was the stronger one in this battle. Shadow's blackish red glowing sparky energy ball attack whirled and slashed through Salem's dark beams and struck her head on.
"Master!!!" Cried out Tryian as he held on his bloody face, which was punched by Shadow.
Salem's entire body exploded on impact, millions of dark aura particles and atom particles sprang up into the air. Had Shadow just killed the most powerful being in Remnant!? Even if she was immortal there was no way she could survive such a destructive attack. A vortex of purplish mist surrounded the destroyed throne room.
'I actually fucking did it! This power I have inside of me is unstoppable! I knew choosing the Dark System was a good idea!" Shadow raised his fist up in the air with a victory pose. His whole body was bloody and full of battle marks, scars and gashes filled his skin and his black jacket and jeans were torn apart.
"You have made a grave mistake going against the dark ruler of all Remnant! This is my domain!" From the mist, Salem comes out, but she is in a much shorter and weaker form, Shadow's attack was so powerful that it had shrunk Salem into a loli! She still wore her infamous black and crimson robe, but now it was tighter against her tiny thick body, she was actually shorter than Neo!
Every villain in the throne room was beyond shocked, their eyes were popping out and their jaws were opened wide with disbelief of such an otherworldly sight.
'Tch, how the fuck is she alive!? I have to kill her quickly, my mana and aura reserves are fading!' Shadow charges ahead and uses his dragon aura claws to slice off Salem's head, he was faster than the speed of light in his Nine-Tail-Wolf Aura Mode. He was quickly blocked by an assault of weapons; A metal spear, knight sword, battle-ax, and scythe all repelled his attack. In front of Shadow's glowing red eyes was a group of four hooded figures that had metallic Grimm masks on. These helmets looked similar to Kylo Ren's metal helmet design mixed in with grimm bones.
They were Salem's most fearsome and elite warriors and they go by one name. Knights of Salem. One of the knights took off their helmets, and long stunning hazel hair went down this person's shoulders. Thunderbolts struck the ground behind the unmasked knight's face.
'No it can't be!!!?"' Shadow crazily gripped at the sides of his skull. The face in front of him was a face from his past life. A face that he hated more than anything in this world.
All the other knights stabbed Shadow on all various area's of his body, he couldn't dodge the attacks because Cinder and Salem had finally activated there mind control semblance. His body was frozen still, like time itself had stopped. Shadow couldn't escape the clutches of Salem's all mighty mind-control semblance, he was also too injured to fight it back. Salem needed him to drain all of his aura and mana so she could easily control his aura-flow, thus controlling his body and synapse movements. That's why she was waiting for the right time to use her Semblance.
The unmasked knight landed the final blow to Shadow's face with their steel gauntleted fist. His vision blacked out and he fell to the floor. Shadow had used up all of his energy and was outnumbered on top of that he had broken ribs, but he was so close to defeating Salem. If he had planned out his attacks he would have killed everyone in the throne room, but alas, he hadn't trained his powers to their fullest potential. He needed more time.
