Weiss wasn't sure what to think of him, she hated The White Fang and they deserved to be punished harshly. But killing them in such a cold manner wasn't okay for her. She believed making them receive punishment and imprison them was good enough while killing was not necessary. In general, she still viewed him as a friend, after all he acted like this because they put themselves in danger.
Yang didn't hate Mesa for his actions, she was just really angry. His actions were extreme and uncalled for. Many were killed, her partner cried and her sister was traumatized. What made it even worse, he didn't apologize or tried to explain himself. He just continued to act like usual indifferent and bored like he did nothing wrong. She kept wishing he would feel guilt for his actions, she loved him and didn't wish for him to lose the path of light and walk in darkness. Ren and Nora hearing the story didn't comment much about it, They may disapprove his actions, but they believed he was a good leader and only wanted to help his friends. They might think he didn't act in the correct way but he had a good intentions. They kept acting normally around him.

She decided to bet on her luck, she threw her two blade toward Mesa then took the scroll as fast as she could. She didn't waste any time watching Mesa reacting.
