Outside the West Spirit City, a massive army of 200,000 Orc soldiers was arrayed in formation, stretching as far as the eye could see. The raging winds swept across, seemingly carrying with them a killing intent that chilled one to the bone.

The Orc army under the command of the Bimon Tribe had finally caught up, but it appeared that they had no immediate plans to attack the city.

The commander of this Orc army was the fierce Bimon general, Lari, who stood over ten feet tall with two horns protruding from his head and a ferocious expression, wielding a heavy broadsword weighing over a thousand pounds. His combat strength was equivalent to that of an Earth-grade Warrior, and he was undoubtedly a powerful force to be reckoned with.

“Commander, why don’t we attack West Spirit City with all our might and wipe out the remaining forces of the Rhino Tribe?” an ominous voice came from a Dragon-men Tribe general beside him.

“West Spirit is easy to defend but difficult to attack. A direct assault on the city would result in the loss of tens of thousands of warriors, which is not worth it,” Lari replied, his face covered in rough, brawny flesh.  Although the Orc race generally had lower intelligence than humans, the higher-level orc races were not so, and there were many cunning and sly ones.

“So, are we just going to let them go? Once the main forces of the Rhino Tribe break through our defenses, we’ll be caught in a pincer attack,” the general said.

“No, the main forces of the Rhino Tribe are stuck in the Emerald Grasslands. If they come to rescue this remnant, their stronghold will be in danger. Therefore, the Rhino Tribe will definitely abandon this remnant,” Lari said confidently. “As long as we surround West Spirit City, it will collapse on its own.”

“But, Commander, the next blizzard is coming soon. It will be difficult to withstand the cold winds if we camp outside,” the general hesitated, aware that although surrounding West Spirit City was a good strategy, the weather in the north was unforgiving to both friend and foe alike.

“I know, but West Spirit City is home to many factions and adventurers from all walks of life. As long as we surround the city, it will soon descend into chaos,” Lari laughed heartily.

“Commander is wise,” the general exclaimed, eager to flatter his superior.

However, both Lari and the Lion Tribe leader, Kero, had made the same mistake. They were unaware that West Spirit City was already under the control of Qi Bei, and the remnants of the Orc army had already joined forces with him. Therefore, the chaos that Lari had predicted would never come to pass.

Qi Bei arrived at the city wall and saw the Orc army outside the city beginning to set up camp and light fires. He spoke up, “It seems they don’t plan to attack the city. I don’t know if they’re conserving their strength or if they want to surround us without attacking, but either way, it’s as if they’re digging their own graves.”

“Lord, it’s probably the latter. Judging from their camp, they are focused on defense and are likely trying to trap West Spirit City,” said Kero, the Lion Tribe Orc commander who was very familiar with Orc military tactics.

“Hehe, with this weather, a blizzard will hit in a few days. I think they’re trapping themselves,” Qi Bei felt much relieved that they weren’t going to attack the city.

“Lord, they probably don’t know that West Spirit City is under your control now. If they acted as they are doing now before, there would have been internal strife in the city,” Kero said.

Qi Bei nodded. Once the blizzard arrived, it would be much harder to attack the city. He didn’t believe the Orc army wouldn’t suffer casualties in the blizzard. But the city was much better off with homes to stay in and fires to keep warm.

The blizzard came earlier than expected. It was sunny during the day, but at night, the wind howled and snow fell heavily.

Fortunately, the construction of the slums in West Spirit City was almost complete. Over 100,000 poor people had moved in and didn’t have to worry about being exposed to the wind from all sides or their homes being crushed by heavy snow.

City Lord’s mansion, in Qi Bei’s bedroom.

Huan Ying’s dark green hair hung down to her chest, and her back was supported by Qi Bei’s single palm as he cleared the last blocked meridian.

Drops of fine sweat dripped from Huan Ying’s forehead, then gathered and slid down the pretty face towards the swan-like neck, and finally slid down the high, towering peaks wrapped tightly in sacrilegious clothing.

Her clothes were already soaked through, clinging tightly to her body, and the perfect curves made one’s blood boil.

However, Qi Bei was not in the mood to appreciate it. A faint golden mist swirled around his head, his sword eyebrows furrowed, and his face was a little pale.

He didn’t expect that clearing the last meridian would be so difficult.

Often he cleared two inches ahead, only to have one inch blocked again shortly afterward. This caused his internal energy to almost run out, but only half of the last meridian was cleared.

If he gave up halfway, needless to say, the meridian that was only half cleared would soon be completely blocked again.

Finally, Qi Bei exhausted the last bit of his internal energy, but there was still one-third of the blocked meridian that remained uncleared.

“Failing at the final moment…” Qi Bei sighed inwardly, feeling somewhat confused. According to this, his current internal energy was far from enough to support him to clear the last blocked meridian.

But at this moment, the extreme yang energy in Qi Bei’s body seemed to have reached a critical point and began to boil.

“This can’t be true, producing extreme yang fire now? Isn’t this going to kill me?” Qi Bei was greatly alarmed, and his entire body turned as red as fire.

Suddenly, a golden airflow flowed into Qi Bei’s dantian from the Dragon Seal on his left hand, which was different from the internal energy of the Divine Dragon Art. It carried a cool breath and rushed into Qi Bei’s dantian.

The extreme yang energy, which was about to be transformed into extreme yang fire, was calmed down somewhat by the coolness.

Qi Bei’s meridians expanded, and then his muscles and bones felt as if they were being torn apart, causing him intense pain that distorted his handsome face and made his teeth chatter.

With a crisp sound, as if a string had been plucked in his mind, his consciousness became extremely clear, and the dragon pattern in the Dragon Seal on his palm flew around him and then shrank back.

At this moment, golden internal energy suddenly appeared in Qi Bei’s empty dantian, and it continued to increase.

The originally misty internal energy began to compress and solidify, slowly taking the form of a dragon. The claws of the dragon made of internal energy were very clear and solid, with even scales visible, but other parts were somewhat blurry.

“Second level of the Divine Dragon Art.” Qu Bei quickly realized what had happened to him. When the extreme yang energy was about to turn into extreme yang fire, he broke through the shackles of the first level of the Divine Dragon Art and reached the second level.

The sudden breakthrough made Qu Bei’s depleted internal energy several times stronger than its peak in the first level. He naturally did not let go of this opportunity and continued to clear the last blocked meridian for Huan Ying.

At this point, Huan Ying’s meridian was blocked halfway again, but Qu Bei was not too worried anymore. With his current abundant internal energy, he could definitely unblock it completely.

One inch by inch, one-third, one-fifth…

Qu Bei gritted his teeth, his eyes shining with a faint golden light, and the golden mist swirling around him revealed a dragon-like shape.

Finally, this last meridian was completely unblocked by Qu Bei’s internal energy.

“Puff.”

All of a sudden, a gray mist of blood sprayed out of Huan Ying’s mouth.
