p with a frown. She seriously did not want to wake up yet. She still wanted to continue her sleep. She wanted to know what will happen next in the dream. She really liked it and she did not want it to end. Why now? Why?

Her alarm blared again... and again...

"I'm awake," she groaned as she crawled to get her phone on the nightstand. Her finger swiped the screen to stop the alarm and crawled back to sleep.

Five minutes later, she sat up and stared at the wall blankly. Her brain was still fuzzy. She could not remember what she supposed to do today. She scratched her head.

"Ah... the driving test..." she murmured sleepily. She pushed the blanket off her body and walked straight into the bathroom.

It took her fifteen minutes to freshen herself plus a few minutes staring at the wall blankly while the water raining down her body. She changed into a very comfortable tank top and pants. She also added a sweatshirt just in case it was too cold for her. For her hair, she just made a quick braid and put a cap on her head.

For her face, there was no makeup but lip balm. She only did a simple prep of moisturizer and sunblock. And that's all.

Now, she was ready.

"Where is Mei Li?" she checked the time for the second time. She was waiting for her manager to come to pick her up for breakfast and for the test.

She was still mumbling when someone rang the bell. She jumped to her feet and hurriedly went to open the door, only to frown to see other people were there.

She gave them a frown, a puzzled look.

The three people there were giving her an awkward smile when they realized she forgot about them.

"Yes?" she gave them a cool look.

"We're the team from the production," the director reminded her gently after he introduced them one by one to her.

"Ah..." she has finally remembered. She stepped back to give them a space to walk through, "For the interview? Come in."

The three of them quickly went into the house. One person was holding a camera.

"Where could we have the interview?" the director asked politely. He was hoping this model was not too drowsy so as not to ruin the interview. Of course, he would love for her to slip up so he could create hype for the episode. Last time, the reason behind Ryn's huge success was the fact she ate a lot of steaks. The amount she ate actually was more than a normal a.d.u.l.t man. So, he was excited to see which part of her activity he could use as the attraction for the episode.

"Over there is fine," Ryn gestured to the sofa. She sat comfortably on it and let a crew put on the microphone to her shirt.

"Can we start now?" the director asked.

"Yeah, sure."

"So Ryn, what's your plan for today? Have you had your breakfast yet?" the director asked. As Ryn was quite a foodie, it was important for him to remind everyone how much this skinny girl could eat.

"Breakfast?" Ryn looked down at her stomach sadly. She even rubbed it unhappily. "I haven't had my breakfast yet."

The director's brows rose quite high, they almost touched his hairline. He gulped as his mind busy searching for the next question.

"I'm waiting for Mei Li," Ryn said with a sigh. She looked at her watch and sighed again, "Still waiting. The traffic must be bad."

"Are you going to eat steak?" the director asked hurriedly.

"Ah... has the restaurant opened yet?" she frowned at her watch. It was quite early in the morning. She was not sure what time it would open. Has it opened yet?

The director gulped when Ryn gave him a hungry look. Had he asked a forbidden question?

"You're making me hungrier," Ryn complained. She was hungry before they came, hence, she was quite impatient for Mei Li to arrive and bring her to any restaurant for their breakfast. It was barely but she managed to control herself. But now, when the director reminded her of her all time favorite, the steaks, the hunger has getting larger until she could even feel something in her stomach playing drum harder and louder. It felt like a disco in her stomach right now and she could not hold it anymore.

"Excuse me," she stood up without warning and went into the kitchen to find anything, just anything, to make her stomach a little happier. Even if it was just a piece of chocolate!

The crews were left in shock with her sudden departure. They looked at each other before the cameraman, managed to gather his wit, quickly followed Ryn. The recording was still on as he followed Ryn opening and closing the cupboard in the kitchen. He skilfully stood behind her, taking all the view of what she was doing right so close to her without disturbing her at all. Hey, he has been in this industry more than five years so he was used with being a 'ninja'.

Ryn could not find anything that could ease her hunger from the cupboard. There was no dry food or dry ingredients. Erg… she really needed to do her grocery shopping today. She could not believe she had been forgetting to do it for days. What was on her mind?

Oh yes, Jeremy.

She had been furious of her boyfriend until she forgot about everything else. No, she hasn't forgotten about her work. The only thing she forgot was her personal life. Well, the only thing she forgot these days was her grocery shopping. It kept slipping off her mind!

Ryn patted her cheeks to gather back her wit. Now, she turned her attention to the refrigerator, praying hard she had something inside for her to eat.

The cameraman felt like he was in the middle of filming a sitcom when the model suddenly made a move as if she was trying to climb into the cold box. He could guess she was hungry but to this extreme? He turned to look at the director, but with the camera still focussing on her, he waited for the next instruction from the director. Should he stop? Should he continue?

The director who was sitting beside his assistant just gave the cameraman a furious gesture for him to continue. This was what he wanted in the episode. Something weird. Something crazy. This model was quite... well, to be honest, she was way too different than any model, too... normal. But when it came to food, she turned into a crazy foodie. This was what made her episode so interesting. She was living for eating!

Unhappily, Ryn's quest for food ended up with a failure.

She could not find anything to fill her stomach. Not even an egg!

And there was no instant noodle too!

Her poor stomach.

Forgetting about those 'ninjas' in her house, she flopped on the floor and started to look at the refrigerator blankly.

A minute passed.

Another five minutes passed.

The three 'ninjas' looked at each other. It was obvious their presence was forgotten by the model. It was clear to them, they were not as important as food in her mind right now.

Another five minutes passed.

The assistant cleared her throat and murmured, "I think the interview just ended, don't you?"

The director looked at his assistant, before at the helpless cameraman. He sighed and nodded his head. There was nothing they could do now when Ryn never once looked at them since the moment she rushed into the kitchen to search for food.

"Let's go," the director decided. He signalled the cameraman to leave her quietly as he and his assistant did the same. Why would they wait when the interview was no longer available? He could just edit whatever they managed to get… well, at least it could show how important food was in her mind until she forgot everything else.

Ryn did not even notice their leaving. She just stared at the refrigerator with her stomach growling in hunger.

Her attention was finally brought back to reality when her phone rang. The loud ringing actually snapped her back to what she was doing and it made her quickly turned to look at the sofa. Her eyes widened when she realized the three of them were no longer there.

Where were they?

She went to the living room and searched around but there was no one there. She was alone. She pursed her lips but later shrugged it off. No matter. She knew even if they were not here, they were a.d.u.l.ts so they knew how to take care of themselves.

She reached for her ringing phone and a wide smile appeared on her face.

"Are you here, Mei Li?" maybe because she finally remembered about the shooting, she put the call on speaker.

She did not greet or say hello once she swiped the screen to connect the call because she could not hold her hunger anymore. If Mei Li said she was on the way, Ryn decided she would go downstairs and looked for her breakfast alone. She could not wait anymore!

"I'm downstairs," Mei Li announced. She was a bit taken aback when Ryn did not even say hello or anything, straight away asking about her location.

Had something happened during the shooting?
