Yu Mei scolded herself inside her head.

"Let's eat. I'm cooking," Su Bin announced as he emerged out of the bathroom.

"Eh?" she got puzzled. "I thought…"

"It's a long story," Su Bin cut her statement off, his face darkened as he said so. "Come on, watch me cook."

Yu Mei did not probe any further when she saw how his face fell and just followed him to the kitchen.

----

Liu Yang stepped out of the pharmacy with a small bag of plastic in hand. She took big strides towards the parked luxurious black car across.

"Here, treat your wound."

She threw the plastic on his lap and sat straight while looking ahead. Noticing that Guan did not take it, she turned her head and met his eyes. He is looking at her with a blank face, eyes blinking occasionally.

"What?"

Instead of answering, Guan slowly inched his face closer to her that made Liu Yang back away.

"What are you doing?"

Her heart started beating rapidly. Is he going to kiss her again? Please, not again! The experience during that kiss was…horrible!

Guan stopped when his face is about a few inches away from hers. Looking at her terrified expression, he could not but chuckle. Was she that traumatized earlier? Well, this is his retribution for throwing up after kissing him. How dare she do that?

Hearing him laugh and feeling his hot breath blew on her face, Liu Yang slowly opened her eyes and pouted.

"What are doing again?"

He raised a brow and fired back, "What do you think?" He took the plastic and threw it back to her. "Treat it for me."

Liu Yang scoffed while rolling her eyes. "Why don't you just say it?" she shouted furiously.

"I have my ways," he gave lopsided grin that made him look striking making her heart skipped a beat.

Feeling her face blush, she cleared her throat and bowed her head, rummaging through the plastic and retrieving a piece of cotton while Guan was amusingly watching her.

As she raised her head to him, their eyes met once again. Liu Yang could not help but took a big gulp.

"It's going to sting a little," she uttered softly.

Guan did not answer. He just straightened his back to give her a clear view of his wound. She dabbed the cotton with the ointment.

It did sting a little but he endured it. His mind wandered on her hand as it unintentionally touched his skin making him froze and crease his brow. It somewhat distracted him especially when he remembered how soft they were earlier when he held it.

Guan felt his throat went dry so he swallowed a mouthful of saliva making his Adam's apple bob up and down. He wandered his eyes somewhere to make him distracted when his gaze landed on her serious face.

Everything complimented from her brows, doe eyes, a delicate nose, and her lips. Once again, Guan reminisced the way her hand felt when clasped together with his. On the back of his mind, the memory was still so fresh that he had the urge to try and have a taste of it once again.

The hand resting on the back of Liu Yang's seat clenched. He slowly raised it to her head when he heard her say, "Done!"

His hand froze in mid-air and he looked away, feeling a little disappointed. "Thank you," he softly said.

Shit! That was close. He almost lost himself and almost kissed her. Guan scolded himself while frowning. He had never been like this to a woman except for Min Chu. He had never been proactive when it comes to being intimate. What's wrong with him?

Liu Yang stared at him for a moment and wondered why he became weird all of a sudden. Well, he is always acting weird. She shrugged it off and turned her attention outside.

His thoughts were interrupted by the buzzing of his phone.

"What?" he snarled.

"Where's Qian Ge?"

"I'm coming over, book a room for me."

Room?

"Where are we going?" Liu Yang asked.

"To drink," Guan coolly answered.

Seeing her disbelief, he reassured her to ease her heart.

"Don't worry, we are just going to drink and talk. You know, let some fumes off. I promise I'm a man of my words."

"You better be," she pouted and put the safety belt on.
