"Don't you think today is quite full for me?" Ryn asked as she watched as the crew busy adjusting the background and the props for the photoshoot session. Apparently, the director hated the result after five frames and now they had to redo everything back.

"Really? I don't think so," Mei Li replied. She was accompanying Ryn for today's shooting. At the same time, she was exchanging messages with the producer of "A Day In My Life". The crews would come today to set the cameras.

Ryn twitched her lips. Only her manager did not share the same opinion. She had been up for two hours and most of the time, aside from the journey to come here while eating her sandwich for lunch, she spent the time in the small room for her make-up and hair. And she was wearing a wig.

The wig was huge and tall, it made her neck a bit uncomfortable but she sucked it up and maintain her smile. The only worry she had right now was for the wig to hit something and fell down, along with her.

"Alright, continue," the director shouted once he was satisfied with the set.

"I'll come back to you later," Ryn told Mei Li before she walked to the set carefully, holding the wig with her hand.

Mei Li pursed her lips. She had no idea why Ryn was fretting over the shooting. She should just act natural. It was after all a program about their daily life. Besides, tomorrow's episode was special because she would have her driving test. Mei Li already contacted the driving center where the test would be done. She already received permission from the center.

The only thing she was worried about was Mika and Jeremy. She hadn't told the siblings about the shooting and... Mei Li checked the time and frowned. How could she explain that the siblings have to pull a bit of their affection toward Ryn during the shooting, especially Jeremy? Hopefully tomorrow the man did not do anything that could make Ryn angry again.

It would not look good on television if the couple was quarreling. And it was not good for their names too. A big no-no.

She looked at Ryn busy posing in front of the camera for a few seconds before she made up her mind. She quickly walked outside the studio and took out her phone. It was better to inform them before they saw the camera without any notice.

She did not have to wait long for her call to be answered. Her heart was pounded hard when she heard the voice.

"Hello, Young Master Long," she greeted politely.

"Mei Li?"

"I'm sorry for disturbing you but I have something to tell you," Mei Li said slowly.

"What is it?"

"I'm not sure whether Catherine has told you but tomorrow she will be shooting another episode of "A Day In My Life," she explained.

"Another episode?"

"Yes, Young Master. The crews will come tonight to set the cameras. I will be there too to watch over them."

"Tonight?"

"Yes, Young Master. Don't worry. They will set it at the same positions as last time," Mei Li assured.

"IS there any plan for tomorrow?" Jeremy asked.

"Ryn has her driving test tomorrow morning. And she's free the rest of the day," Mei Li said as she checked the diary. Actually, she did not have to but she just wanted to make sure she did not arrange anything in the evening part of the day.

"Driving test? Did you let her practice before?" Jeremy asked.

Mei Li paused. She just realized that she did not plan any driving practice for Ryn. Uh oh, what should she do now? She checked the time and wondered whether she could squeeze a little bit of time for Ryn to practice... using her car. But another problem was... where they could go to practice the driving?

"If she fails tomorrow, arrange for another date and I will give her private practice," Jeremy decided. He was a bit disappointed because Ryn did not tell him anything. But, he coaxed himself, she was being angry at him for some time now so it was obvious she would not inform him of this important day.

"Yes, Young Master," Mei Li nodded despite it was a phone call. She was a bit taken aback when it seemed like Jeremy has no confidence in Ryn. However, she told herself that Jeremy was being pragmatic. It was better to have a plan B just in case plan A did not go as well as they wanted it to go.

She spent another minute just to assure and promise Jeremy that Ryn would not be alone with the crews tonight. Jeremy also would not come tonight to meet Ryn so as not to put pressure on Ryn in front of the camera crews.

"I need a drink," Mei Li said with a sigh after the phone call. She did not realize how nervous she was when talking with Jeremy. After it ended, she found herself sweating. And she definitely needed a drink to feel better.

And she had another call to make.

She bought a cup of double espresso. Instead of returning back to the studio, she chose a table in the cafe to have her drink.

The bitter drink made her eyes opened wide. No, it actually made her wince from the bitterness before she opened her eyes. She sighed. She really needed this.

She took another fifteen minutes to be ready to call Mika. She knew better to have a conversation with the other woman with her mind was still remembering the conversation she had with Mika's elder brother. It was a stressful conversation. She had to make sure that the man did not misunderstand her or worst, misunderstood Ryn. That man could pack a huge factory with his overloading vinegar.

To compare Mika with her brother, of course, Mika was much more understanding as long as she did not misunderstand that she was not needed by Ryn. As long as she did not feel that Ryn avoided her, she could accept anything.

And it was time for her, as Ryn's manager, to inform Mika about tomorrow's shooting so that if Mika met with Ryn tomorrow, she could control herself a little bit. We could not see Mika being her crazy self shouting and demanding of Ryn on the television. She still had to watch over her image as the little witch in the company.

Luckily for her, Mika did not question much about the shooting. She said she understood and knew what to do tomorrow.

And it only took Mei Li just fifteen minutes.

Mei Li returned back into the studio. Ryn was still in the middle of the shooting. She already changed into another outfit.

Ryn was wearing a red dress. It was tight at the chest and the waist but quite poofy on the leg and sleeve. It should look ridiculous but being Ryn, she managed to make it look good.

Mei Li stood beside the photographer. She watched as her model working on the set for a few seconds before she went to check the result in the computer. Each picture the photographer took would go immediately into the computer.

"Good... good... okay, next outfit," the director said as he clapped his hands. His eyes shone brightly as he checked each frame Ryn took.

So far there was no frame he hated. Each frame was perfect but he still wanted more from the same outfit even though the first one already perfect. Just for the 'just in case' situation.

Ryn nodded. She walked back into the room to change into another outfit. This was actually her fourth outfit and the one she would change would be her last outfit for this shooting. So excited!

She could not wait to take off the wig. Her neck was getting more painful every minute.

The next outfit was another dress. This time, it was a green dress. In a snake pattern!

When Ryn was done wearing it, she looked in the mirror. And scratched her nape.

This was the hardest dress she ever wore. The snake dress was quite a handful to handle but she believed she could do it.

"Let me touch up the make-up," the make-up artist said as she checked Ryn's face. She powdered and added a little bit of lipstick.

The hairstylist checked the wig carefully. It was still safe on top of Ryn's head. Phew...

"Okay, you're ready," she said with a big smile. She and the make-up artist went back to their spot to continue their chatting. They were not worried about Ryn because the model was professional and could do anything she was expected to do.

Ryn returned to the set and took a deep breath. Her mind was busy thinking about the kind of poses she could do to 'sell' the product.

It was challenging to do it but she hoped she did not ruin the dress too much. Oh no. Now she was nervous. And she never this nervous when doing her job.
