It was a beautiful day in the Fairy Community.

Sai awoke in a good mood as he stretched his muscles.

The faelings seems to be chattering and giggling like hyena.

Rose was smiling a little two wide. “Ahh. Sleeping beauty has woken up.”

Sai could hear the mirth in her voice so he knew something was going on. Sai frowned, “What are you so giddy about?

Rose handed Sai a mirror.

Sai took the mirror and looked at his face. Someone had painted the words dum dum on his forehead.

In an instant Sai knew the culprit.

“Those evil lightbulbs!” Sai took his pillow and went to get his revenge.

The faelings were already flying away.

“Can’t catch us dumb dumb!”

“He’s super mad!”

“HAHAHA. His face!”

Sai was determined to get payback. “Get back here you flying light bulbs!”

If Sai even had a half of energy as those faelings he would rule the world.

Yet the faelings used their power for evil.

Rowana called Sai over, “Child it is time for dinner.”

Sai huffed and then discarded his pillow. He was going to have to defeat the faelings later.

Breakfast for Sai was carrot, carrot and more carrot.

Rachel was feeding the faelings soup while Rose and Rosa was eating their own breakfast.

Rachel then asked, “What is everyone planning to do today?”

Rowana answered, “I will be busy creating various poisons. I’ll be busy until summer comes around.”

Rose said, “Fall is coming so we got to make a lot of warmer clothes. I am going to work with the herd and make some clothes.”

Rosa said, “My crocheting is terrible. Yet I would rather be warm than cold. I will join Rose in making clothes.”

Sai answered, “I need to find an artist to make my manga. Can someone take me to the human city so I can look around.”

Rowana shakes her head, “Child, you know it's risky. You're considered a criminal, and the monarchy has been after you for a while now. Going to the city could put you in danger.”

“I understand the risks, but this is my dream. I can't let fear hold me back. I want to share the love of manga with the world.”

“I know you're passionate about your manga, but we need to be smart about this. Maybe we can find a way to make it work without putting you at risk.”

“I can't just sit here and do nothing. I need to take action or my dreams will never come to fruition.”

Rachel says, “Hey let's not argue about this. Sai, I understand your following your passion, but Rowana's right. It's dangerous out there for you right now.”

Sai replies, “Rachel, I appreciate your support, but I don't want to wait forever.”

Rachel then says, “I understand, how about you take some time to get stronger first? If you're more powerful, you'll have a better chance of protecting yourself in the city.”

Rowana nods her head in agreement, “That's a good point. Child, if you could reach at least level 20, you would be able to run away.”

Sai then replies “Alright new goal, I'll reach level 20 and then, I'll head to the city and find an artist to help me with my manga.”

Rowana nodded, “I will lend you Slither...”

Rowana reached into her Kibisis and took out a sleeping snake. She then shook him violently. “Wake up! Wake up!”

“Gah! Women are trying to kill me! I will be your end!” Slither yelled.

“Please take care of my child while I’m away.” Rowana said and handed the snake to Sai.

“Nice to see you again,” Sai said enthusiastically.

Slither looked at his graffiti and face and said, “Hello dumb dumb.”

Sai sighed he will need to put some elbow grease to the graffied on his forehead removed.

----

A cold wind blew as Sai stepped from the barrier that protected the fairy community into the Ironthorn Forest.

The air was chilly as Sai could see his own breath, with the leaves having a cold sheet covering them.

“Huh it is cold?” Sai said, breathing the crisp cold air. He loved the fall month since the cold never bothered him.

“Gah!” Slither went deeper into Sai pocket to get away from the cold. “I hate the cold more than I hate that blasted sun!”

“Is there anything you don’t hate?”

“I love hot nights.”

“You and I have completely different tastes in weather then,” Sai said. “Which way is the nearest dungeon? I want to level up until I reach level twenty.”

“Kid, let's take a shortcut,” Slither said. “I don’t want to be in this weather fighting Horned Dogs all day everyday.”

“What do you mean? How else am I going to get to a higher level?”

“Well first you get less glory fighting against Horned Dogs that are lower level then you,” Slither started to explain. “If you want to fight stronger Horned Dogs. You need to go on an expedition into the dungeon. That means you will need a team and a lot of preparation to survive. The better option is to hunt and kill strong Magic Beast in the forest.”

“Is that allowed?”

"The rule of the jungle applies as long as you're not in the Divine Beast territory."

----

A large group of rabbits were grazing on the grass.

Sai watched them closely from a tree, ensuring that the rabbits couldn't spot him.

Sai noticed the rabbits were level 5 or above. The highest was level 12.

Slither then asked. “What’s the plan?”

Sai said nothing and summoned green poison from the Greedy Vase.

He created eight green poison needles. With a mere thought,he sent them hurtling toward the rabbits.

The rabbit detected the attack and jumped away from the green needles.

The cluster of rabbits grew startled and quickly darted into the thicket of Ironthrown bushes, eluding Sai's view.

Slither commented, “That went terribly.”

Sai nodded miserably.

The rabbits were at the bottom of the food chain in the Ironthorn Forest. When faced with a dire situation, their strategy involved employing both magic and sheer numbers to overcome their enemies. However, their primary preference was to evade predators intent on making them a meal. These rabbits were known for their remarkable agility and large population.

Sai said with a sigh, “I have to make a better plan.”

----

On the ground lay a stick, propping up a barrel. Beneath the barrel rested a pile of carrots. Attached to the stick was a slender thread that extended to a nearby tree.

Sai was hiding behind the tree holding the thread. He was waiting patiently for the rabbits to fall into his trap.

Sai waited for what felt like hours.

The leader of the rabbit saw the carrots and was approaching the trap.

Sai licked his lips in anticipation.

The rabbit dashed to the pile of carrots.

Sai pulled the thread to activate the trap.

The trap failed to ensnare the rabbit in time, and the clever creature made a swift getaway, clutching a carrot firmly in its mouth.

The rabbit triumphantly started to nibble on the carrot.

The rabbit muscles started to twitch before lying down and dying.

Sai had poisoned the carrots.

Sai felt sad that the rabbit died. His consciousness was telling him to bury the body.

A ring sound alerted him. 'Level up!'

Sai said, "Blessing."

Sai moved the new points into Agility. His new Blessing Window reflected the change.

Sai nodded once and closed the Blessing Window. “For me to live that life I want. I need to sacrifice others.”

“Don’t be melodramatic, we are going to need to kill a lot. You’ll get used to it,” Slither advised.

“Let me bury the rabbit's body.”

“Or we can eat it.”

-_-

----

The rest of the day Sai was hunting rabbits. He killed many low level 8, 9 and 10 rabbits.

Sai had successfully killed another level 12 rabbit.

Sai had successfully level up. Now he was level 12 and moved all his remaining points into Agility.

Sai Blessing Window.

To Slither dismay, Sai had buried every rabbit he killed.

When Sai was finished he started to walk back home with Slither giving him directions.

Sai was happy he level up so fast. “Hunting rabbits takes a lot of waiting and patience. Still this is much easier than fighting against Horned Dogs.”

Slither shaked his head. “We’re going to have to start hunting hogs next. Rabbits are too low level to hunt.”

“I will be level twenty in no time.”
