Ryn kept her wit and insisted she was too busy to meet Mika today. It took her almost an hour to make Mika gave up. She even managed to cook her steaks as she coaxed Mika to agree.

"Mika, I'm hungry. Can we talk later?" she almost begged her best friend to let her go. She could barely hold her wit anymore.

"Fine. Bye," Mika said finally and disconnected the call.

Ryn let out a relieved sigh loudly. She then put the phone onto the counter and looked at the plate of steaks happily. Finally, she could eat.

She put the plate into the microwave to reheat for a minute and she refilled the water in the bottle while waiting. She also took a glass and opened the refrigerator again to look for anything she could drink.

Thanks to Jeremy, her refrigerator was full of other stuff too.

She took out a carton of orange juice and poured it into the glass. She brought both the glass of orange juice and the bottle of water to the dining table. And then, she returned to take the steak and her phone to the table as well.

She glanced at the phone when it rang again. She frowned. She was just starting to eat but someone wanted to disturb her meal time... again.

She took a bite of her steak and reached for the phone. It was from her mother so she could not avoid the call. She chewed quickly and answered the call.

"Hello, mother."

"Hello, my dear. How is your moving?" her mother asked. They knew yesterday was the day Ryn decided to move house. Hence, none of them called her so as not to disturb her.

"Everything is good. Today I'm arranging all the smaller things. I'm going to decorate your room as well," Ryn replied. She did not want to make her parents worried about her. Especially after the kidnapping attempt, her mother knew how traumatic it was for her and she sometimes had to tell herself several times to get out to face the world even when she was already smiling and continuing her work and classes. She managed to fake her courage so no one except her mother.

That was why her mother always called her when she forgot to do so. Her mother would ask how she was doing and she could share her worry and happiness with her mother.

"Are you still keeping the main bedroom for us? My dear, you don't have to," her mother said with a sigh. Ryn always told her that she would leave the main bedroom for her parents. They did tell her she did not have to do it as they were happy living in the countryside but Ryn insisted. It almost felt like Ryn did not want to have the feeling she was living alone and still living with her parents.

Sigh....

If ony she already graduated and no longer worked as a model. Ryn could live with them in the countryside and looked for a job here. She did not know what kind of job would suit her daughter but she believed Ryn was the kind of person who could get used living anywhere. That was how they raised her. And she believed that her daughter still not forgetting what they taught her... well... apart from being a carnivore and avoided vegetable like her enemy.

But it might take long for her daughter to live with them.

"You need a room when you come here... and when you decide to move back with me," Ryn replied. She stubbornly believed that her parents would return once they had their fun at the countryside. Actually this time her parents stayed longer than they used to when they ventured into a new job. Although she hadn't heard they has lost their interest, she believed they would soon move back to the city and live with her.

"Fine. I guess we need a room to sleep when we visit you," her mother said finally. She did not know how to make Ryn understood that they already decided to live in the countryside for the rest of their life. They found the life here much more to their style. It was slower and less stressful than in the city. And the air was fresher too.

They loved living in the countryside.

Ryn smiled. She stood up and walked to the main bedroom. She walked to the window and smiled, the phone was still at her left ear. She was still on the call with her mother.

"You will like your room. It's overlooking the small forest," Ryn said as she looked outside. Another reaskn why she chose this house was because of the scenery. She felt like she was still in nature despite being in the city.

"Can you hear bird chirping?" her mother asked. She felt like her daughter really needed this conversation. What happened to her daughter lately?

"I'm not sure, mom. I was too exhausted to hear," Ryn answered honestly. With what happened last night, she did not think she has the mood to hear anything.

"What time did you sleep last night, Ryn?" her mother asked. She knew that her daughter has crazy schedule anmd irregular sleeping time. Another reason why she did not really like her daughter to become a model again because of this hectic and crazy life. Her daughter seemed to not have enough sleep when she was working.

"It was 2? I couldn't remember what time exactly, mom. The recording ended late," Ryn explained. She stayed until the end and when she finally left with Mika, she was half asleep... wait... she was already nodding off when the car left the building. Mika had to wake her up when they reached her house.

"You should sleep more. Why are you already up? Do you have work today?" her mother asked worriedly. Her daughter slept so late and already woke up just to chat with her?? Somehow she was regretted for calling her daughter today. She should just call Ryn tomorrow.

"I'm free today actually but later I will meet Jeremy. I'm having my brunch now," Ryn replied. She walked back to the dining table and sat on the chair. Her steaks were getting cool but she still wanted to talk with her mother.

"So you are really serious with him?" her mother asked carefully. She understood why it seemed like her daughter hard on Jeremy. That day really broke her heart and it took her long time to mend her heart. Of course she also understood Jeremy's feeling. That boy grew up in front of her and she saw how in love Jeremy was toward her daughter. So when they suddenly broke up, it took her by surprise but her focus was helping her daughter to recover. She did not care about anything else, just helping Ryn to recover.

"I guess so. Mom, do you think I'm making a huge mistake?" Ryn asked worriedly.

"Do you love him still?" her mother asked.

"I do," Ryn confessed. She could not deny it anymore. Her heart still belonged to Jeremy, past present and future.

"Then, what are you afraid about? He loves you too," her mother pointed out. She did not tell her daughter, even until now, that Jeremy's family came to the countryside, to their humble house just to ask Ryn's hand in marriage. But the weird thing was, the family told them that the engagement should not be now but in another time and the wedding too. Both husband and wife did not understand actually but for the sake of their daughter's future happiness, they just nodded their head and agreed. And the family asked them to keep it a secret first from Ryn because they planned to make it an event when Jeremy proposed to Ryn officially. As Jason created an event when he proposed Mika, the family thought it was appropiate for Ryn to receive the same treatment as well. And they would create an event just for that day so Ryn would feel appreciated and loved.

She felt gratefull, loved and happy but at the same time she was a bit worried that he would lose his fans because of her. She did not want to affect his future.

"If that so, don't worry. You deserve to be happy, my darling. You two love each other so don't worry too much. Besides, he is no longer active as a singer, right? He needs to focus on his business and I don't think, dear, that his clients care who his lover is," her mother coaxed. "Don't let it affect your happiness."
