While Jaune moved through the thick forest shrubbery and foliage, he suddenly felt something smack into him at crazy speeds, his body gave way as the two went tumbling across the ground.
Jaune felt something soft on his chest as he opened his eyes to see Ruby sitting on top of him with her back facing away from his face, her cloak draped over her head and she was struggling to pull it back in to place. Jaune immediately felt his face turn red as he stared at his future wife's black lace panties.
"What did I hit?" Ruby said as she fixed her cloak, once she could see she looked over her shoulder to see Jaune staring directly at her exposed bottom.
Ruby jumped up with a bright red face and stammered while she spoke, "Jaune, I...I...I'm sorry!"
"No, it's my fault for not looking where I was going," Jaune said with a bit of embarrassment.
"You didn't see? Did you?" Ruby asked with a very cute expression, her entire face was red, and her eyes were looking everywhere but at him.
Jaune stood up and scratched his head while he looked in a different direction to hide his blushing face, "I forgot how klutzy she is, guess Ruby's going to be my teammate now. I knew my actions would change the timeline, but, for it to happen so soon."
Looking at her red face Jaune couldn't help but laugh a bit, he then opened up a small looking compass that strapped to his wrist, "Okay Ruby lets head north."
"Jaune, you didn't see anything, right?" Ruby got closer and her face turned into half grumpy, half pouty.
Jaune coughed and said, "So, I got these."
"Neat compass." Ruby said looking at Jaune's new stuff, "Nice gun!" Ruby's eyes gleamed, "It's an S.C Model, right?"
Jaune let out a sigh of relief as he got her attention away from her question, nodded his head, Jaune pulled out Black Eagle and said, "Figured I need some range for the test, seems like I was the only one without a gun."
"Not a bad brand, they make their stuff heavy but reliable," Ruby said before stopping, "Did you hear that?'
"Sounds like someone is fighting," Jaune said as the two started to run, as the made their way through the shrubbery, Jaune and Ruby saw Blake and Yang staring at each other between a fallen Ursa Grimm.
"Yang!" Ruby launched out and hugged her sister, "Yay, were a team!"
Jaune waved his hand and said, "Yo!"
Just as the two were about to respond, Jaune pulled out his sword and stabbed out, while Ruby slashed upward with her scythe, Blake and Yang watched as they zipped past them and killed a pair Beowolf type Grimm.
As the Grimm launched from themselves from the bushes in a sneak attack attempt, Jaune's sword had already pierced through the tip of the Grimm's skull while Ruby's Cresent Rose cleaved her targeted Grimm down the middle.
Jaune looked at the dust like particles floating in the air and thought, "That was easier than expected, looks like fighting in this body won't be as hard as I thought it would be."
The sound of a chime rung in his head again, "Adolescent Beowolf killed, 10+ Exp earned."
Yang looked over Jaune and said "Not bad, you have some skill."
Blake nodded her head, "And a lot of Aura."
Ruby saw the thick outline that was made up of a pure white Aura, Jaunes shielding looked like it was almost a solid substance. "Wow." She stared at him with a blushed face, Yang saw her expression and grinned.
Jaune then breathed out and said, "It was nothing, should we continue north now."
Everyone noticed his compass, "Smart." Blake said as she nodded her head.
"Lead the way, Vomit Knight." Yang raised her fist into the air and shouted.
Jaune shook his head, "So, I've upgraded from Vomit Boy to Vomit Knight?"
All of a sudden Jaune heard a chime go off in his head.
"Title Unlocked! Vomit Knight: No special abilities."
Jaune sighed and thought, "Well that was pointless."
Yang placed her hand over her mouth, stifling her laugh, she didn't think Jaune would roll with it, when Ruby pushed her, "He's gonna be our partner, maybe you shouldn't call him that."
"Ohh, are you sure that's the only reason you don't want me to tease him?" Yang poked at Ruby's side while saying, "Huh? Huh? Huh?"
Ruby blushed and shouted, "Can we just move now!" and started to run off in the wrong direction, "Ruby, north is that way." Jaune shouted trying not to laugh.
Ruby stopped after hearing Jaune, she turned around and said, "Oh, yeah, I knew that." as she started to walk back.
Blake shook her head and said in a quiet voice, "What have I gotten myself into?"
They continued to travel towards the ruins for quite a while, along the way, they came across a few packs of Beowolves. Jaune and the rest made quick work of them, and he even ended up earning 130+ Experience for killing 13 of them.
Before they arrived a massive Nevermore flew over their heads making them frown, "What's a Nevermore doing so close to the city, this is weird." Blake said as they came out of the forest line and saw the relics lined up.
Jaune went over to them and picked up a Rook like he did before and stared at it with fond memories, "The last time I came here, It was completely underserved, this time I'll train to become the world's strongest hunter, I save Pyrrha and marry Ruby, and this time, I won't die, so many people can be saved with my knowledge."
Ruby walked up next to him and took a Knight, "I pick the horsie relic."
Jaune laughed as Blake and Yang picked up a Knight piece as well.
They suddenly heard someone yell, "Help!"
Pyrrha and Wiess came running out of the bushes while firing shots off at the giant Deathstalker that was charging at them.
Suddenly the Nevermore flew over them and started to circle them like pray, "Focus on the Death Stalker first, then we can focus on the Nevermore! Ground Forces before Air. Blake, Ruby can you keep the Nevermore off our backs." Jaune shouted as he ran towards the Deathstalker.
"Leave it to us Jaune! Ruby shouted as she turned her Cresent Rose into a sniper rifle and started shooting, Blake joined her and started running alongside Ruby as the Nevermore shot down feathers that stuck in the ground like blades.
Yang pounded her fist together and shouted, "Wait for me Vomit Knight!"
As the ran out a Large Ursa came falling down in their path, "Yay, we made it Ren, that was so fun," Nora shouted as she hopped down off the Ursa and gave the Grimm a look over, "Awe, it's dead Ren!"
Ren came wobbling out from behind the Ursa, "Never do that again Nora."
"Hey, hammer girl are you strong?" Jaune asked.
Nora looked to him and smiled, "My, name is 'No~ra! and I'm the strongest there is."
"Pretty Boy, you know how to use those guns?" Jaune asked.
Ren nodded his head yes and said, "I'm Ren."
"Good, help keep the Nevermore at bay, we'll handle the Death Stalker." Jaune pointed his blade at the Deathstalker's legs and said, "Help me break this guy's legs!"
Nora grinned and shouted, "Now you're speaking my language!"
The dashed out and Jaune started to focus his Aura around Corcea Mors and thought, "Please work!"
"Aura Ability: Aura Blade Level 5 Unlocked," Jaune was a little upset to see that he didn't master his Aura Blade ability like the rest of his Aura Abilities, it appears the technique he made to fight alongside everyone wasn't even fully developed.
Once his blade was completely covered in the white glow everyone was shocked at the density of Jaune's Aura, sharping and increasing the edges of his sword, Jaune felt his Aura drop around 10%, his sword suddenly started making creaking noises, making Jaune curse inwardly, "Damn, Corcea Mors's current condition can't handle the strain of my Aura!"
Jaune tightened his Aura closer to only surround the edges in a dim glow of his Aura, Nora and Jaune then dashed to the side of the scorpion-like creature as he shouted, "Yang! Stun it!"
Yang grinned and charged out with everything she had and punched it in the face, the ground cracked around its body, and as the Deathstalker put all its weight on its legs, they grew stiff and easy to cut.
Jaune and Nora went after its legs, swinging out with his blade, Jaune ripped through all four of the creature's left legs like he was cutting through butter, while Nora's hammer cracked and twisted her side into a tangled mess.
The Deathstalker's body collapsed onto the ground as it tried to sting Yang at the front, Jaune yelled out, "Weiss, freeze the tail, Pyrrha, drop the stinger on his head.
The two didn't waste time following his orders, as Weiss covered the tail in ice, Nora turned her weapon Miló into its rifle mode and shot the tip of the tail off so the stinger would fall into its skull.
Jaune shouted, "Nora! Give me a lift!" as he jumped up into the air, Nora smiled and said, "One-way ticket on the Magnhild express!"
With a powerful swing, her hammer flew into the bottom of Jaune's sneakers as he was shot up into the air.
Jaune flew up around 15ft before he started to fall back down, surrounding his shield in Aura, Jaune fell onto the stinger with a powerful, falling shield bash.
Jaune heard a chime go off in his head, "Aura Ability; Aura Shield Level 5 Unlocked."
Another 10% of Jaune's Aura dropped as his shield came into contact with his target, the stinger was thrust into the Deathstalker's head and its body turned to ash softening Jaune's fall.
"Adolescent Deathstalker Killed, 480+ Experience Acquired."
Before anyone could celebrate Jaune stood back up and said, "Now we take care of the Nevermore."
Pulling out his Black Egeal Pistol, Jaune pointed the barrel towards the Nevermore and fired off two shots, one was made from Fire Dust, and the other Lightning dust, when the two shots hit their target in the head, the Nevermore let out a screech of pain as the combined Dust lit up like a flash bomb.
Its body flew into the cliff side over the ruins and started to fall down the massive canyon, this gave everyone time to regroup, Ruby ran up to Jaune and shouted, "That was amazing!"
Everyone had to agree, Jaune's performance was quite the spectacle, as with just a few orders, he managed to help them take out a Deathstalker like it was nothing.
Before the rest could give him a compliment, the Nevermore scratched out from the bottom of the canyon as it started to fly back into the skies, more irritable than ever before.
"Well that bought us some time, you got a plan for this one too, Vomit Knight?" Yang called out.
Jaune did have an idea, however, after seeing Ruby's expression, she was clearly holding back her own idea, Jaune smiled and said, "I think Ruby's got one, why don't you share?"
Everyone looked to Ruby, "Umm... I think I'd rather hear Jaune's idea first."
Everyone turned to Jaune, he smiled and waved his hands in front of his face before saying, "Sorry, I'm not very good at aerial combat."
Everyone turned back to Ruby, "Okay so my idea works like this..."
Everyone listen in on her plan, and when she was finished Nora and Yang shouted, "That sounds so fun!"
"I'm s~o proud of you little sis!" Yang said as she wrapped her arm around Ruby.
Ruby looked a bit bashful and said, "Aw, it's nothing, shucks!" as she kicked her feet at the ground.
Pyrrha and Jaune just smiled at them, while the rest thought the plan was a little...extreme."

Ground Forces before Air. Blake, Ruby can you keep the Nevermore off our backs." Jaune shouted as he ran towards the Deathstalker."Leave it to us Jaune! Ruby shouted as she turned her Cresent Rose into a sniper rifle and started shooting, Blake joined her and started running alongside Ruby as the Nevermore shot down feathers that stuck in the ground like blades.Yang pounded her fist together and shouted, "Wait for me Vomit Knight!"As the ran out a Large Ursa came falling down in their path, "Yay, we made it Ren, that was so fun," Nora shouted as she hopped down off the Ursa and gave the Grimm a look over, "Awe, it's dead Ren!"Ren came wobbling out from behind the Ursa, "Never do that again Nora.""Hey, hammer girl are you strong?" Jaune asked.Nora looked to him and smiled, "My, name is 'No~ra! and I'm the strongest there is.""Pretty Boy, you know how to use those guns?" Jaune asked.Ren nodded his head yes and said, "I'm Ren.""Good, help keep the Nevermore at bay, we'll handle the Death Stalker." Jaune pointed his blade at the Deathstalker's legs and said, "Help me break this guy's legs!"Nora grinned and shouted, "Now you're speaking my language!"The dashed out and Jaune started to focus his Aura around Corcea Mors and thought, "Please work!""Aura Ability: Aura Blade Level 5 Unlocked," Jaune was a little upset to see that he didn't master his Aura Blade ability like the rest of his Aura Abilities, it appears the technique he made to fight alongside everyone wasn't even fully developed.Once his blade was completely covered in the white glow everyone was shocked at the density of Jaune's Aura, sharping and increasing the edges of his sword, Jaune felt his Aura drop around 10%, his sword suddenly started making creaking noises, making Jaune curse inwardly, "Damn, Corcea Mors's current condition can't handle the strain of my Aura!"Jaune tightened his Aura closer to only surround the edges in a dim glow of his Aura, Nora and Jaune then dashed to the side of the scorpion-like creature as he shouted, "Yang! Stun it!"Yang grinned and charged out with everything she had and punched it in the face, the ground cracked around its body, and as the Deathstalker put all its weight on its legs, they grew stiff and easy to cut.Jaune and Nora went after its legs, swinging out with his blade, Jaune ripped through all four of the creature's left legs like he was cutting through butter, while Nora's hammer cracked and twisted her side into a tangled mess.The Deathstalker's body collapsed onto the ground as it tried to sting Yang at the front, Jaune yelled out, "Weiss, freeze the tail, Pyrrha, drop the stinger on his head.The two didn't waste time following his orders, as Weiss covered the tail in ice, Nora turned her weapon Mil into its rifle mode and shot the tip of the tail off so the stinger would fall into its skull.Jaune shouted, "Nora! Give me a lift!" as he jumped up into the air, Nora smiled and said, "One-way ticket on the Magnhild express!"With a powerful swing, her hammer flew into the bottom of Jaune's sneakers as he was shot up into the air.Jaune flew up around 15ft before he started to fall back down, surrounding his shield in Aura, Jaune fell onto the stinger with a powerful, falling shield bash.Jaune heard a chime go off in his head, "Aura Ability; Aura Shield Level 5 Unlocked."Another 10% of Jaune's Aura dropped as his shield came into contact with his target, the stinger was thrust into the Deathstalker's head and its body turned to ash softening Jaune's fall."Adolescent Deathstalker Killed, 480+ Experience Acquired."Before anyone could celebrate Jaune stood back up and said, "Now we take care of the Nevermore."Pulling out his Black Egeal Pistol, Jaune pointed the barrel towards the Nevermore and fired off two shots, one was made from Fire Dust, and the other Lightning dust, when the two shots hit their target in the head, the Nevermore let out a screech of pain as the combined Dust lit up like a flash bomb.Its body flew into the cliff side over the ruins and started to fall down the massive canyon, this gave everyone time to regroup, Ruby ran up to Jaune and shouted, "That was amazing!"Everyone had to agree, Jaune's performance was quite the spectacle, as with just a few orders, he managed to help them take out a Deathstalker like it was nothing.Before the rest could give him a compliment, the Nevermore scratched out from the bottom of the canyon as it started to fly back into the skies, more irritable than ever before."Well that bought us some time, you got a plan for this one too, Vomit Knight?" Yang called out.Jaune did have an idea, however, after seeing Ruby's expression, she was clearly holding back her own idea, Jaune smiled and said, "I think Ruby's got one, why don't you share?"Everyone looked to Ruby, "Umm... I think I'd rather hear Jaune's idea first."Everyone turned to Jaune, he smiled and waved his hands in front of his face before saying, "Sorry, I'm not very good at aerial combat."Everyone turned back to Ruby, "Okay so my idea works like this..."Everyone listen in on her plan, and when she was finished Nora and Yang shouted, "That sounds so fun!""I'm s~o proud of you little sis!" Yang said as she wrapped her arm around Ruby.Ruby looked a bit bashful and said, "Aw, it's nothing, shucks!" as she kicked her feet at the ground.Pyrrha and Jaune just smiled at them, while the rest thought the plan was a little...extreme."
