The car stopped right at the left side of the small airplane. The driver quickly went to open the door and Jeremy came out of the car. He leaned down and offered his hand at the person inside. A smooth long white hand accepted his offer and a woman came out.

It was Ryn.

Another couple came out from the car but Jeremy's eyes were only on Ryn. He rested his hand on her back as he ushered her to climb up the stairs into the airplane.

The driver opened the bonnet and handed the bags to another man who quickly brought them into the airplanes.

"Why do I feel this one is different?" Ryn asked once she sat on the chair.

"Is it?" Jeremy asked innocently. He actually told the company to redo the interior a bit when he heard Ryn commented it screamed too stiff and corporate. Ryn did not mean anything. It was just an afterthought when Mika asked for her opinion but for Jeremy, every word Ryn said would determine his place in her heart.

Hence, the interior, instead of a brown, black, and white theme, turned into a white interior. An angel theme. Everything was in white, even the chairs and the table. Who knew how much the cost for it but Jeremy did not care at all. Most of the time, he would be the one using it to bring him to all places he needed to go. Occasionally Mika would need to use it for her work. And Jeremy decided whenever he needed to go to a place for several days, he would ask Ryn to accompany him.

"I must be… dreaming?" Ryn frowned. She turned to look at Mika and Jason who just came in. Her brows lifted when she saw Mika's jaw dropped.

Maybe it was not a dream after all.

"What… what actually happened here?" Mika asked. Her eyes immediately zeroed to her big brother, knowing who the main culprit was. Who would date to change this if not her stupid big brother?

Jeremy ignored the accusation. He simply urged his girlfriend to sit and gestured for the stewardess to serve a drink. He was thirsty too and he bet she was too.

Jason pulled Mika to sit at the entertainment section, trying to put a distance between the siblings to avoid a new argument. Once was enough in the morning and at least, it happened in the hotel so he could bring her to another place to cool her down. In the plane? It was hard if they started their silly argument.

"But baby…" Mika looked at Jason unhappily.

"My love, it's not important who or why this place is redesigned. Don't you think it's less… formal now? Look more… angelic?" Jason coaxed gently.

"But I…"

"Don't you think this looks better?" he asked.

Mika looked around with her big eyes before nodded slowly. She could not help from feeling this was better than before. Before she felt oppressed with the manly and formal design but now… she felt more like home. But if only there was something pink popping around, it would look better. She knew it was too much to ask because… as she glanced at Ryn who was listening to Jeremy's nonsense, her best friend hated pink and her big brother would not put something that Ryn did not like.

But... did Jeremy ask for their parents' opinion first before he did this?

Ryn sipped her drink slowly as she listened to what Jeremy was talking about. He was trying to make her imagine what their life would be once they got married. She was too lazy to point out that so far she had no plan for marriage yet. She hadn't started her practical training yet, hadn't graduated from the University, and yet to know what her future would be. Would she stay as a model for three to four years more or would she start to find a permanent job after graduating? She also wanted to discuss with her parents their living situation. The house has finished with the renovation and her parents could move in any time. She would prefer to live with them rather than alone even though it would mean she had to listen to her mother's nag about meat being harmful to health and she should feel pity for the poor little cute cow.

She missed living with them.

Maybe after the wedding and before the training start she should go back to them and discuss this over. Her contract with the modeling agency was only for two years so a few more months left. Her parents surely would feel glad once she was no longer busy with traveling, right?

Poor Jeremy did not know that Ryn's future plan did not involve him yet. Ryn still kept him on probation to protect herself. She guessed deep inside her she was still scared of being hurt again.

"Ryn, why don't we sit together?" Mika asked as she skipped at her right before the plane took off. She looked at her best friend lovingly.

"Mika, sit with your fiance, " Jeremy ordered. He had no mood to allow Mika to conquer Ryn today. Although he would arrange for Ryn to come to the studio almost daily for her singing exercise before the wedding, nevertheless, she was his girlfriend. It would be normal for them to sit together.

Mila gave Ryn a pleading look.

"Mika, " Ryn sighed. "Jeremy."

The siblings looked at her.

"I want to sit alone, " Ryn decided. There were more seats here that the siblings could choose from even if not beside her. And she was too exhausted to listen to their argument. She wanted peace for this trip.

Both gave her a hurt look but she avoided their eyes. She looked another way.

Jason hid a grin when he saw this. He stood up and went to pull his fiancee to another seat.

"Baby, come sit beside me. You don't want to leave me sitting alone, do you?"

Mika looked at him, before at Ryn, and then back at her fiance. With a heavy sigh, she allowed him to bring her to another seat.

Jeremy, the lonely person being ignored, sighed heavily. He went to sit right in front of Ryn, hoping she would change her mind and call him to sit beside her.

The journey started quite peacefully, to say the least.

Hours later, they arrived at the airport. Ryn rubbed her sleepy eyes as she followed the rest into the car. Instead of walking into the building just like when they went to Spain, the small private plane landed just beside the car. It must be Jeremy's arrangement. Maybe also because they came separately last time and needed to wait hence they went through the building. This time, they used only a car, Long's family car. The driver would send them home.

"Young masters and mistresses, the families are waiting for lunch at Seventh Dragon. I will bring you there, " the driver informed them politely after they settled into the car.

"I guess I am not..." Ryn noticed the plural in families and thought the lunch was to discuss about the wedding preparation.

"Your presence is expected too, Young Miss, " the driver said before even Jeremy and Mika argued with Ryn. The siblings gave an approving nod at the man holding the steering wheel. Of course, Rym was included in the lunch. She is family.

Ryan sighed. She thought she could get away from this. Why did she feel the dowager would be there as well?

Just as she thought, the dowager was there as well. She gave her and everyone else a polite bob and smile after greeting them. Mika went to greet her future in-laws happily before she whined a bit when her parents teased her for forgetting about them when she was going to move into another family. Jason smiled as he greeted everyone. He even helped to pull Mika's chair beside him.

Jeremy stood beside Ryn protectively as he greeted everyone. He pulled a chair for Ryn, sitting beside him of course, and as the table in the private room of this restaurant was a round table, Mika was sitting on the other side of Ryn. The four youngest, therefore, were sitting side by side facing the elders.

"We've ordered, " Mr Long announced.

The youngsters did not complain. They were tired from the journey but as it was expected for them to come, they had to come.

The dowager looked at each one of them before her eyes stopped at Ryn. It seemed like this young lady lost her weight again. She swore the last time she saw Ryn, she had more meat on her cheek. Now, she could see how sharp the cheekbones were and she did not like it at all.

"Add more meat, " she decided as she stopped to look at her own granddaughter in displeased. This was another one who kept losing weight. She did not understand why Mika kept thinking being too thin good. She looked like a skeleton if she lost more.
