Jacob took the driver seat during their trip. He already knew the area as he came here previously to check the places once he heard that Mika wished to take their pre-wedding photos in Spain. He also was the one who chose this mansion and arranged the maids for their trip.
Mika wanted to take the backseat so she could sit with Ryn but she found that once Ryn got into the car, Jeremy quickly sat beside her. Mika glared and stared but Jeremy ignored her.
Nothing could stop him from sitting beside his love.
Mika gave Ryn a sad look, hoping her best friend would insist for the man to sit in front but Ryn was trying hard not to fall asleep against the window. After the huge breakfast, it was normal to feel a little bit drowsy.
"Get in, love, or we'll be late," Jason called when he noticed his fiancée was still standing outside.

"Mika, get in or we will leave you," Jeremy said. Unlike Jason, he did not really want Mika to follow them. He wished to be alone with Ryn. Jason could just send them to the market and leave them there. But then again, Jason would not leave his fiancée alone.
Mika gave sad look at her fiancé but Jason just smiled and gestured for her to sit beside him. With a heavy sigh, Mika went to the front seat sadly. This was why she hated when Jeremy decided to tag along with them for this trip. Jeremy would try to conquer Ryn the whole time!
Along the journey, Mika kept turning back to chat with Ryn. At first, Ryn did answer the question and responded to the chat but slowly, as the scenery lulled her to get drowsier and drowsier.
Jeremy saw her heavy eyes closing and smiled tenderly. Without a word, he pulled her so she would rest against his shoulder comfortably. He stroked her back as if he was coaxing her to sleep even deeper. He gave a warning look at Mika to keep quiet, not to disturb Ryn from her slumber.
Mika pursed her lips sadly and looked at Jason. Her fiancé just chuckled with one hand still holding the steering wheel carefully while another patting Mika's head. Their sleeping beauty really could sleep anytime and anywhere.
It took them almost half an hour to arrive from the mansion. It was not because the traffic was bad but because the market was quite far from the mansion and some of the roads was quite narrow, just enough for a car to drive through. Jason found an empty parking lot to park the car and parked it. It was not that far so they could still walk without breaking a sweat.
"Love, wake up. We've arrived," Jeremy stroked Ryn's back gently to wake her up. He ignored the couple in the front seats and dropped a kiss gently. The kiss stirred Ryn from the dream she was having as she blinked her eyes adorably.
"Hmm… where are we?" Ryn blurted out without thinking. She was still drowsy and wanted to continue her dream but this man beside her insisted for her to wake up.
"We've arrived. Wake up, love," he told her and stole another light kiss against her rosy lips. As the lipsticks have turned into just a stain mark under Mika's professional hand, it did not leave mark on his lips. He decided he liked this type of make-up. It did not affect their kiss at all.
Jason did not wait to hear the conversation between Ryn and Jeremy. He simply shut off the engine and went to open the door on Mika's side. He offered his hand to help her and even helped to adjust the hat on her head once she stood properly on the ground. He took the woven bag from her hand, not even ashamed of holding it for her.
Jeremy helped Ryn getting out of the car. Like Jason, he also helped to adjust the hat on her head. But as she did not bring any bag but only her purse, he did not volunteer to bring it for her. He knew even if he asked, she would only refuse. Sometimes it was a bit of a struggle when the love of your life was too independent. He felt like he could not dote on her too much just like Jason doting on Mika.
This time, Mika quickly seized the chance and took hold of Ryn's hand. She turned and stuck her tongue out at Jeremy childishly. Then, she started her usual chatter as she urged Ryn to the market.
Jeremy and Jason shared a look, snorted, and shook their head in bemused. They followed behind the women silently.
Almost two hours later, the quartet returned back to the car. Mika and Jeremy were holding a bouquet of flowers while Jason was holding bags of fruits and some street food. Ryn on the other hand was enjoying chocolate churros. She did ask them whether they wanted to have some but the three of them refused. Mika was because of her diet even when she looked at the delicious snack longingly. Jason and Jeremy were still full from their breakfast. It left only Ryn who was so happy to enjoy the delicious delicacy. Of course, she chose some other food as well.
The flowers were bought by the men for their partner. But as Ryn was enjoying her food, Jeremy carried the flowers for her.

"Return home first," Jeremy decided. In the quartet, it was almost automatic for Jeremy to lead them even though he and Jason shared the same age. Jason was too lazy to lead whenever Jeremy was there. His only focus was on Mika so he did not care anything else while Jeremy related to both the women so he would, unconsciously, made decisions that would not harm any of them and would at least make them both happy and appeased. Well, the only person who would find fault with his decision would be Mika but that was why Jason beside her, to coax her and to make her feel better.
Jason nodded and drove the car steadily toward the mansion they rented during the period of this trip. He planned to contact the crews, whether they have arrived at the hotel. The others did not follow them to the mansion but instead stayed at the hotel nearby where the couple would take their pre-wedding photos. Of course, he already told them the locations and what time he expected them to arrive at the mansion to pick the clothes. The crews took another plane to come along with the equipment needed. Only the dresses were brought by Mika as she was worried they would be ruined on the way.
Once they arrived, Jeremy brought the food to the kitchen while the women, with flowers in their hands, went upstairs to get some rest. Jason went to the study room to deal with some of his works. Just like Jeremy, he also worked albeit from a long distance. He did not want the trip to interrupt his work so he told his personal assistant to keep him up-to-date with the progress of his projects. He, unlike Jeremy, was not ready to replace his father and wanted to gain more experience so he only led one department, well, the most important department in the company. Right now, despite being busy with the wedding preparation, he was busy with four mega projects and sometimes needed to travel overseas and within the country to inspect the progress as well as dealing with contracts. Although he seemed to be free when accompanying Mika whenever she wanted or needed, only his family and the Long knew what time he usually slept every night.
The kitchen was empty of people. The help only came to prepare food and to clean the house. Jeremy went straight to place the food into the refrigerator. He looked around with a smile. He could actually picture Ryn standing in the kitchen, wearing a blue apron with no design or flower at all, being busy cooking for the family. Hmm… maybe this mansion was a good investment. He liked the size of the rooms as well as the surrounding area. It was not too near nor too far from the town so they would have total privacy. It even has its own private beach!
But then again, if he planned to buy this mansion, he needed to ask for Ryn's opinion too. Only she would know whether the location was strategic for her to stay whenever she has to work here. If not, it would stay empty until they came for holiday.
