Juin gulped nervously as he tried to think of an answer. "N-no… I was talking to myself…"

"Liar…" "Taka" scoffed. "But so be it…"

Juin backed himself slowly as he looked at "Taka". The teenager was walking toward him slowly, seemingly trying his best to suppress Juin's will to fight back… and it was working.

Juin had always faced bullies who were bigger than him, but he always knew that, at most, he would be punched a couple of times or thrown into the rubbish bin. But with this "Taka", Juin actually felt that he might die.

He placed his hand in his pant pockets to stop "Taka" from seeing them in their trembling state.

"Huh?" Juin thought when he felt something in his pocket. Glancing down, he saw that it was the life-saving card that President Presley gave him. "Surely I can last more than a day before using this?" he thought wryly as he looked back at "Taka".

"W-Why are you so interested in me?" Juin stuttered, trying to delay the inevitable, as he thumbed the card in his pocket, wondering if he should call the man, who might or might not be a vampire from Lucifer's world.

"I don't," "Taka" admitted. "But my son was sure that you're the one the demons are looking for… and his intuition is always right."

The patriarch of the Nakamura Family had always doted on his second son, who had shown signs of greatness since birth, and as such, he took his words seriously. Yet as he looked at the frail boy before him, he could not understand his son's intuition.

"Can someone as weak as this kid lead an army of demons?" "Taka" thought with a slight frown. He knew that Juin was the boy who was there when the book and the sword that he wanted disappeared from the museum. And that Juin fought the Luca brat from the Order, causing injury to the other boy.

At first, the patriarch just told his children to bring the items back and that they could do as they saw fit. If anything happened, the Nakamura Family could easily cover things up. But when he heard from his son that Juin might be more than just a possessed human being and that he, Taka, wanted to bring Juin into the family, the patriarch decided to take a quick look at the boy himself.

--

Meanwhile, Juin frowned slightly upon hearing "Taka"'s words earlier. "The one… the demons are looking for? I don't understand."

Instead of confirming anything for Juin, "Taka" scoffed as he took another step closer to Juin. "Just remain in the darkness for now. Anyway, decision time. Join or not join."

Juin's finger kept tapping against the card as he raced to make a decision. Glancing to his side, he saw that Lucifer was nervous as well. Lucifer might be able to fight against the real Taka, but with this "Taka", he was actually unsure about the possibility of them winning unscathed.

"I have no choice…" Juin mumbled as he grabbed the card in his pant pocket.

However, just as he was about to activate his soul power and call upon the president of the Order, he heard the sound of bells.

Ling!

Ling!

Ling!

It was soft and light, but it caught everyone's attention.

When they saw the owner of the sound, everyone was shocked.

It was a… little boy.

The little boy was standing above a table with his arms folded, and he was wearing a dark blue oversized t-shirt that reached his knees… Oddly enough, St. Xavier's logo was on it.

"Who are you?" "Taka" frowned. This kid was abnormal, that was for sure. "Taka" had set up a dimension for this confrontation. Basically, it meant that they were in a small, alternate dimension that he opened up. So how did this kid end up here? And how did he appear unnoticed?

"Zheng!" The kid smirked and jumped off the table, creating more of the soft ling-ling-ling sound. That was when they noticed the small red bells that he was wearing around his ankles.

The boy went to the front of Juin, making him even more confused now.

"Erm… kid… It's a bit dangerous here…" Juin said as he scratched the back of his head. The night was turning weirder and weirder, and he was wondering if his sanity would be broken tonight.

"Kid?" The boy scoffed as he glared back at Juin. "I'm probably older than you!"

The boy then turned to glare at "Taka". Pointing a finger at "Taka", he snarled, "If you want to hurt him, you have to get past me!"

"Taka" blinked. He then glanced at his daughter before opening a portal right behind her. "Get out of here."

Mika was unsure as she glanced between her "father" and Juin. "Dad, you won't seriously hurt him, right?"

"Weakling!" "Taka" snapped. "Get the hell out of here now! Don't make me say again!"

Mika winced. She gave a "I'm sorry" glance to Juin before stepping through the portal.

Once she was gone, the environment changed. Instead of a restaurant, they were now in an empty open space. "Taka" said to the boy, "Kid, don't blame me if you got injured…"

The kid stuck his chin out and said proudly, "If you're here with your real body, you might still be able to hurt me… but using your son's body? Fat chance!"

"Taka" laughed and said, "Taka, this is your chance to practice… Don't disappoint me…"

As he said so, the little bump from the side of Taka's neck opened up, and out flew a small butterfly that grew bigger and bigger, until it was the size of an adult's palm. Meanwhile, Taka shook his head and looked around, slightly confused.

"Dad?" he asked curiously as he looked at the butterfly that soon fluttered down onto his head.

A voice appeared within Taka's mind. "Defeat the kid… And kill the boy if he doesn't join us."
