So they decided to send them out and get Matilda to use her ability to injure, weaker and disorientate them, so that they could then take them down.
Matilda had been storing energy within her voice box, ready to release a Sonic Cry from the start of the battle and Milo and Cole stood far away to avoid its power, while Julia was in a full suit of armour.
Julia's armour was produced out of her Water Creation Soul Spirit and the water she used wasn't ordinary.
It was water that was enhanced and produced by her energy and the moisture in the surrounding air, which gave it dampening and reinforcement properties.
The armour was as hard as steel and could take powerful impact, but was also as flexible and malleable as water.
The dampening effects of her armour were a perfect counter for Matilda's ability and she would barely be injured by it if she focused her defensive armour around her ears in order to dampen the shock wave.
Seeing Damian and Kong suddenly jump away, she unleashed the Sonic Cry that she had been storing and preparing to use against them, but it didn't have as great of an effect as they were hoping for and expecting.
Mid-air, after jumping back, Damian used the Flame Burst Skill and swooped Kong into his arms before launching himself away from Matilda.
The further away from her one was, the less impact they experienced from her Sonic Cry, while it was also fuelled by her emotion, so the Sonic Cry was not at full power.
She had learnt to control it and also target it into a single beam, seeking to find other ways to apply the ability, but it was still linked to her emotions, so its true power could only be unleashed in times she was desperate or angry.
Despite that, blood still flowed from Damian's ears while he was also slightly dizzy from her attack.
He would have also suffered internal damage from the impact if he wasn't able to stop himself from slamming into the wall using the Flame Burst Skill, with Kong still in his arms.

While Matilda was taking on Kong and releasing smaller sonic cries, using her ability, that were more like targeted beams and would deal more physical damage.
"Milo you join Julia against Damian, while I will take down the monkey with Matilda," called out Cole as he rushed towards Matilda to support her against Kong.
Out of the two of them, Damian was the least predictable and the most skilled in combat, while Kong had great physical strength and speed, but didn't have much depth to the way he fought.
Their allocation of power was a good match, but they were underestimating Kong, while Damian had also improved greatly.
With his Fire Batons, Damian with his Adaptive Battle Style quickly found the pattern of Julia's attack pattern and found an opening and weakness in the way she fought.
Even with her armour, a full power strike from Damian's explosive fire batons would weaken her greatly and just as Damian was about to strike her, Milo charged towards Damian and made it to her side in time.
"It's been a while since we have been able to fight like this Milo. Show me just how much you improve,"
