"That will be dangerous," Mr. Thompson still said disapprovingly. "I know that you are strong, but when you are on Earth, you have to be careful not to let humans find out about your true identity. Supernatural beings, which include beasts such as yourself, are living in the dark here."

"Why?" the little boy asked, looking extremely adorable with his big, curious eyes.

"The humans here aren't the same as those in your world, and they will be scared. When they are scared, they have the tendency to kill things that frightened them…" Mr. Thompson explained in a gentle voice.

Mr. Thompson wasn't exactly sure if the humans in Zheng's world were the same as those here, or if there were humans at all, but since Zheng managed to shapeshift into a human form, one that could be perceived as normal here, Mr. Thompson deduced that the humans in his world must have looked similar.

"I can kill them…" said the boy as he raised a fist.

"Id rather you not," Mr. Thompson said with a frown. "This is not your world anymore, so you need to abide by the rules. And you need to learn how to be one of the humans here. If you act against the humans, there will be supernatural beings that will come after you."

Zheng growled and sat down on the floor angrily with his arms folded. "This is stupid! And of all world, why am I stuck in this stupid one?"

Mr. Thompson pinched his glabella and thought for a while. He then looked at Juin and said, "Ok, let's do this. I'll get someone to create an identity for this little one, and we will create a sad background story for him so that it can justify him being homeschooled. As for the tutor, I can pay for it through an anonymous donation, so Mrs. Martin doesn't have to worry about the expense. And I'll get a suitable tutor for him as well."

It should not be hard to create a sad story for the little boy. After all, when everyone saw him earlier, he was wearing oversized clothes and had soot smeared on his face and limbs. He was already thinking of the story for him, something that involved him being locked in a room his whole life, hence his lack of knowledge in social interaction.

"Alright then..." Mr. Thompson stood up and said to Juin, "I'm going to go tell the doctor that you are awake. For now, try to bond with him."

After Mr. Thompson left, the two just stared at each for a while in awkward silence before Juin said with a wry smile, "Do you mind coming closer? I can't… exactly move at the moment."

The little boy pouted, but he still got up and dragged his feet over to Juin before sitting down on the side of Juin's hospital bed with his left leg tucked under him and his right leg dangled off the side.

"What?"

"Mr. Thompson said that to keep you safe, I have to bond with you… And in exchange, you will keep me safe as well."

Juin smiled softly. "You're right… I'm still weak at the moment. And I don't really understand everything about this 'bond' thing yet. I think I need to ask him about this later. By the way, why did you come to me?"

Zheng was about to say something when he covered his mouth with both his hands. That grey-haired man with multiple piercings who saved him told him not to say anything. Zheng promised that he would not mention anything about him, and he was not about to break it.

He then repeated the story that the man created for him. "There were bad men who tried to catch me, but I ran away from them when they didn't pay attention to me… And I jumped into one of the portals they created when they didn't notice, and that was how I got here. I was walking around when I felt the weird aura coming from the restaurant. When I went in, I noticed that the space was distorted and knew that someone had created an alternate dimension."

"You can enter another dimension freely?"

Zheng nodded and put his right index finger out.

Swoosh!

A sharp talon shot out of his finger as he said arrogantly, "As long as it's a horizontal dimension, I can easily cut a portal in."

"Erm…" Juin slowly pushed the boy's hand down and said, "Don't simply do that anymore, especially in public. It will be hard to explain if someone asks about it. And what do you mean by horizontal dimension?"

"Err… Same level as the main world?" Zheng said, unsure if his explanation was correct. He was too young to understand difficult concepts, so he could only repeat what his parents told him before.

Juin frowned and did not ask more. He already had a rough idea of what Zheng was trying to say. Basically, if he was right, a horizontal dimension meant a dimension that was on the same plane as Earth… or one that was of equal strength.

"That makes sense…" Juin thought to himself. "That explains why this kid didn't suffer any of the backlashes that Lucifer told me before… And where's that guy?"

Juin looked around the room, but no matter how many times he looked, Lucifer wasn't there. "Is he alright…" Juin thought worriedly. Lucifer seemed a little off earlier when they were at the alternate dimension, and besides, Lucifer had barely healed from the fight with Warlock when he had to exert so much energy as well.

Juin could ignore his physical pain, as that would always heal, but the effect on Lucifer's soul might be something that would be hard to heal from.

Making it a point to look at his Soul Dimension later, Juin then turned his attention back to the kid. He then smiled and said in a gentle manner, "I don't like to force people into doing things. If you want to bond with me, then so be it. Even if you don't, I'll still protect you, even if you don't need my protection."
